Wow! This is amazing. The water looks so realistic. Thanks for showing how you do the big waves first and add the shadow ripple after. Also, the outline of the boat is perfect. I would like to try this painting too. Thanks for sharing.
The thing that you you were referring to that the boat can be tied to is called a BUOY. In Australia we pronounce it like BOY but the Americans call it a BOO’EE. Anyway all that aside, you’ve made this painting so simple but beautiful. It’s amazing that a few strokes can end up looking like such realistic waves. It proves again that LESS IS MORE or whatever they say. I would never get tired of having a painting like this on my wall. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much, Renate. I`ll try to remember that (it is similar to the word in my language, so I might :). I am so glad you liked it. It did turned out nice at the end.
Beautiful seascape Renata! love the way you handeld those waves! it looks very realistic :) love the colors, from the thumbnail looks almost black and white :D I painted a sescape too but mine was a little bit more colorful ;) Beautiful work, enjoyed watching! have a wonderful day! Marija 😊✨✨💖
Oh wow that’s great. This has definitely helped me figure out how to do a seascape better, especially when you’re painting the waves. I have got to get use to learning to leave & use the white spaces & negative space for my artwork.
Yes, I do also. Usually I rely on white gouache or acrylic, but this could be a better way to do it. They do have a different tint from paper color, so it mostly doesn`t look so good as the white of the paper.
Beautiful. Thank you very much. Please can you make a video in which you show how you sketch/ erase and trace your sketch from a regular printing paper on to the watercolor paper please? That would be great help. Appreciate it.
I do have a few videos where I do that. You can see the entire process. I have never done a video dedicated especially to that. Maybe I could. Thanks for the suggestion. :)
