I’m very late to the party, watching this tutorial on a rainy autumn day. It was a great video and has inspired me to give it a go. The whole painting came to life with the addition of the white at the end. Thank you Paul
Very much enjoyed the painting, and I learned a new term (contrejour)! I think you absolutely nailed the backlighting with the sparkles. You did stop just in time. 😀
I can't find much guidance on painting nocturnals. If you would do an example. It will be greatly appreciated. Please do continue with the minimal drawing in your work. 🇺🇸
