- Panerai makes incredible tool watches! The Panerai PAM00112 is an incredible manual-wind timepiece with exhibition case-back and proper water resistance of 300m/1000ft. The PAM112 is a core reference Panerai and is not a fashion watch. It's a dive watch with Panerai's crown guard system. If you're looking for one of the best Panerai references, I highly recommend the Panerai Luminor PAM112! #Panerai #TimepiecesForTomorrow #PAM112

Wow, congrats on the channel irixguy, I remember watching your video's way back when. Your UN vids especially. I've been in the watch (madness) game for 14 years now, having owned all the big brands. My latest acquisition is a PAM915 and I'm finding it to be one of those one watch collection pieces. Panerai absolutely nailed it when Alessandro Bettarini designed this case. I think the man should be held in the same light as Gerald Genta, even if just for this one masterpiece.
PAM915 is nice! Congrats! Gerald Genta designs looks nice but those bezels and especially the screws don’t age nicely when worn. I like banging a PAM into everything, even while doing yard work, because the real reference Panerais can handle the abuse! Have you considered adding a Ulysse Nardin yet? They have never received mainstream praise but UN has some exceptional references to choose from! 14 years is a long time! Congrats! I’ve got you beat…been addicted to mechanical wristwatches for over 30 years now :)
@@IrixGuy I LOVE Ulysse Nardin!! My first UN was a rose gold Classico and I currently have an old 90's San Marco with an exquisite pure white dial that looks like it could be porcelain or enamel, on a beautifully articulating polished steel bracelet. Maybe UN was how I found you. Sorry for the snail mail reply, I'm very old fashioned that way.
Good looking timepiece. Looks well loved and well traveled. Always had a soft spot for Pams.
You da man! By the way, it was a blast reviewing your collection. Which PAM references do you like most?
@@IrixGuy Pam01086!!!
I like the narrative behind the watch!
Thanks so much!
Love my Pam1086! Awesome video man
Nice PAM! It’s hard to beat the classic PAMs like we have. Admittedly I’m not a fan of a lot of Panerai’s latest offerings.
Also, please be sure to subscribe to my channel and check out my Timepieces for Tomorrow video playlist!
IRIX ! Pam ! Match made in horological heavens!
I do like PAM but Jaeger LeCoultre makes a much more refined movement.
@@IrixGuy There is a fix for that! Panerai style, JLC 877 goodness, the PAM 190! I added one to my growing Panerai collection and I think it will be staying in the collection for good. Now I just need to relocate the collection, and my posterior, to a setting like yours and life will be complete. :)
Mine is a 111, good watch.
PAM111 and PAM112 are arguably the two most iconic and two most timeless Panerai references! #Panerai
Beautiful
Thanks! Panerai creates a unique timepiece! #Panerai
Amazing. My 176 says hi!
Fantastic PAM!
What does AC3 think of your watch collection? Is there a review
AC3 would dislike the Ulysse Nardin for sure and he may questions the Chewdahs.
Currently torn between a Panerai and Submariner....quality wise which diver do you prefer??
Don’t pay grey market prices for a Submariner but if you can fetch a Submariner at retail, go for it! A Panerai Luminor PAM00112 or PAM00111 is built like a tank and features proper water resistance. Be careful with current-reference Panerai because most lack proper water resistance. Both are exceptional choices but if future trade-in value if of concern then it’s Rolex all the way!
Is it better to have Manual wind over auto?
A collector needs to have all. It's great to have at least one manual wind piece in the collection.
What was a PAM 00112 value then?
It’s a keeper but when I purchased it from the AD, it had a stronger secondary market value at that time.
These older ETA movmenets DESTROY their new garbage designed for fashion and dorks
PAM00112 is definitely one of the last “true Panerais!”
