I notice how dark the neck tones are so dark when wet but dry so pale! How do you gauge that???
You can check the hue and saturation and adjust the color depth.

I guess he uses dry paper cuz from the beginning he painted the background with lots of water(soaked amount of water in the brush)

does someone know what he used to block color for the fine white lines - is it wax?
He uses flat brush for the hair which is more easy to control on leaving the white space/ line than the round brush. And soak less water in the brush so the paint won’t spread anywhere.
