357 please, keep up the good work!!!
Well done Henry. Now, please make them in a steel version in 357, 44 mag and 45 Colt.
And thread it too! Please!
I fully endorse this request. I WILL buy one when it comes in .44 mag. I can't wait. American made lever action! Too cool!
And 45-70 I'll prepay for one.
adrian barrera the 45/70 is out now
@@FishFind3000 thank you I'm headed to the gun store now.
Make big boy models in 45 colt and 357 with the gate and ill buy it day one....along with most other Henrys haahaha. Honestly though ive never minded loading from the front since im a huge fan if the 1860, but the fact this can load up front, from the gate and has superior fit and finish than any other levergun maker today, makes this, and Henry as a whole the only company to buy anymore. Good job Henry, thanks as always for keeping the levergun alive and well!
Puddin127 the 357 model alone could probably float the company. Glad Henry listened to its consumers
.45 colt is what I want will buy it day one released
Well said. Might need me a second one now!
Yes! 357 and I'm sold!
Absolutely ! Keep up the good work, Henry!
I'll buy my first Henry when I see those same two loading options avail on the 357/38....HURRY UP!!
it'll come soon...
@@logangalloway8105 I sent a question to Henry last weekend...got reply today.....the person that answered me said they know of NO plans....I would imagine Henry wants to see all current stock and parts prior
yea right and when they make it you will have a new excuse or demand and still wont buy because you a cheap skate
@@Physics072 hey "Bob"...BITE ME!!! you have no idea who I am, my resources, or why I want a side gate....like many, you engage your mouth without educating yourself or asking questions, thus showing your ignorant, moranic butt. People like you should not be allowed to procreate....Have a nice day!
@@earnieb5318 They're not likely to share such future plans with customer service. They'll save that kind of juicy news for big releases, preferably Shot Show.
With this, and their passion for the customer and MADE IN AMERICA, Henry will dominate the lever action market. I'm a proud owner of a Brass Single Shot .357 and Big Boy Silver .357 - truly outstanding quality and feel. Looks like I'm getting yet another Henry! Thank You Anthony Imperato & Team Henry.
They finally did it? Wow. Hickok45 can stop complaining. But I don't mind tube loading. I get a kick out of people who praise gate loading then complain about the gate on their Marlin or Winchester.
Thank You Jesus. . . It's about time that old geezer Hickok can quit crying and whining. He has grown long in the tooth with his narrow minded glock opinions
@@geesss8675 Kinda ironic seeing you cry and whining over this.
@@bback74 hes an nra shill
I would love to see an all steel or blued model of this side loading gate rifle
Very excited about this. Holding out for one in 357 though. Don't make me wait too long Henry!
I too want it in 357 magnum and 44 magnum as well.
357/38 in all-weather please. It will match my side-arm. Thank you for making the best all American rifles, beautiful.
Mr Imperato, A color case hardened .45-70 with a longer magazine please! 🤠
Yes!
I've been shopping around for a lever action, and heard about Henry (yes, I'm new). I was bummed they didn't have a side loader. Lo and behold, they do (didn't find out till later as I was doing research). But now I'm bummed it's not in a caliber I want (preferably a .45-70, like you want, also). This would be awesome!
Edit: And, yes, 5 in the magazine is just so little.
@@huyked but they do make a 45 - 70.
@@christopherrobinson8676
I think it might have been in the context of the finish (color case hardened) that they didn't have it.
.357 and you got me for sure but add an all weather version of that as well and I will be overjoyed!!!
Congratulations Henry....Nice job!!
Give them time I’m sure they’ll come out with a bunch of different models shortly after they see how many of these sell! I love that they kept the tube feed also, Gonna have to pick one up!
I will buy this when it comes out in 45/70 and .357. This is awesome that they finally did this.
Super news. Lack of a loading gate is what has kept me from buying a Henry and left the mag tube brass rod intact as well for easier unloading. I foresee a jump in sales.
I honestly and whole heartedly feel that henry is the finest rifle maker on the planet. Thanks henry, good video plinkster.
Make a steel or colour hardened version please
Got to hold one at the gun shop yesterday brand new out of the box. Absolutely beautiful and the action is just like you would expect a Henry to be!
I Already got a 30-30, but I guess I need another one in Brass from Henry! Beautiful and nostalgic, FINALLY!
Glad you folks decided to keep the tube loading mechanism....This sets it apart from all other lever gun manufacturers. Just the fact that the shooter can unload the rifle with out having to cycle a round into the chamber each time to unload is huge!. I’m hoping there will a +p .45 Long Colt in the future. This is good news....thank you!
Thank you Henry. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And thank you for keeping the tube load as well. You guys are one of the best and this will add to it. One of the finest firearm manufacturers in the US. I'm going to work hard towards buying one in .38-55. But if you have one in .38/.357 by the time I'm ready, I'll be all over it. But .38-55 sounds like an outstanding round. Then again....I do have an old Walmart Marlin in .30/30.......might make a decent trade in. Maybe.
Just Got my 8th Henry Rifle and the New Side Gate 410 just come in today .
Wow what a beautiful rifle !
I would love to see a 4570 in the all weather like this
I got to handle a .30-30 model 2 days ago at the NRA show. It felt lighter than my .44 Magnum Big Boy. I really liked the checkering on the forestock.
How about a 357 All Weather Side Gate???
Exactly what I want !,,
for those that don't like the BLING...you are the same ones that drool over the Winchester 1866 ! This is one of the best looking Henry Rifles to date ! Thank you Henry !
I just bought one. I put my name on Davidson's Gallery Of Guns about a week ago, and they contacted me today. I ordered the rifle within 10 minutes of receiving the notification from Davidson's. Can't wait to get it in.
Have owned a Marlin a long time and love it! Never cared for the way Henry's were before. Finally did a side gate. Might look into a henry now
I want a side loading gate 35 Remington in the wildlife addition with the round barrel. They don't make it yet, but I'll buy it when they do!!!
I'm buying one in 44 mag, because they kept the tube loading port also. Great job Henry!
One thing that I always liked about Henry was that it stood out by not having a side loading gate. Of course, that will not slow me down a bit from adding the 30-30 version of this new Henry to my Henry collection. Thanks Dave and Henry.
Thank you Henry!! Will definitely be adding a few of these to the stables!! 38-55 is all goody goodness.
Now make it in an all weather 45-70 please
I'm surprised they didn't start out with the 22LR, 357, 30/30 as I would assume they are their best sellers. What I don't understand is why revive these old dead calibers? Affordable, easy to find calibers are a must for any firearm.
This side gate rifle is presently available in 30/30.
@@DanJ30 I understand I'm just saying that the other two calibers are just if not even more popular than 30/30.
@@Rot05 The 35 Rem will make me buy one, not possible to do this in 22LR
38-55 adds another option from 45-70 or pistol caliber in the straight wall only states.
Its a brilliant business move. These put out the exact calibers of the Marlin 336. many people are unhappy with the new Marlins. I'm looking to buy one because its in 35 Rem - not 22 or 357 definitely not 30-30. .If you need a gun for something besides targets that will take care of anything in the lower 48 the 35 Rem will do it. A 35 Rem handloaded is a 358 Winchester - Look at Buffalo Bore Ammo. 35 Rem and 38-55 are handloader cartridges. Definitely not dead because they work really well, but if you dont reload you wouldnt know that
I was one of those! Good job Henry. living in WI, and owning a Henry 22lr, I was already a fan but couldn't make a move for say a 44 mag essentially because of the non existent side load gate (I realize that it isn't "necessary" but when I have other options that do have side load gate.....). That being said, I hope they make the move to 44 mag, 45 LC, 38/357 etc. Just beautiful rifles and like that they kept the tube mag as well.
This Henry, made in Wisconsin is truly a superior weapon in every way. Thanx Henry for adding the side gate absolutely represents your customer. I purchased in 38/55, which in the perfect round. 30/30 really fadesbafter about 75 yards. The 45/75 is really to much for the vast majority of shooters. This side gate with the old option of tube loading is perfect.
I do not hunt but outdoor target shooting is phenomenal.
Thus is my favorite weapon to shoot by far. You should see the looks I get from the range guys. They just stare at all the brass and walnut tooling and are known know knocked out by this a rifle and round.
You go Henry and than you so muc h
Good job Anthony and the gang!!
Henry, you're about to get a lot of new business. Including me.
Hopefully you will do one in the non traditional (dare I say 336) style stock. I'm sure you will.
Thanks for listening to your community, your pocket books will thank you too ; ]
I’m interested in a custom gun. I’ve always wanted a side loading 30-30 with a full octagonal barrel and case hardened receiver. Honestly they should offer octagonal barrels with every model, it just looks so much nicer
The exact gun I'm hoping for.
I hope an octagonal barrel come out within the next year, I want one as such
Currently in the same boat. I had a .44 Mag with brass receiver and octagonal barrel. Absolutely loved it but it lacked side loading. Recently sold it for $1200 at a gun show
@@RaTeDXPr0DiiGyz I’d like to see them come out with a square bolt gun too. Ejection ports detract from the aesthetic, none of the old west guns had them.
So cool! Love the side load Henry! Now, please introduce the 44 and 357 mag versions.
I have a Henry 30-30 and it's a great rifle, but I would love to have the side gate on it.
Would love to see it in .44 magnum, and .45-70
Any Chance you're planning on expanding the line to include these cartridges?
just noticed your post was 2 years ago, so this reply is probably unnecessary, but in case you haven't looked it up, this does come in .45-70 now. see about 1/2-way down their page (3rd option under "specs") at: www.henryusa.com /rifles/side-gate-lever-action/ (don't forget to remove the added spaces in the address).
@@ee222 Thank you for your reply. I had checked out your site and answered my own question some time after making the post. I've been a fan of lever action since I was a boy and I first fired one. One of the things that I enjoy most about lever action is the sidegate loading that lets you top up while on the range, or out varminting. Haven't done much of either in a while living in the cesspool that is NYC. But my return to civilization is eminent, and I shall be pursuing the matter just as soon as I can.
I just picked mine up yesterday. I couldn't be more pleased with this rifle! It is the smoothest operating lever action I have felt. I got the 30-30 model and it appears to be the 715th one built by the company if you go by the serial number. If they do this for their other calibers, such as 357 Mag, 44 Mag, 45-70, I think I might get rid of my other lever action rifles and just buy Henry Rifles to replace them. Totally awesome!
Now make one with a 26-inch barrel or longer in 45 70
Well done Henry - the best of!
I'll be looking for this in stores. I'd love to see Henry do this with a Mare's Leg.
I love every thing about this rifle looking forward to seeing it in 35 rem
Just bought a 38/55. Can't wait till it gets here!!
Just ordered a side loader in 357! Thank you Henry! Now to see how to get one of your revolvers in Komifornia...
Love it, absolutely gorgeous gun, this is a true heirloom rifle. Now which caliber to choose.
Well done. Now more calibers please, and maybe different reciever choices. Quality, form and now function. Awesome.
Love it. Beautiful job.
Awesome job henry! Just hope you guys come out with a 44 mag or 357 version then I'm in.
Keeping the old tube design upfront was brilliant now you can unload the rifle without having to rack every round through it dropping them all over the bed of your pick up truck or in the field. You can just dump them straight out into a gun case or ammo box. I will definitely be picking up one, just not sure what caliber I want yet and what others they will come out with. I don’t own any Henry’s yet but will be picking up a silver eagle 22 as soon as I have the money saved.
I never minded the loading tube on my Henrys. I have an old Winchester 94 that would be mint but for the scratched loading gate. This is wonderful to have both options and kudos to Henry for choosing old time calibers. Maybe some day a .25-20? Now lets see who will complain that the checkering is laser etched and not cut. Somebody will.
Thank You Henry 😀😊👩🏻💼😎👍🏼
I am waiting on that .357 side gate and I'd prefer blued receiver... but the brass is nice too. Jump on Henry, I'd go order one today if available!
Great concept 👍
Are there any plans to release gate loaders in .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum, .45 Colt, .45-70, and possibly the .410 models? Would love this in .327 Federal Magnum but wouldnt expect that any time soon.
Agree, especially the .327!!!
not going to happen, .327 a bastard round very few people use it.
Nice! Now I'll have to start saving up for one. :)
I really want one in 30-30. But what I want more than that is a side loading gate in 357 in the all weather edition.
'Bout time, I am buying a 30-30 immediately . Man, I'm glad I waited. Thank you .
How much is it where you are getting it?
I am so happy!
id only assume every model will come like this soon enough- which is great especially since you have tube load and side load as options- really like that. but i am dying for an all weather 30-30 and 45-70 with side loading. octagon barrel much appreciated as well- just sayin lol
In 30-30 too. Good job Henry
Would love to see Henry make this gun with brass receiver and side loading gate with wood furniture in 357 mag. and/or 45 long Colt. I would not hesitate to purchase one/or both of these. Do it Henry!
I will finally be getting a Henry.
Great gun. I'm getting a Henry Big Boy in .44 mag soon.
Awesome! Now i need to find a buyer for my Mossberg 464 😉
✌🏼😎👍🏼
How much you want for it?
Finally a Henry I'd want to own.
I have always admired the look of a Henry, but a lever gun with no side gate? Glad to see Henry going in that direction. Waiting for longer version of the .357/.38 model. I was tempted by the big boy x, but am waiting that 20" barrel and 10 round capacity. (A stainless finish with a nice wood stock would be a plus.)
That's probably got to be the most beautiful rifle I've ever seen.
Beautiful rifle! Love it!! What are the chances of the future brining us a version with octagonal barrel?
Looks awesome
Living here in Michigan having a pistol round like 357or 44mag or 45 volt would be a great gun for the lower 1/2 of the state.
It would also be great, if you wanted to keep ones Henry with iron sights, if prep sights were available. Either side mounted or mounted behind the receiver. I have that in a T/C Contender 50cal black powder. It makes that gun a rack driver.
Just a thought, to make your great gun even better
Nice-looking rifle my first thought was a brass frame Marlin lever action
Nice round thanks!
If they make an all weather 45/70 govt. In this version, I will definitely get one. I own 2 Henry's and everyone really enjoys shooting them.
Make this a feature on your tactical model with the Midwest Industries fore end you showed a few months back, the "Henry X." Please! I beg you!
How about that checkering :)
There's just something uniquely American about a good old lever action rifle!
This was actually a no brainer to have it both ways. I'm not sure why they didn't do it from the beginning. But I'm glad they finally did it.
Now, waiting for the 9mm! Great job again Henry!!
9mm ? that is taking the piss
Why would you want it in 9mm??
Both worlds of loading. Trump card played. The beautiful wood work is a big plus as well.
Made in the USA. MAGA !!
Walter Palmer poop head
@@allgodsarefake6044 lol
Not mentioned here is the 410 shotgun version. A beautiful, well-balanced, smooth shooting tool. Recommended!
357 with a blued steel receiver please!!! Great work plinkster
All Weather, side loader, 30-30 and 45-70. I have a savings account for just this.
Noice. Steel or Color-Cased?... and since we're making requests maybe a longer barrel and magazine (24-28"?).
I also want to say that I'm happy they kept the traditional Henry loading system even with the gate.
One in 32-20 would be a great addition ! Any Henry in 32-20 would be great.
This looks great. I'd be even more tempted if it was also available in steel.
Make one in 357 magnum please...
Halaleuja getting a 30-30 and now just need a 44mag and I'm happy.
Would love to see a 28 gauge shotgun from Henry in the future!
YES! Now, I will part with my hard earned money the day Henry makes a side-gate .357 Magnum All Weather. Waiting and counting my cash..
all talk no action
I dunno. Still not quite safe enough... Think it'll be even more safer at my place. Y'all just go on & send it over. I am the most safest of all.
nah I'm pretty damn safe, send it over here henry. :)
More safer?
about time!
Oh my oh my.... Finally, someone is making a viable lever gun in .35 Rem. again! NOW... please, PLEASE give us a more subdued version for hunting!
Man. That is one pretty rifle.
Waiting for .357 and .410. As of today, only waiting for .357. Hooray, Henry!
