I have an ensatiable appetite for some Matt Horn drum tech videos….looks like today I will feed 😲
Hell yes, of course I do. From the first frame of your timeline till the last frame! 🙏
And being a video editor and cameraman for over 19 years now I can honestly say: You are a very talented and skilled person, especially considering the fact that your job is NOT editing videos or shooting videos! 👏👍
But sadly I had to end a video shoot and couldn’t be here when the premiere started…
Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋
Did you shoot video of the Huntington Center/Toledo show? I was at that show
brother food "smacks" or "smacked" music "slaps" or "slapped"
I'm fat, trust me
START TO FINISH CREW WHERE YOU AT?!?! Also Matt I love your vids and appreciate all the hard work you do for Luke and for us! Keep it up dude!
Start to finish crew!
STF CREW !!!!!!!

STF!!
Start to finish crew from day 1
You made a “POV” video where it’s ACTUALLY your Point Of View, instead of just some 3rd-person camera. You earned my approval.
Don't know much about the bands or the drums but this behind the scenes look at a show is fascinating. So much work goes into 3-5 hours of music.
To me personally I’ve never worked something like this but I loved the brief experiences I had, what I did and what this guy is doing is hardly comparable but I helped tear down an out door show in Macon Georgia for something called bear fest and I worked for a while at the grand opera house load in, set up ,tear down, and load out for plays and small musical acts. I didn’t get to travel but still the actual atmosphere and pace and rhythm of the work day were great for me
@@sonnyg960Sonny how was the pay that’s something I’ve wondered
@@ObamaFromKenya it was good for what I was doing at the time, 2012-2013, I came in with no experience and they were paying $11 an hour, but it wasn’t consistent reliable work for where I was, there’s was like a couple shows a month, and it was like Thursday or Friday into like sometimes 3-4am Sunday morning, but a full time gig now I’d think would be pretty decent, this guy is a drum tech so he probably gets paid quite well, I’m sure a lot more than $11 an hour
@@sonnyg960 fascinating, thanks.
These videos just keep getting better and better. So awesome to follow along all day. From the bus, walking around town, checking out the arena to the sound check with Disturbed, where you're actually out front of the PA - you're doing great Matt. Keep up the good work! :)
I really appreciate my drum techs! I hope more drummers watch the great (back and time) saving service you provide. Thanks for finishing on to load out. Well done!
44:10 Mr. Luke Holland. He is an amazing drummer! I didn't honestly know that he was now playing with FiR. That's awesome! Great video!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
33:42 holy shit, "MOMMY DON'T KNOW" scared me.
52:38 Monitors is way harder that FOH. The technology is the same on both, but for FOH, you are responsible for one mix that has to sound good enough to a lot of people that know the songs moderatly well and see the show one time. They don't know if the sound yesterday was different to today, because they weren't there. At monitors, you are responsible for multiple mixes for multiple people, that absolutely know their songs, how they should sound and need consistency from day to day. Plus, at monitors, you are the nearest sound guy when anything happens, so the people-part of the job is even more important
Not harder - just very different!
You've obviously never mixed FOH on a tour in different venues.
Great videos! So glad I found your channel! Start to finish is the best!!!
Thank you for these videos. 🙏 I'm already waiting for the next one 👀

START TO FINISH CREW, your channel came across my feed a while ago and I checked it out, binged all your videos. Now looking forward to all the new ones!!

Start to finish bro. Never back down. Never give up. Thanks for all the hard work in making these videos happen!
I just accidentally “Tripped” over this channel somehow and have watched idk how many videos over the past few hours.. idk jack crap about drums other than I love hearing and watching.. My step son is probably one of the most bad ass drummers I’ve ever known and got me interested in them. I can’t help but seriously tear up every time I watch him play.. it seriously boggles my mind how yall do this so fluently.. I love it!! Thanks for the content. New sub for sure. Stay blessed brother!!
Start to finish is a must for Matt. I like seeing what you do to the drums or don't do. Keep up the videos!
I love these videos. It's my dream to play drums on professional tours so it's so cool to see the all the production and drum tech stuff!! Keep them coming and don't ever stop!!🔥🥁

Nice of you throwing ''In Bloom'' during the Line Check.
It's a great beat to play since it has basically all elements in a short span of time.
I just noticed all the birds chirping and nature sounds!!! Lmao 😂 😂 I’m dying laughing 46:30
I don’t play the percussion, but for some reason enjoy seeing how the sausage is made.

I did start to finish, how could I not?! Great video.
I have an OCD kind of thing, so if I don't watch till the end? I get anxiety. WHOTF knows.
I'm glad to hear people mentioned Vintage Vinyl. When they went out of business, it was very sad.
There are so many great memories of spending a couple of hours there. Spending a lot of $, then hitting the pizzeria.
The highlight was walking over to the metal section and getting hit with the WTF truck by seeing the band I'm in has its own slot.
Great vid as always. Really enjoy what you do.
🤘
Thanks for posting the KC show, a couple of my friends that I work with on events helped you as the union labor, it was fun to see them.
Just saw the tour stop in Evansville, IN thanks for all you do the show was fantastic!
What band?
Always start to finish 🫡🖤

this is fascinating, so much work that you do that most people do not realise. huge responsibility. Cheers 🍻
Start to finish crew 🔥🔥
UA-cam Algorithm brought me here after seeing videos of Gabe Helguera from I Prevail doing his Videos on POV of a Drummer now seeing you as a Drum Tech. Amazing stuff you are uploading here dude! I am learning guitar and figuring out how to get into a band to then finally or maybe one day have the same stuff going on as you in your live but as a musician on the other side sort of speaking. Love seeing what is going on behind the scenes! Keep it up and I am supporting this channel for sure in the future!
Was such a good show, drums sounded clean. The best weather and seeing tech show up again. All around good chill day.
