LAKERS & SPURS WERE BITTER NBA RIVALS IN EARLY 2000'S!!! SPURS SWEPT LAKERS IN 1999. LAKERS SWEPT SPURS IN 2001. LAKERS WIN SERIES 4-1 AGAINST SPURS IN 2002. SPURS WIN SERIES 4-2 AGAINST LAKERS IN 2003. LAKERS WIN SERIES AGAINST SPURS 4-2 IN 2004. LAKERS WIN SERIES AGAINST SPURS 4-2 IN 2008. SPURS WIN SERIES AGAINST LAKERS 4-1 IN 2012.
Kobe won 4-1 in West Finals in 08. Kobe never let Duncan repeat. Kobe 3 peated and repeated twice. Jordan...Russell... Kobe....Mikan can only say that period
Much respect for your shoutouts to Vandal Hearts and Grandia. The original PlayStation was on quite the roll when it came to RPGs. And Konami was on another level not only with Vandal Hearts but also the first two Suikoden games, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Silent Hill, and Metal Gear Solid. What was also impressive about Konami games on PS1 was the sound in these games. The music and sound effects in Konami titles were some of the best in gaming at the time. For me, Grandia represented me finally exploring the PS1 RPGs that didnt fall under Squaresoft or Konami at the time. So it is the source of special gaming memories for me because of that. From there, I then dabbled in Legend of Legaia, Lunar Silver Star Story, Legend of Dragoon, Revelation's Persona, Wild Arms, Breath of Fire III, and Alundra. What a time for JRPGs.
We all thought that, yet look at Tim Duncan's numbers against the Lakers in this series. It's shocking, Duncan had a 34 point, 25 rebound game and no one talked about it or noticed it.
Kobe shot-TOO-many bad shots-OFTEN-and didn't wanna pass the ball when it was needed. And this aggravated his team-mates-MIGHTILY-but,Kobe was too stubborn and selfish to care about their anger or discomfort. He was an arrogant &&&&. LOL.
@@jonnstewart2023huge difference. Duncan faced double teams, kobe was open most of the time because of the double and triple teamming commanded by Shaq.
It's weird to watch basketball from 25 years ago after watching the highly skilled, spread floor basketball of today. Every possession was just such a grind.
@lichg97 😂 look at the offensive sets they're running, there's hardly any off ball movement compared to today, just a bunch of post ups and basline jumpers. Not that I'm complaining cuz it's enjoyable but don't say that this is somehow a more efficient way to play

The possession was grind because the players at the time actually play defense instead of being stat hogs.
Palming, carrying and three steps on drives creates the appearance of skill😊
Backhand compliment?!! 🤔 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Exactly, I'm not a 2000s kid, but it feels weird to watch compared to today's game

And? That was the last great decade of the game. Post around 2010 it is a joke for pussies.
Stop watching basketball. Stick to ballet

Delusional hater lol. I can smell the butthurt from here. Lakers KICKED THEIR ASS and OWNED the early 2000's. Period.
