my friend, Honklol is also top 100 and plays sniper for fun sometimes. Unlike piggy, he hits his shots and top frags. But he says he wouldn’t play it in ranked
Just got into The Finals two days ago. The game is incredible. Every class is so much fun, but really got hooked on sniper. Learned about 10 different things on just this on video. Definitely subbing.

Please dont give me vietnam flashbacks. I just finished the 3k 70m challenge and im looking forward to never suffering through that again.
That challenge single handedly breaks the game. So many players are sitting back trying to complete it, that it ruins gameplay flow. BF 2042 had the same issue. The challenges dictate alot of peoples play style. So everyone is grinding meaningless challenges instead of playing how they want uniquely. Feels like playing with bots.. I guess that's just modern gaming tho

I had to do it while it was 100m. Some maps the challenge was just unplayable
I was lucky enough to run into some players on platform that let me farm my challenge after they realized I was sitting in the back sniping 😂

I solo'd to Diamond with Sniper only season 1. Love the idea of the weapon but the fact that the reticle isn't screen center turned me off of it. Too many times I was strafing and "missing" because the reticle wasn't where the bullet would go. Great gameplay!
You are actually completely wrong. The gun is hitscan. Wherever the reticle is is exactly where the bullet is going that’s why no scoping is so easy in this game.
@@ittorasetsuxx8077not sure about it anymore but certainly in szn 1 the reticle was not accurate to where the bullet would travel. Reticle sway is not much a problem anymore but it was the biggest complaint early game release.
@@ittorasetsuxx8077 Don't sound so confident. It's well documented that strafing left or right with the sniper rifle scoped will cause the bullet to fire screen center but NOT where the reticle is. If you use a monitor crosshair or third party it's clear to see that the firing while moving is not accurate to the reticle despite being hitscan and supposedly no bloom while moving side to side.

Hello, please tell us why you use 1440x1080 and not some other resolution, for example the also popular 1280x960 or some other?
Does 1440x1080 have some hidden advantage? Thank you
its just the highest res 4:3 res on 1080p, easier to see people on higher res
If youre gonna rush people with sniper you should bring the dash. It also needs a fix since when you strafe the shot is inaccurate.
It was a impulsive decision that game, didn't have a dash loadout

@@piggyxddI always say the sniper is perfectly balanced, any more buff would create a sniper meta which is annoying. A good sniper is gamechanging, ppl are just too bad with it and ask for buffs.

Yea sure its good if your A God with it. For the other 99% it’s trash. I have never had a decent sniper teammate in rank. Id rather get penalized for abandoning the match then play with another sniper or lame pistol user.

Stop leading your shots. The sniper is hitscan it has no travel time.
How can you call yourself #1 light while wiffing like that? Saw your previous tournament videos, you even got dominated by another light... The world is large, don't be arrogant.
my bad for not mint-picking all my clips and editing out all the shots i miss? Also in tournaments its more about teamplay rather than individual performance. even if ur really good you cant win if the other team is more coordinated than your team.
@@piggyxdd nah he's right your mechanics are average for an fps game player, with slightly above average tracking skill which i can tell you worked on, very mid movement and everything else. you also over-rely on cloak. you would not thrive in a highly competitive fps game and you know it. this game just doesn't have that much competition because of the amount of cheese present in the game that turns most competitive players off and match-ruining bugs that have gone unchecked. the average finals lobby is a bot lobby for nearly any other fps game lobby that's worth anything
So missing half of your shots and third partying other teams unsuccessfully is high level play? No quick scope/no scope skill, and just spamming gadgets.. the average high level experience.
No wonder this game has like 700 viewers on twitch. Lowest skilled playerbase/FPS on the scene and it’s dying for a reason.
On the flip side at least you’re playing light. The Heavy kids are much worse hiding behind 1000s of HP worth of shields shooting a semiautomatic shotgun for 17 hours a day to retain a leaderboard spot for a game nobody cares about is devious stuff.

And before anybody cries, I liked the video anyway. I played this in the beta/launch week so my feed always gets flooded with content for the game. Sometimes I like to hop in for a few laughs, and these players never disappoint

bro ur out dated heavy auto shotgun is pretty much dead... and mesh shield got nurf and also the glitch reacts to shields on impact so it's pretty easy to counter
also i agree with u i havent seen anything crazy here... the double nade team wipe was cool tho
