    Thanks for sharing your knowledge Nathan, its useful and inspiring as ever. I really love the last set of head and mounts, seems sturdy and compact, i hope you delve into that in the next videos.

    Great tutorial. I was going crazy with my (identical) Andoer version of that budget pano head. (The twist n turn possibilities are ENDLESS.) Saaaay, can you share info on that tripod you're using? The one with the pressure mechanism (hand pressure) to raise or lower the column. Thanks

    Always learn heaps from your films Nathan, thank you. I’d love to know how you set your nodal point, I’ve been using the aligning of two upright poles with some success. Cheers and all the best.

    Why not use the Nodal Ninja R10 or R20 with a lens ring instead of your custom rig? The Nodal Ninja has a smaller rotator, plus with the Nodal Ninja, you can add the Mecha E1/E2 for automated shooting if the room is really tight.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  4 роки тому

      Great question Brendon, there are two reasons: (1) You have to buy a specific ring on the R10/20 for your particular lens, thus enforcing a single-use compatibility issue per setup, which leads to the big reason... (2) Cost. My little-rig costs a small fraction of the R10, and, it's universally compatible with any camera and any lens.

    Hello there Nathan. This is the first time that I encountered a video about the Neewer one, which is amazing. I'm planning to buy in the next few days, but let me just ask you.
    I want to buy it for astrophotography VR panos. I did my first VR pano with just my tripod, didn't have anything to actually do it, and I'm not really that sure why it worked, but then I keep trying in different locations and they never worked again. So, here I am. I have a very stable tripod, and I think I can go a little bit higher for something like the SUNWAYFOTO CR-3015A, but I wanted to ask you, what do you think of it? Both if you let me, the neewer and the Sunwayfoto. Hope you can anser me. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nathan, thank you for this. Could I use my 15mm full frame lens and just take maybe 5 shots instead of 4 to get a 360?

    Is the Neewer pano head good enough quality to get by with? I am now using the Sunwayfoto CR-30C and it is trash. The knobs are too hard to tighten down so my camera always points up slightly. Also I don't think the metal is thick enough because I don't have that heavy of a camera but it sags a tiny bit.

    • @NathanCoolPhoto

      Yes, but buy it, try it, send it back if you don't like it :) Here's the link: amzn.to/3pHPUDE

    I need to know more about Neewer pano head because I didn't find any review for it
    is it the "Best option" around 100$ budget?
    also, is it compatible with sigma 14mm?

      @@NathanCoolPhoto do I need some type of leveler for this thing even if my Canon or six has a built-in one?

    • @NathanCoolPhoto
      @NathanCoolPhoto  3 роки тому +1

      I think you are confusing level with "leveler". A level shows a bubble or virtual horizon to see if you are level. A "leveler" though is a mechanical piece of gear that allows for fine adjustments to level the camera beyond what the tripod legs can do. Here's the link to the "leveler" I recommend: amzn.to/3tZoSLi
