Even as a referee here in the states at the high school and college level...at 15:14 that's 100% a pen if the challenge on Toby in the first half was given. Its a real goal scoring opp as well in my eyes. Pen and a yellow for the #5.
Great win from the boys, and finally the curse is lifted! Definintely should have scored more, so many chances gone begging, but overall the performance was great. I think it is for sure a pen, it's a shove in the back with the elbow just as the shot is about to be taken, Ref probably didn't want to give another pen, but definitely should have. Christou & Cornhill should be our set midfield partnership until PK Humble is back, really enjoyed Sak, Misha & Tobs above them as well, great performance should of had more.
Maybe I am alone on this one, but i really don't think that Higgins is helping the team, I would even say that he is hurting the team, Harrison Day hopefully becomes the new number 9 - just from the first 45 mins we can see that he will fight really hard for every ball. And even change Higgo to Darren or Camilo in the XI and put Misha/ Toby up front
Higgins would be good if the team were dominant and all he had to do was being in and around the box finishing and laying the ball off. He is not helping them when the game is fast and a more chaotic.

I enjoyed the intensity today! The lads looked like they wanted to score. That has to be a pen for me.. we all seem to agree. No body-body contact, was all a forearm shove. There was a lot of calm-ness about their play but they still had the volume turned up. We probably should've had 3-4 more goals.. I think a few of those longer range efforts could've used the tap in option on the opposite side, but you can't blame the attackers for shooting lol
i like what i see from Joe Christou. Think this team needed an engine in the midfield who just full sprints after everything and everyone. passes and the few shots he had look also very solid. Could be an important player for the Tags.
