Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. I've just watched highlights of the whole game, I don't need to see more of the same highlights. I would much rather watch the celebrations after a penalty shootout win away from home.

@@MrClarky1 Are penalties not a part of the match? Is the match finished at a 1-1 draw so they can have penalties for fun? Of course not. Penalties shootouts are a part of the game it of course deserves to be factored into account.

If Max doesn’t have blood on his shirt he doesn’t have to go off because the physio hasn’t come on, so that’s a weird decision by the ref in its own right. To not make the other guy go off is mind boggling!!

@@nathanchappell9572 Max is stood there righty by corner flag and doesn’t appear to be checked my the physio, then comes straight back on after the goal so I’m guessing there was no blood
@@dsg45post match vid he explained there was a bit of blood where the impact of the head clash was, but he just wiped it away off the pitch so physio wasn’t required.
The ref had a final bet in the acca on a 95th minute blood injury in this game. Can't blame the fella, the other 4 had come in and he's Lucas Pacqueta's brother!

@@AH00-f3s Dulwich Hamlet are in South London. Hashtag play in Tilbury in Essex. There’s a big difference in population between these two. Also Dulwich being in London it’s easier to get to from pretty much everywhere else in the UK compared to Essex due to public transport links.

De Ligt’s head was gushing with blood. A bit different.

The yellow was for wrestling the ball of the keeper with his hand. But how did that player not get a red card or even a booking after the deliberate stomping of Sak's foot is outrageous
Because sak moved his foot in the path of the players step quite simple
Wrestling the ball out of the keepers hands is unsporting behaviour and a mandatory yellow card. Simple. Just don’t do it.

I've been critical of Cuba, especially earlier in the season. He has legitimately made phenomenal progress, and I want to give him props for that. I'm sure he heard the rumblings and has actively worked on and improved his game. That in itself speaks to his character and spirit. My respect, and keep up the phenomenal work, Cuba! My man of the match today!

Fantastic from the boys, this is how we have to play in the league, we looked unbelievable, I would like to know why he told him to go off the pitch, I understand if there was blood on his head or something, but it appears he didn't have any treatment, so doesn't make alot of sense. Big win just some feedback really, this season don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes but the episodes are very basic nothing much short aswell we all here love hashtag because it’s different from your ordinary team I could type in Dulwich Hamlet on UA-cam and see the exact same video just you show a team talk they don’t go back to original videos from last season and before but big up for the win again would have loved to see the celebration at the end

Team was superb today. Ref was bought and needs a relegate to sunday league. That guy that stomped on Sak's foot deserves a 5 match suspension. Ridiculous. Btw I love Stamps but having the S-boys on commentating is the best. What an entertaining game to watch

14:01 One for the coaches out there. Off the ball covering defender sort of stuff. Attacker beats the first defender, closest (covering defender) is marking the player in the next most likely to be a danger. Covering defender leaves player he’s marking (as covering that’s technically the correct choice), but that leaves the player he was marking in space (and that’s who the player he’s now defending against passes to).
Question is, who is the player that should have moved to fill the gap? If anyone. I think a Premier League team would know automatically, but at this level it’s not something I’d expect as it’s something you’d have to be drilled on a lot to instinctively know, because as we know, every defender that moves is leaving space where they vacate to cover.
It’s like a real life jigsaw puzzle. Maybe the beaten player had enough time to drop back and cover there 🤷♂️

Having watched it again the issue was with the first defender dropping off, which caused the covering defender to have to press. Leaving his man in space.

Glad the contraversial equaliser didn't affect the result. Hopefully you can send off the clip of their 4 stamping on Sak to the right authority too. That player needs a ban and more importanly a fine, there is no place for that at any level of football. Overall though, brilliant result!
