Thanks! I listened to your pov like I would with a podcast. I’m thinking of buying a used Rivian and wanted to know all the early adopters experiences and issues.

I have a Model 3 and I would actually prefer a R1T over Cybertruck. Hopefully in the future the R1T prices can drop a bit because $90k for a vehicle is way too high for us.

Heard numerous comments on the seats being too hard, especially for longer trips. Any thoughts? Thx

I haven’t had issues with that on 3+ hour trips to be honest

I've taken my truck from CA to OR, it's about 15hrs one way. I take my truck out to the desert pretty frequently; those trips are usually about 2-3hrs one way depending on L.A. traffic. I have pretty bad back pain from years of Jiu-Jitsu. It's honestly the best seats I've sat in... coupled with the soft air suspension it's not an issue at all (for me).

32:00 Q: How does ride height affect tire wear? Is the change in height affecting toe and camber? Makes no sense to me. My Lexus SUV had adaptive suspension and it did not affect tire wear whatsoever.

Correct, the toe and camber changes which causes the wheel to wear uneven in certain areas. This type of thing also happens on the Model X

I’ve had numerous Tesla and also an R1T. The build quality on the Riv far exceeds the Teslas. The Model Y in 2020 had a lot of issues with latches, Fit and finish and gaps. My Rivian had none of these. Also, Rivians warranty on both vehicle and battery also exceeds Teslas.
