People underestimate how strong a bond can form between an animal and a human. After years and years looking after many cats and at least one dog, I can say it's distinctly profound.
The better you treat them, the more likely they will remember you and respond kindly to you.

I'd like to add that if you respect them, they will respect you. To show respect, pay attention to their body language to determine whether they want attention from you when you want to give it to them or if they don't. Waiting to give them attention on their terms shows you respect them as another living being, and they will be more inclined to do what you ask of them, too.

It's just incredible to me how a lioness could remember her friend from so long ago. She reacted almost as though it was just yesterday that they saw eachother. Heartwarming....it really is.
It is amazing I agree, but these animals must have the same "memories" as dogs and cats. You can be gone an extended time from dogs and cats and when you return they ALWAYS remember you, guess that's the same with ALL ANIMALS...so awesome! ♥️

There was a minute there that Chiara was sucking on his jean leg. I love all animals, birds , but cats... When THEY are in need of showing their affection for you, they almost seem like children, hugging, kissing and rubbing to get your scents mixed as much as possible!
Felines can't be trained like Canines. They really are unique and I remember every single one I've had and loved.
You know I'm a grown 41 year old man, but if I could see my father again, that's exactly how I would feel.😭

Did you not see where it said other caregivers would not go into its enclosure? Why do you think that is? Like I said this lion is NOT a tamed house cat. This is how people get into trouble with wild animals thinking that the animal is tamed and would never hurt them.

My tears are just rolling down my face to see the love that an animal has for human being and vice versa. I've been supposed to have surgery a long time ago especially during this covid time the reason that I've neglected myself and not have the surgery is because I don't know how to let my little Shih Tzu I've left it before and no one knows how to feed her the right way or clean her eyes the right way and she gets sick when I leave her she's so attached to me. I believe I neglected myself so much that I might not have any remedy for my ailment. I should have never done that cuz she needs me and maybe 3 weeks away from I wouldn't hurt her I did the wrong thing. I pray to God that after I make it in there everything will be okay and I could be there for she suffers so much when I'm gone.

This brought tears to my eyes. Such a beautiful thing to see a lioness, who was loved and nurtured, she remembered her human and the same love was returned, shared.
How wonderful she is shows her affection to him she never forgot him.
Kiara & Adolfo will always have this loving Bond. Because the way he raised her, he never hurt her and never let her go without food. He always spent loving quality time playing with her and showing her kindness. She may never ever treat another human like she does Adolfo, but they will aways have this bond, that nobody will ever turely understand. I would really love to follow more of their story and see whatever he's got on her when she was younger and he was raising her. So if there is a website for them, please let me know. If only all Humans could treat all animals, domestic, Wild and farm life like this, the world would be a much better place and maybe we would know how to treat each other, with more kindness and compassion ❤️. And you can clearly see how excited the other cats were by Kira's expressions and playfulness and they soaked it up. Those cats Knew someone important had come to visit.
The lioness no doubt thinks this man was her mommy - so of course she was thrilled to see him. I love these big cat whisperers - who work with animal sanctuaries and the big cats seem so gentle and loving around them. If it was me, my throat would have been ripped out in 2 seconds......I'm glad he got to go back and see her and love up on her some.....Those cats are so beautiful.

I don’t dislike the VIDEO. I dislike the script & narration - like it’s intended for 1st graders. Which would be fine, if it was labeled as such.
People dislike it because they took this video and added a ridiculous narration to it, stretching it out so they could stick more ads in. The actual video of the man and the lion are great. What little you actually get to see of it. The rest is terrible.

@@tonks78 they have scent glands on their head to mark members of the pride, especially their babies. They also have scent glands on their paws, their paw pads have the glands as well and when they lick/kiss you they are marking you that way as well. With their saliva has something that when it dries it becomes dander and their babies smell like mama cat because she is still cleaning them until can do it on their own.
