I started crying when you talked about Bella, losing a pet is the worst feeling ever. I’ve lost 4 cats and 1 dog. We got 4 more cats and I’m terrified of them being gone. May all of your deceased friends and family rest in peace

my family sold almost all of our pets last year, but including a dog, sugar gliders, and my bunny. it was and still is so hard on me, but i can’t imagine losing them to death. i’m so, so sorry to anyone out there struggling. i’m always here if you need to talk. 💗
Why did they sell them?
My parents had to give away my bunny almost a year ago and it’s crazy to me because it doesn’t feel that long ago. I miss him so much and no one understands
@mizuhashi miharu my family had to give away our two puppies, winter and ceaser. They didn’t get along with our Rottweiler. And since he was a big dog and plays roughly. Those two would absolutely piss him off, they always barked at him and were very loud when we brought him home, they kept on trying to pounce on him and attack him. He’s not a bad dog, he’s a good dog. Ceaser was given to my dads friends kids, they are quite a wealthy family so there taking good care of him. Winter was given to my grandmothers younger brother, Winter is now a farm dog. I miss them but I’m so lucky to have had both of them in my life. I love Whiler too so much he’s the rottweiler. A two year old named him. His last owners kids did. It’s the only name he answers to. I’m so glad that I know that Winter and Ceaser are okay and are doing well.
@@splendidcinnamon5340 they sold my dog because he didn’t get along with my other dog at all, and required a lot more physical activity, which was hard for my family. we sold my bunny because he was becoming more of a chore to take care of instead of a fun thing to do. i’m not exactly sure why we got rid of the sugar gliders

I lost my friend to suicide 2 years ago, I still miss him every day and cry when I think about him but I know that he is in a better place now.
this came up on my recommendations and i am truly sorry for your loss, losing a pet is one of the worst feelings in the universe as much as losing a human family member. you will pass through this and you will never be alone. i have a pet bird named yuki and she is a month away from turning one year old, i will definitely appreciate her more while she is here
it is so hard loosing your childhood dog, trust me. I lost mine back in December and I still cry about him at least once a week. Just knowing they are no longer in pain brings me a lot of peace.
Same. Lost mine in November after 15 years. Got him when I was a child. And lost my gen or a grandfather today. I haven't got out of bed or stopped crying. This isn't fair.
Rhea G same, my grandma died last year on March 8 and I put my dog down on November 16. Also my mom’s aunt (we were getting closer) died on March 25 this year. But I can tell you it gets better, cry all you want! I send love to you ❤️

I lost mine when I was 7 but I got a new dog in 2019
Same, i also lost my 12 year old dog back in December and it was on my birthday, we had him since i was like 6 or 7 years old and it still hurts to this day whenever someone mentions him or how he used to be when he was alive or even seeing his pictures makes me cry so much, i just hope he's no longer in pain and in peace.

My mom is currently on hospice and doesn’t have more than a few weeks left. I don’t think it’s a coincidence this was in my recommended. I’ve lost my grandpa, grandmother and uncle in the past year. I’m so sorry for your losses. Prayers for you 💛

@@paparia821 hi, I lost my grandpa this afternoon, I know it’s not the same as what you discribed but it just hurts so much to think that he isn’t here anymore and that we won’t see him sitting at the table when we go to visit them, to think he won’t be on Christmas, Easter,... and bcs if corona we had to miss 2 years of Christmas and Easter and New Years with them so it just makes me so angry bcs we could’ve had so much more time with him if corona didn’t exist

This came up in my recommended and I figured I’d watch since I’m grieving as well. I lost my mom almost 6 months a go and I’ve also lost my grandmother, grandfather, a cat, and a dog. i just want to say thank you for making this. i, too, lost three family members but it was all at once due to a tragedy. this is so helpful to my grieving process knowing I’m not the only one (besides my family members)
I feel very sorry for you, my dog, Emma, also passed away a few months ago, we had her for 15 years, since I was 5 years old, and losing her really was like losing my dearest friend.

I need this. I lost my mom, dad and my adoptive mom who was my biological aunt before the age of 16. It was the worst part of my life. I’m getting through though. I’m 19 now and i’m happy. everyday is not easy and there isn’t any advice on how to get through it. Thank you for this love. I appreciate you sharing this so so much

your grandma was so beautiful! i lost my sister last march due to suicide, was definitely the hardest thing i have been through. i lost my dog chico 2 years ago, we had him for 8 years. life really isn’t easy sometimes and we just have to stick together and pull through. i’m sorry for your losses, i’m sure they all had beautiful souls. thank you for sharing with all of us🥺😭

I’m so sorry sweetgirl. In the midst of pain and loss give yourself lots of time and grace to heal. It’s okay to not be okay. My mom was diagnosed with cancer in February. We were told she had 4-5 months but lost her 2 weeks later. It was very unexpected and it’s something I’ve realized you just learn to carry. When you feel sad let yourself cry and be honest with where you’re at and when you’re reminded of your loved ones take that moment as a “hello” from them. Enjoy that moment 🧡 and take it as a blessing.

I feel this so much, my dog died two months ago. We have had her for 13 hears (so my entire adolescence, I’m 23 now). Really felt like I lost part of my soul, 10.000 tiles worse than I imagined it would be, she was really the best pet ever. I still remember when we visited the person we got her from and my dog opened her eyes for the first time, when I was looking straight at her. I never felt all alone afterwards, there was always this feeling of her presence, especially when I struggled with health issues and because of bullying in HS. When we had to put her down, I was also the last person who she made eye contact with. And I just felt her presence slip away, it was the most insane thing I have ever felt.

i’m so sorry for your loss and i feel you :( my dog is still alive but he’s in his last few years. i got him as a gift on my 6th birthday and i’m currently 16 turning 17. he’s also rly sick :(( we’re trying to help him as best as we can but because his body isn’t in top shape because of age it’s rly not doing anything. i’m jus trying to enjoy my last few years with him as much as i can 🙃 i remember a few years ago he bit into a frog and got poisoned, started frothing and i broke down cause he had supposedly already died since he was unconscious and not moving but when i woke up the next day he was fine :) he’s a strong pup i love him with all my heart and i hope when his time comes he rests easy
@@aeoies thank you! Most likely, you are going to be at University or have apprenticeship/job responsibilities when it happens. The only advice I can give you: If possible, home to your dog to say goodbye and accompany them. I almost didn’t drive home/didn’t have the opportunity because of internship and job responsibilities and even though it created some atrocious scheduling issues in hindsight (causing me to be the most stressed out in my entire life in late February/March and almost fail out of my degree), I would ALWAYS decide to do so again and say goodbye. Almost didn’t go home and I would probably never have forgiven myself to miss out on her last moments.

Hey girl. I kinda know how you feel. 2 years ago I lost my grandmother, then 2 weeks later I lost an Uncle, then literally exactly 2 weeks later again, I lost another Uncle. Remind you that I’m in college struggling mentally, those deaths really did effect me and everyday I would cry while driving to class.

I'm sorry about your losses. I understand how you feel. I lost 3 grandparents in the last 14 months: may 2020, february 2021 and june 2021. All of them died a during my end of semester exams and it was/is tough. I wanted them to be at my graduation and I blame myself for not having studied harder. I was always alone as well. My family lives in another country as I study abroad. I also recently broke up with my gf of 3 years so that definitely didn't help. I've pulled through but I know this summer will be tough. It'll be the first one without my grandmas.

Losing a life is always difficult and sad. but the fact that a human or animal body can create a life, yet we cant get a hold of a soul or see what actually a soul is, its such a weird thing to think about and just that makes me trust that's there's 100% life after this. I lost my dog (who I had my whole life) when I was 13, so 10 years ago. I still think of that dog every day, and I remember that the first 1 to 2 years after losing my dog I had 0 happiness. It slowly came back and nowadays when im sad and think about it, the thought of believing that I will see everyone I lost again, makes me a little more happy. even if its going to take 70 more years, just the thought of that we will reunite makes my heart happy.

For some reason, i blame myself why my dog died (mom says not my fault but..) we couldnt afford vet because of pandemic and fees for medicine for my grandma.. i just ask advices on pet groups what to do and what to feed him damn, i hated myself last year i really love my dog and i couldnt do shit but mourn... my heart aches for these angels.
I promise you its not your fault :) just through your comment alone, I can tell that you love your dog so much and would never do anything to hurt him. my cat that I had for years was hit by a car and he had to be put down last summer. I remember blaming myself for no reason. I guess it just feels better to be angry at someone when grieving, and a lot of times it ends up being ourselves. but no matter how much blaming we do, it will never truly be our fault. you did all you were capable of doing and gave him the best thing a dog could hope for, a loving home.

She’s serious; hug your animals. I watched this around 6 something in the morning after interacting with my sweet baby cat boy. By 8am he was gone. I feel the pain. I lost 4 family members in the beginning of 2023, and lost 7 or more family members in total in just 2023. I’m 13 and it wasn’t easy losing them. It was hard to move on because just thinking about it killed my heart so much. It’s not always been easy because even when I was 5 years old I lost someone so close to me. I was sad for a little bit but now that I’m older, it’s harder. Even when Covid happened I lost my aunt. That hurt me so much because my dad lost his sister who he loved so much and I never see him cry so when he did it was terrible. I was 10 and felt like everything was over. I then realized it wasn’t and continued to push on and be happy like she wanted me to. If you ever lose a family member, think about all the memories you had with them and do things that make you happy. That’s how I’ve been doing it. Love you so much McCall. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This is why my mom doesn't want me to get a dog. Ill get so attached to it that if it passes, Il almost would never recover.

my cat (ive never spent a day of my life where she wasnt my cat so ive had her since birth) recently passed away at almost 16 years old. i miss her and loved her so much. i miss her fur, i miss hugging her, and i miss seeing her everyday. rest in peace baby. :)
