Funny, I was just listening to Bonded by Blood. I just got a lefty Ironbird made to order from China, $500 with shipping. My first BC Rich ever. Love it.
@@denialoflife1413haha I don’t really do review vids, maybe we’ll see. Still setting it up, gotta find time to change the strings, pickups, all that. I’m more into arranging riffs.
That's what I really love about the 80s and 90s tube amps. They have that articulation. The ampeg vl I def need to try that. I have to make more vids of the crate stealth 50 I have as well
@@denialoflife1413 i agree, with the Ampeg it has two gain controls and when you turn them both up the amp gets almost fuzzy in a cool way and the pinch harmonics have this unique screaming characteristic and the feedback sounds unique as well. I describe it like souls of the damned being channeled through the amp it just has a weird haunting quality. There's also a 5 way mid frequency selector so it can be more mid forward hot rod Marshall or scooped as hell perfect for old school thrash and death metal. Kyle Bull has some good demos of them on his channel, one dual channel model and a single channel model but the single channel doesn't have the mid selector. If you wanna hear one in context of song check out Helena by The Misfits. Can't recommend that amp enough, a bit sketchy but some mods fix that its nothing too different than amps like the 5150 experience with shitty plastic connectors
What's weird about the body is the neck goes further which obscures upper fret access and it doesn't have that pointy bevel on the top horn, I believe the neck is from a mid 90s BC Rich, when they had bolt ons but with the proper sized headstock and diamond inlays, now we get a puny headstock and a 24th fret inlay which I hate.
@mikerauter1859 thanks dude! What are they Eb tuning? I wanna learn there first couple albums. Weird I see a randall and gk250ml on there early live pics
Did you paint it with nitro???? If its light its probably basswood. I had 1980 (first year of imports for electrics for Bernie. Acoustics started in 78) MIJ pearl white w/gold hardware Ironbird with cream DiMarzios and a built in pre amp. Sick guitar. Yours is sick though. Its giving Rutan vibes.👍😉
Are you running the old Peavey 4×12 that came with the VTM? I have one. The head is a VTM 60 from the 80's. I've been running my PRS MT-15 through the 4×12 and im digging it. Curious if you have the same cab. Looks just like mine, missing the Peavey logo as well!
@saltpeter7429 if actually is! With the g12k85s. It's a bit more neutral sounding but I love it with the g12t75s especially older ones... it gets that thrash sound real nice and easy
Nice looking Ironbird. Always liked them since I saw Abbath in Immortal playing them.
dude when you going to make some more ltspice pedal vids?? you are the man!!!!
@@vincemcman4086 , yeah, I know. I had gone back to one of my videos to see how much Analog Devices changed LT Spice's original versions.
Wow you can't go wrong with Peavey VTM or Bandit! Lethal tone brings back great rehearsal and gig memories! Great job man 🤘😝🤘
this amp sounds like this without a boost? holy shit. great song choices as well, fantastic upload.
I have a 1986 BC Rich NJ series Ironbird. It was my first guitar. Still have it.
( Cool DEATH shirt. )

@luciferdzhugashvili dude! Make a review vid can't wait!

nice tone
Killer Ironbird and killer amp!
Love the pinch harmonics on this amp! Reminds me of my Ampeg VL.

@TheGreatBaronOBeefDip good observation! Yeah it's a weird deal with the last 4 frets but it works with the neck and sounds decent.
Unbelievably good live sound bro. Are you a fan off and if so could you play a Deicide riff or two from their debut record?
@mikerauter1859 thanks dude! What are they Eb tuning? I wanna learn there first couple albums. Weird I see a randall and gk250ml on there early live pics
Bro your playing and this chanel is a gem for keeping the OSDM sound alive! Yeah deicide are in E flat. @@denialoflife1413

The real question is what dip switches are engaged? I love the vtm. I use one as well. Get rad thrashy grind tones with it. Cheers!
🤘🤘
VTM’s sound so good. What are your pick up and boost?
Altering the...futureee!
