I watched everything on this list except Avatar and Dick Turpin. Some of them I stop after a few episodes. Best is 3 body problem and Shogun. Walking dead TWOL is also excellent. Mr and Mrs Smith and Ted are the 2 I stop watching. Reacher S1 was not bad but I am not really interested in S2.
First show I've actually "binged" in a long time was The Gentlemen...absolute blast! Couldn't watch anything else till I made it through! Will be moving on to Shogun soon. Thanks for the List! 😎 👍

Richard Chamberlain was in the 1980 miniseries. Cosmo Jarvis plays Blackthorne in the new series. I wish the original series was available to stream also.

Just a note; Donald Glover's 2024 version of Mr. & Mrs. Smith is NOT modeled after the 2005 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie movie even thought it was wrongly marketed as such. It is really based on the 1996 short lived TV series of the same name staring Scott Bakula and Maria Bello. For those that loved the Pitt and Jolie movie expecting a similar story line will be very disappointed.
What I read said it’s “officially” based on the film but “unofficially” had ties to that 1996 show but it said they wanted to tell there own unique story just use the conceptual ideas
I stopped watching that after 2 episodes.. does it get better after that or is the show just not for me? people prase it a lot so wanted to give it a try, otherwise I would have stopped after the first episode

Definitely agree with the Shogun and 3 Body Problem. Both are awesome options but someone in the comments on a prior video recommended Blue Eye Samurai to me, and wow so good. Awesome art, crazy story, great voice acting and not to quote you but a banger.

The Gentlemen is great too but not quite as good as Shogun, but for arguments sake and to be different I do think Masters of the Air was one I couldn’t stop watching and the new Fallout show is pretty amazing too. (Not a Fallout expert or hardcore player) but it has cool characters, immersive world and is slightly weird af which I tend to enjoy
Loved brothers Sun. Funny and witty. Ted is so funny. 😂3 body problem was very good. Took some time to get to the point on what’s happening. But very riveting
I really like shogun, it’s a point in time I really enjoy along with just a superb overall show, and 3 body problem is really good and I liked this season but what excites me most about it is how it just got me so pumped to see what’s coming in the future too

I just finished binge watching 3 Body Problem yesterday and WOW I thought it was great. It's a pretty wild plot/storyline and I couldn't stop watching it, each episode just left me wanting more and it thoroughly kept my attention throughout. I love all the characters too. I think they are did a fine job. And so glad my 3 favorite characters of the group are still alive. Auggie, Saul, and Jin. Can't remember his name at the moment but I really like the Asian cop/P.I guy too. Can't wait until we get a season 2.
I do agree, I really liked it. I am excited to see where it goes. I didn't remember his name either lol but Benedict Wong is an awesome actor and I like him in this, so I looked it up and its Da Shi.

Its a decent show, but the Hawthorne actor is really annoying with his montone "hard voice". Very good production value, but not as good as the old series for me
There are so many great options it is honestly hard to choose! Netflix has a decent amount but if I was going to recommend a second option it would probably Amazon then Hulu just because of the added advantages to those two.
I have officially started Resident Alien, it is weird, funny, witty heartfelt and keeps you engaged. Definitely to be added to a future list like this. 👍👍

Dang I really like the actors they brought together for this one and Amazon always pumps money into their series so the production value I thought was good. I will agree its not the #1 on the list but I still felt like it had enough for me to enjoy. But to each their own, that's why I try to include lots of different options. So I am glad the others worked better for you!
I just hate these new TV shows that show texts on the screen as if I'm supposed to be able to read that text from 15 ft away in 3 seconds time. That's the main reason that I stopped watching it 2 episodes in. They should have the reader of the text read it in their head or something so I can hear it not just see it on the screen

Reading through the comments is a good source of highly rated series that I may have missed. But I’m finding something unusual 😂. I’ve seen them, but because there have been so many, I’m left wondering whether I watched the shows through to completion of that season or whether I got distracted by another highly rated series 😂😂😂

The premise of One Day is not unique. The 1978 film, Same Time Next Year starring Alan Alda and Ellen Bursten has the same premise. This couple meet every year for an adulterous few days and the audience catches glimpses of their relationship and their relationships outside this weekend. It film setting is intimate, and the narrative happens over years until the inevitable.
It’s also based on a 2011 film and 2009 novel that are the identical concepts but I’m saying unique in the sense that it’s not typical or that it unusual in this type of show to only depict one day not that it’s never been done before.

The LATE Richard Chamberlain was Brilliant in his version over 40 years ago BUT 50% of viewers were not alive then, I of course was. That was after his Count of Monte Cristo.
I have not watched season 3 of resident alien yet so I do try to stick to what I have watched when putting these together. If it’s as good as the first two seasons definitely deserves a place on here
Mr and Mrs Smith was a remake that Brad and Angie did better, One day sounds like the movie “Same time next year” with Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn in which the lead actors meet at the same place on the same day once a year until there is only one of them left (the acting was incredible), this version of Reacher and it’s lead actor are the best. I have read most of the books and saw the underwhelming version helmed by an actor with the initials T. C.
Someone else mentioned same time next year to me. Honestly did not see it so it felt real fresh to me when I saw one day but it sounds like it had a ton of similarities. But Reacher ugh, such a good show. I feel like Alan Ritchson just fits this character so well and for a variety of reason it’s just better than the movies.
Haha I never really thought about it but I absolutely could see Noel Fielding having the dick Turpin outfit in his closest or wearing it to an interview or just maybe dinner lol
Definitely an awesome option, wrote it down for the future cause it’s worthy of being on one of these types of list but this video was for things released/finishing in the first part of 2024. Justified City Primeval was released last year and wrapped up in August.
I actually had Expats on my list but I didn’t get to it in time for this video. My mom really loves that one and told me to watch it I just haven’t had the time yet. But it’s definitely something I’m checking out
@@TheBingeList99 Many viewers went in thinking it is a murder mystery and dislike the ending. That is not the main premise of the show. The show is about how Hong Kong, the expats, the helpers, the students and so on. It is also about aftermath of tragedy and how different people deal with it.
@manyue2003 the trailer definitely gives that kind of feel but my mom said the same thing so I will definitely be watching and including in future content. My problem I am running into lately is just finding time to watch all this good stuff and still make content around it lol

I saw that Disney kylo Ren bs shirt and was worried but surprised me in a good way. Thought ahhh must be his gfs until master cheeks, SMH fallout is a wayyy better video game adaptation.

Richard Chamberlain was a sixties, 70 and eighties star mostly TV and was very handsome. His first 60’s show was Dr. Kildare. Back in the 80’s tv would due mini series. Shogun was hugely successful, the book was a bestseller at that time.

If you like Lost and don’t mind a bit of horror From is pretty incredible. I also really enjoyed Dark on Netflix, it’s crazy and weird but a great story.

The best part of the Smiths is the 2005 style opening scene. After that, it's not worth watching.
The 2024 series is far superior to the shallow, superficial 2005 movie. The show was phenomenal.

Reading through the comments is a good source of highly rated series that I may have missed. But I’m finding something unusual 😂. I’ve seen them, but because there have been so many, I’m left wondering whether I watched the shows through to completion of that season or whether I got distracted by another highly rated series 😂😂😂

shogun is superb
The premise of One Day is not unique. The 1978 film, Same Time Next Year starring Alan Alda and Ellen Bursten has the same premise. This couple meet every year for an adulterous few days and the audience catches glimpses of their relationship and their relationships outside this weekend. It film setting is intimate, and the narrative happens over years until the inevitable.
It’s also based on a 2011 film and 2009 novel that are the identical concepts but I’m saying unique in the sense that it’s not typical or that it unusual in this type of show to only depict one day not that it’s never been done before.
Richard Chamberlain is NOT in this new version of Shogun. He was in the 1980's original version with Toshiro Mifune.

Really enjoyed Halo.
Mr and Mrs Smith was a remake that Brad and Angie did better, One day sounds like the movie “Same time next year” with Alan Alda and Ellen Burstyn in which the lead actors meet at the same place on the same day once a year until there is only one of them left (the acting was incredible), this version of Reacher and it’s lead actor are the best. I have read most of the books and saw the underwhelming version helmed by an actor with the initials T. C.
Someone else mentioned same time next year to me. Honestly did not see it so it felt real fresh to me when I saw one day but it sounds like it had a ton of similarities. But Reacher ugh, such a good show. I feel like Alan Ritchson just fits this character so well and for a variety of reason it’s just better than the movies.

Definitely an awesome option, wrote it down for the future cause it’s worthy of being on one of these types of list but this video was for things released/finishing in the first part of 2024. Justified City Primeval was released last year and wrapped up in August.

@@TheBingeList99 Many viewers went in thinking it is a murder mystery and dislike the ending. That is not the main premise of the show. The show is about how Hong Kong, the expats, the helpers, the students and so on. It is also about aftermath of tragedy and how different people deal with it.
@manyue2003 the trailer definitely gives that kind of feel but my mom said the same thing so I will definitely be watching and including in future content. My problem I am running into lately is just finding time to watch all this good stuff and still make content around it lol
Fargo is awesome...the characters from S1 to S5 just so well performed. One of the best series I’ve ever watched.

Reall!!! halo show did an awesome job???? I don't remember a talkative, emotional, and boringly nude master cheeksin halo series. I saw that Disney kylo Ren bs shirt and was worried but surprised me in a good way. Thought ahhh must be his gfs until master cheeks, SMH fallout is a wayyy better video game adaptation.

Richard Chamberlain was a sixties, 70 and eighties star mostly TV and was very handsome. His first 60’s show was Dr. Kildare. Back in the 80’s tv would due mini series. Shogun was hugely successful, the book was a bestseller at that time.
