Kyosho currently doesn’t have any ring gears in stock, but thankfully they’re sending a new differential our way so we should be back in action soon! I appreciate you checking it out John; a great weekend to you and your family!👊😊✌️
Interesting it busted the metal gear in there. I may have to check the slipper on mine as well! Hopefully the string of busted stuff is done for you for a while and but it does seem to pile up at times! Take care and have a great week!
First time I’ve ever broken a ring gear!😂 Oh well, they come in bunches apparently!🤣 Once repaired, I may need to not jump this one so much…I can’t help but wonder if that brushless system is too much for this chassis.🤔 Thanks a lot Addam and a great week to you as well!👊😊✌️
I was surprised to see a metal spur gear! I’ve never before broke a ring gear before; I suppose there’s a first time for everything!🤣😂 Thanks for watching Dirk!👊😊✌️
I haven't seen that too often but I have seen it a lot with my Losi Mini LST (2007), however, that was my fault, I ran a 9,000kv brushless motor on 2S. Thats an easy fix but a lot of wrenching to get to the diff, I hope Kyosho will do something for you... Strange wheel hexes too!!!!!
WOW that may have been a faulty gear? Hope they give you the shaft bevel gear also it would be best to replace them both... Man bad luck you sure got that right!
Yeah, maybe it was faulty….I’ll be surprised if they send a new one. Either way, I’ll get it patched up and probably won’t run it as much as I had planned….or at least won’t jump it as much. Many thanks Steve, take care!👊😊✌️

I have a brushed kyosho mad van and several youtubers have complained about the brushless version (is it possible that a factor in breaking the differential teeth could be the little grease that kyosho puts in their cars?) as many people complain about the differentials of this truck, a pair of internal gears are sold to reinforce the differential, it is recommended to grease the truck well before running it, greetings
I can’t help but wonder if the power of the motor is too much for the chassis…the brushed Rage I had awhile back held up just fine, but one run on this 4000kv motor and boom!💥 🤣 The amount of grease in there seemed acceptable to me…maybe it was a bad gear?🤷🏻♂️ Thanks for checking it out!👊😊✌️

Your advice and experiences with buggies are very useful to me, I got a purple mad van with brushes that I definitely do not plan to drive at more than 22 mph to avoid all kinds of problems with the gears, greetings and thank you for your very entertaining content. and informative Ícono de validado por la comunidad

Kyosho was kind enough to send a new diff as they were out of stock on the ring gears! It’s all fixed up and ready to go! As far as the Grom, I’m enjoying it quite a bit! I just finished editing my review video; it’ll be up in the next day or two! Thanks Al! 👊😊✌️
We’ll bust my balls! It is broken ! Easy fix, but shouldn’t of happened! Kyosho should definitely send you a new one. Especially only running only 2s so far! I scrubbed out a rear diff also this year in my JEGs Hooligan truck. One jump ended my fun!😭. Well, good luck with Kyosho. I’d buy a spare just in case it keeps happening!😝✌🏼🫰

They do the 3mil screw for the wheels because this chassis is the fazer chassis and normally has car wheels on it

It could have just been a bad casting but with the bigger tires it might be a good idea to back off the slipper a bit.
