That was odd the body post just snapped so easily. The tire flinging of was kind of funny, that one tire was ready to go home, it was on its way back to the car! LOL! Sorry it broke, hopefully it i not one of the parts that is always out of stock and you can it get it fixed quickly.
Yeah it was weird I flexed the body post mount and all the outside of it got all little cracks in it like it dried out but the inside was still good? weird never seen this before ? Finding parts for the kyosho cars stinks for sure! Thanks Addam
Hi Steve. I am a old school guy with my old Monster Beetle and many other Tamiya vehicles. I have old airplane type controllers and I have to get updated on my cars. What is your thoughts on a controller for my cars. Can one controller run them all? How do you even bind them? I really appreciate your input and advice for helping me understand the new techniques. Thanks Clark
Hi I would get a radiolink 4channel model they are nice and hold I believe 30 models now and they have the receivers with the gyro function that you can use which makes the 2wd old tamiyas that slip around easy and that are hard to control work and drive so much better, I have videos showing the radiolink gyro system working. the radio can bind 30 receivers to it and you can name each car to each one on the radio. look at this one www.amazon.com/Radiolink-Channels-Transmitter-Receiver-Controller/dp/B09WVDMC35/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2KCLUMP3NRV61&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.zUkeB1ULE_ZusRmjb3oTWm4GkR7s67XqKmCMRM_E2tymCAgBiEOyNMGq-8KGWGkn_7u5jgT7JKLL2FBtAKfeu1lY-cUia6DC5h9k06yHFqSjK20G-7S2hbo81BqL0-68WQt3lVJYwIQnqdifAsBXxRoVPHWc8Z1yEpuqrzAzoJNSJteq5Ym6cIbLYHBKG9L1TYr04quZUrF6yZ4lgo5_kjpf9HmDTzBUqvr0HHq-FhR-G3uF_VPMqIkoff3PCCrHlthyRMTC4sHUYegXb_V0rawekeyLi59bpRaygV7j9wk.yKXwvkJ5L81xTPvefm4PsPzE4GcqXsDDtH1vd8QeMHo&dib_tag=se&keywords=radiolink+rc4gs+v2&qid=1711491671&sprefix=radiolink+4ch%2Caps%2C462&sr=8-4
Hi Steve, that Mad Van is crazy fast and a lot of fun on that rough ground, but perhaps a bit too rough on this day! You still had fun though, run, break, fix, repeat! That wheel was trying to escape! 😅👊👍
@@jdpaslRC I think the big Arrma can suffer because of bent chassis if jumped hard, the light ones take the punishment better but any RC can be brake if you over do it.
That was a fun run in between mishaps Steve. It always sucks when the fun gets cut short. At least they are fairly easy fixes! Lady Luck hasn’t been on your side lately has she?
Nice job. I'm trying to decide weather to buy the Kyosho Mad Van and the Team associated Mt12 moster van. The Kyosho has much more power but the odd way the wheels mount is interesting. The 2 vans have completely different suspensions systems and the MT12 will probably torque twist with the extra power. Really hard to decide on but the Kyosho is the better value. Tough call for me. Anyways I really enjoyed your video and found it to be very informative. 👍🏁
Hi the kyosho is worlds better than the associated the associated it based of a 1/14 scale crawler and it's so slow and small compared to the mad van. Hope this helps.
That's not broken. The screw just came out. I own 3. Kyosho Fazer Z28 Camaro's and the axle is plastic so most likely the thread was stripped or maybe just wasn't tight enough. Easy fix . Probably cost $1.00 for a new bolt , unless you want genuine Kyosho parts but be careful of avoiding putting lock tite on plastic parts. It will make the plastic fail. You could use some instant super glue CVA glue on plastics though. 👌
I thought it went into plastic also but when I looked in there is a metal nut inside that the screw threaded into. Still like the normal style with a axle and a nut much better though. Thanks for looking.
Great bash.
Thank you!

@@ShenRC Thanks dude! I just purchased it and it’s on the way. If I have any problems I’ll be sure to check with you! Thanks again Clark
LOL it's a Mad Van, strange how the body posts failed and then the wheel goes a wandering 🙂 A screw to hold the wheel on, I think nuts are better.
Yeah plastic got brittle! I like the normal wheel nuts better also. Thanks
Until this moment it was fun to watch. Hope it'll be a quick fix
LOL!! yeah it was crazy like it always is! Thanks
It has been a crazy stretch for you lately with broken rc’s!😩
It was a good run up til then!👍😊
Tell me about it!! O well still fun! Well at least I got lucky I would have figured the wheel would have rolled and went down a sewer! Thanks HD!!

Thanks Mark, Lately I been breaking everything!! My luck I was thinking the wheel would roll and go down a sewer! Fix fix fIX for sure!!
Tamiya broke then now Kyosho broke. Hahaha. Let's do it with Arrma!
I think with Arrma my Gorgon is very strong, not broke it yet.
Nice, I had Arrma Outcast and Arrma Typhon and never broke at all! Arrma Outcast hit post at park and did not break. Wow.@@BasBoyRC

Shen RC pushing the kyosho Mad Van to the limit!!

Cool and awesome little truck. Thanks for sharing I enjoyed watching it.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks
Our mad van needs the spur gear replaced and I lost the one I have somewhere in my hobby room🤦♂️
and it's always hard to find kyosho parts to when buying them! Thanks for looking.
