Theres a big time jump between fresh spawn to adult, its simply because nothing happened lamo
This video perfectly summarises what it’s like to play stego. Some days you feel like you want to hop on with stego to slaughter everyone and on other days do vibe with absolutely anyone on the server.
Stego was added to the game too early, at first it had no predators, now at least good Omni, Dilo and Cerato players can hunt them but even then it's still too risky for them to do so.
It should have been relased with Allo or Alberto, because messing up and takin a hit from a Stego would not be a death sentence for them.
Yeah this. I don't feel stego is overpowered, but I do feel it came to the game years too early. It's a near apex in a game full of small tiers.
Kentro should have been added instead.
@@frumpkin9282 Exactly ! Kentro would have been a much better option, because right now the largest land carnivore we have is Carno, and Carno is still relatively small in comparison to Allo which is an entire ton heavier than it. Due to it's lack of agility it can't do anything to a Stego.
I really hope they add either Allo or Alberto to the living roadmap when they update it, because we need Allo, the world needs him.
wdym when stego came out its true that there was only carno and omni to hunt them but omni was so strong on that times that he had 1 ton 95 bite force and could kill stegos of 5 pounces ( kill them of damage not bleeding) also the E wasnt a mechanic so u just could wait until they end the pounce , when omni got nerfed they released deino , which is the only playable that could do smth to stego until this new patch where omni is stronger on groups and u can kill them easily ( only if they are alone too)
to be fair they arent really a threat just slow moving tanks
@@user-lp2un4gt9r Yea, like even when they camp bodies it feels like it's more annoying for them. Because in the rare occasion where I get body camped by a Stego there are usually multiple bodies that are away from each other so the stego has to keep running from one to the other to keep body camping but I can run faster so I can still eat.
That omni pack was so cool!!!! :0 They played pretty well !

@@mig2five you hold e when pounced, your dino tries to shake off the raptors by draining their stam, doing it costs you stam too but not as much as it takes from the raptors

if the game was balanced those raptors would win , coz they played it really well . but 5000000 hp and one shot capability is kinda crazy .
i dont think i showed it in the video but my health was perfectly fine which is crazy! just a bit of blood lost but steg can be stationary to protect itself so it dont matter
It equivalent to bunch of african wild dogs attacking an elephant. Omni's hunting style and behaviour fit perfectly with African Wild dogs. And guess what, elephant still win. Even lion pride hesitate to engage combat with bull elephant.
The Isle never meant to balance their playables because they pursue realistic aspect. In reality, some creature just can't beat other bigger creature even with pack, That's just reality.
@@temujinchannel8584 a omni used to weight 1 ton and his claws could kill even apex predators, anyways stegos are still killeable with omni if they are not in groups tho
@@Even6 ur blood was at 50% less blood means slower stamina regeneration if u didnt find the other stego u could have die because stamina stops regenerating (until u sit ) when is lower than 40% or so . they would keep doing pounces and u would eventually have died , dont look at health when u are fighting omnis look at blood pool and stamina if one of this are low , u are dead

@@temujinchannel8584 well dogs and prehistoric predators are kinda different in hunting skills , size. weapons , biteforce and iq . and this game is far from realistic . but its getting there for sure . but yeah i get what u sayin and aknowledge ur opinion :) . ofc if u enjoy just walking around forever until u drop from 1 meter cliff and die u go girl.

I am playing my very first stego now. I chose stego purely to get revenge on a pair of deinos. I do not regret it. All i do is provide a safe place to drink for randoms, and kill any deino dumb enough to take a walk. Ill switch back to carnis once im sure my stretch of south plains has no more deinos.
