Great video! Love the mix of Spanish and English. Keep this up brother. Super easy to follow along down to even how many drops of paint and thinner were used! Seriously great job!
U got me!
Hello Mr Elminiaturista. I really love the video and have watched it several times. Just one question if you were going to adapt this for blood angels what colours would you change the blues to?
Practice, practice, practice! Try different pressures (not too extreme) and paint consistencies. A spider web should mean that you're either using too much PSI, too much thinner or are too close to the surface.
Excellent stuff! I’ve followed your work on insta for a while now and really love your style - truly striking and elegant! If you were to do a dark red armour (thinking something like blood ravens/flesh tearers...), would you recommend starting from a brown or purple priming or would you still work your way up from black? Muchas gracias y espero ver muchos más vídeos pronto! 👏🏻
The problem is the red ink. Too much powerful, you must create the red you are searching.. and then modify the shadow as i did. Ink: red + violet or magenta + yellow...
tio pinta Mil Hijos!!!!
@@elminiaturista One more questions, after the clean up how long do you wait to put down the blue? Are you waiting for it to dry completely, with oils do you have to wait days?
Found your channel thanks to Zumikito and gotta say I love this style of space marine (I'm currently trying to paint mine like this, however I'm new to the hobby so I'm a bit scare of edge highlights haha). Quick question tho, how would you cover any mistakes in details and highlighting? I ask because most guides just say to use base color to cover it up, but when the base already has so many different tones, that seems rather impossible. I tried covering mine in another layer of gloss varnish in case I screw up I can use a paint remover, but I'm not sure which to use or if it would work... Thanks again for your videos and look forward to your reply!
They key is not to use paint remover or anything like that. In fact Zumikito mentions it during his highlighting phase. Have a second brush, wet with water and ready. If you make a mistake, you use the water brush to flood the area with water and then remove all the diluted wet paint with the brush.
I tried to airbrush with pure blue ink from scale 75 instead of Thalassar blue, it was a complete disaster! I erased all lights and shadows... ;-(( Maybe I was to close from my mini? Or should I mix it with white ink to obtain your "light as a feather" sky blue? There is a big difference between see the way, and walk the way lol
@@elminiaturista Done! ;-) I tried amsterdam brand and it works much better! Now I must find how to apply it perfectly because I've ruined contrast again ( less than before but It doesn't work as good as you ;-))
Maybe in the future, sure!. Im just editing my last Bloodangel Lt. (With energy sword) for Patreon. Days need more hours.. instagram.. patreon...commissions.. real work.. family.. and now youtube... I got at least 3 Bloodangels in patreon if you are interested. :)

Awesome! Nice start into the youtube adventure. Been following you on IG for quite some time and this is a great tutorial start!
thank you for translating to english!! you make it look so easy.
Love the video, well filmeed and easy to follow. It's interesting to see the oil wash before the colour but is interesting.
Mucha suerte!!
Qué técnica más curiosa! Me ha gustado el vídeo, he aprendido muchas cosas nuevas
Elmini and Angel = BADASSES!
Thank you for this in dept tutorial! Now I can try your formular for Black Armor with this guide :)

I am always truly amazed to your's paint style, always!
Came here just for this!
What size needle do you use on your airbrush? Amazing work!
Vaya tela
Coño! Se agradece 😄🍸
That was phenomenal man! Thank you!
I've been following you a while and your insta is amazing. A real talent. We want more and more...
Truly a master of the brush.
Came from Instagram. So exited to see you finally putting out some UA-cam content!
I want that handle. Thank you so much for showing me! I've been wondering how you get such fantastic results!!!
This was great to watch! More please!!!!!
Great video. Why did you use gloss varnish insted of matt?
Ahi está crack, genial debut en UA-cam
You are a wizard sir 👍
Absolutely brilliant. Would love to see your take on a salamanders.
Also came from instagram, keep up the great work!
Just found you via a recommendation from Zumikito mini painting here on The Toob. Cheers-wonderful work.
Amazing video sir, what psi so you spray at when working so close to the mini?

What airbrush are you using?
What pressure do you run your airbrush? I have issues with spider webbing on the model using that same ink
2,5 bar. Its a matter of trigger control..
Practice, practice, practice! Try different pressures (not too extreme) and paint consistencies. A spider web should mean that you're either using too much PSI, too much thinner or are too close to the surface.
it looks very simple, on the screen, but in real life...😅 thank you, I think this lesson will be useful to me for painting sub zero
Thank You.. Love it 💙
Coionut! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Nice Video dude!
After adding a gloss varnish and an oil wash, would Citadel contrast paint go onto the model ok?
Si no usas oleo no hace falta,
Good job. Wish you’ll make the glow effect !
Does the same procedure work shifting from blu to red color? For example blood angel armour...
Good job 👍🏻
Do you know what colors you would use for green space marines? 😃 I'm a beginner and have a hard time to decide what to buy for my Dark Angels
what airbrush do you use? I've been looking at a H&S Infinity 2-in-1 but i'm hesitant to buy it
Is it OK to use Liquitex Titanium White Ink ?
Para diluyente del óleo valdría la trementina??
What airbrush and compressor do you use?
A 40€ fengda airbrush... And a regular ali express compressor, arround 80€
@@elminiaturista Thanks man amazing work

Porque puedo corregir
what airbrush you useing mate ?
I use one from Artesania Latina, dont know the model, cost around 35€

What white ink is that?
la verdad.....buena tecnica, thank you
Can you still apply this technique with a brush?
Yes. Then glaze blue contrast or ink (ink has more colour intensity) over the white.
Beautiful.
Excelente video
Nunca usé nuln oil :)
This is amazing

How long do you wait after applying the oil wash before you start to clean it up?
Not much.. a couple of min.. but you can wait more.. even hours

@@jgorton1978 if the oil is well diluted it tends to dry fast... Minutes... You can use a hairdryer.. whitespirit accelerate the dry process
