I like the Cat Mountain hopper car! I like the windmill . NIIIICE. A quick tip that I like for layouts is latex paint usually brown for any spot on the layout that is still bare and even if ballast is coming later..which takes a lot of care...wet latex paint and some thin dry soil covers up so many things either temporarily or permanently . As my friend Bill Kauman says 'If you like it do some more. If you don t like it, do some more!"
Did this yesterday...it always feels good when you don't run trains for a while, and then when you do, everything still works!

Thanks. I typically paint the plywood a light beige color. Great suggestion painting the roadbed.
