hi great video. I have this sort of setup. i have a 12v pump running from my water tank to my dosatron. I cannot seem to get the pump pumping to the dosatron. If i disconect the pump from the dosatron i use it without the dosatron it works well. what is the problem? i have been told that the pump has to be after the dosatron. is this correct
The pump before the dosatron as it only works with the flow passing through it. If you want to use a pump after the dosatron then youd have the dosatron mix into a tank and then pull the chemical from the tank with a pump (no real reason to do this) so pump before and that way doesnt need to be a chemical pump as only handling water
From the original comment it seems the pump isn't rated enough to operate the dosatron. In reply to the comment above, you'd need a chemical pump after the softwash tank that's holding your mixed chemical. The soft wash tank isn't a pressurised close system. But i think I may have misunderstood when you say " no real reason to do this " did you mean no reason to have the tank and just take the pressurised flow straight from the outlet of the dosatron? Just like the 3 way valve set up he has in the video.

So you don’t have to have a tank or a pump to soft wash ?
What would the rough set up costs be??
