That was a windy and wet one🌨 and plenty wet underfoot with loads of water still coming off the hills💧💧It looked like there were some glimpses of views from under all that clag😊Nice wee loop👍 and definitely worth going back for better weather ☀ and views😊
Hi Gerry. There was strong gusts on top of Slieve Meelmore, I was glad to get off the mountain as well by the end of it. I think Slieve Meelbeg will definitely be worth a revisit on a better day. There was some views that morning, unfortunately it was when we where in the car looking back at the Mournes going home 😂. Cheers for watching 👍.

Class man, that must have blew the cobwebs out 💨 Think I wasn’t too far a way that day and If I remember rightly there was yellow weather warning in the Mournes! Makes you feel alive! Nice one!
Morning Gary, I think you are right about the weather warning, you could definitely feel the winds coming in on top of meelmore. I was a bit weary coming down that way off meelmore but we got it done. Like you say makes you feel alive. Where did you go that day yourself?
It definitely was, unfortunately we didn’t get much break in the clouds. But we’ve been lucky the past few hikes with the weather so I can’t complain. Cheers for watching 👍
Hi, your probably right mate. There is one side of bearnagh which is basically a drop off. Definitely not a place to be running about on in low visibility.

A runner fell off the side of Berneagh, I was told he didn't realise he was on the wrong side of the wall, and it was low visibility. And off he went
