- This was an amazing family trip. On Easter Monday April 2nd 2018 we had amazing conditions and we took this 72 km long ski trip starting from our hometown of Badia all the way to the Marmolada glacier and back.

We have stayed in Colfosco [kolfusch] 5 times now, since 2015. It took those 5 weeks with 7 or 8 skiing days each year to do it all. Alpe de Siusi, Fal di Fassa, Giro grande Guerra, La Crusc, Marmolade, Cinqi Torri, and several sella ronda’s both ways. Februari 2020 we luckely where there before the Pandemic was there. On the 15th we went home.
This season we booked for the 10th december and mid februari. Both reservations cancelled now. We booked again in our favorite hotel Gran Ciasa from the 11th to the 18th of march. Hopefully we can see this through and enjoy this spectaculair skiing area. After 40 years of skiing in Austria, France and Switserland, being in so many villages and skiing areas i most honestly say that this area is by far the best. Tips are the Sciare con Gusto (try all the Rifugi) and offcourse the Wine-ski-safari. And as a super trip do the Giro Grande Guerra, counter clockwise (ice rocks Sottogudo) then a bustrip to Alleghi and several lifts and pistes to Pescul. Then again a bustrip to the Passo Giau try Cinqi Torri if there is enough time and enjoy Lagazuoi. On the way down you have to stop at the Rifugi Scottoni, super wines and Pastas then further down and the slede ride on a rope back to Armentarola. Then through the Alta Badia to Corvara, we always have to take the Borest there and then the Colfosco so we can ski almost to our frontdoor. Enjoy......
For the Giro della grande Guerra right now the Sottoguda gorge is still closed since 2018 after the Vaia storm. It will take some years until the road that goes through the gorge will be repaired:

@@UstariaPosta Damn we Made that trip in feb 2018. We hoped to do it again this march. But i guess the busride has to start at Malga Ciapela. I enjoy you films. I reckognise all the routes and lifts. As if we are there. 👍🏼
