Hi Igor, We're skiing in Kronplatz for a week in February 2023 and plan to visit Alta Badia for 2 days using the ski bus from Piculin gondola. Thanks for this great video, this route looks perfect for us! We visited Alta Badia ski area 4 years ago and it's definitely one of our favourites, fantastic scenery and great slopes. Hi Igor, We had a good week in Kronplatz last week even though the temperature reached about 15C on the lower slopes at the start of our week! We spent 2 days in Alta Badia and did this loop around the area in both directions. I even saw your hotel on the transfer bus from Kronplatz! Maybe I was seeing things, but were you in Kronplatz one day ? I thought you may have passed us on the Ried slope, 2 boys skied past us quickly wearing the same ski outfits your boys wear! It always puts a smile on my face seeing a new post from Ustaria Posta! Today I had a day off, so I did your tour starting from Arabba... I never skied in the Badia area (strange no?!) but it was wonderful... after arriving at passo Val Gardena I contemplated to complete the Sella back to Arabba but it was quite busy, and already a bit late so I returned back... to then lose my way on the Alta Badia area... LOL. It's on my bucketlist to spend some days at your place... I'm sure it will happen once the our son (4yold) is skiing. Greetings from Feltre. Buon anno!

I was skiing there whilst they were on when this video was uploaded in the exact same place we went around the cella Ronda and Alta badia a lot we are going back in 2024 amazing snow this season too
From this weekend I go skiing there for a couple of days too. Base station will be San Cassiano. I must say, your kiddo can ski very well, he has an outstanding technique! He should become a professional. It's fun to see, how much fun he has skiing! Maybe I'll see you guys skiing there one day, then I will say, Hi! 🎿🌞🌨
@@UstariaPosta Yes, I do understand your opinion to that. But isn't it much more fun to do recreational skiing than skiing for a living? Yup i think so too. Therefore, the ski area is one big play ground for your kids. Tomorrow we'll ski to Lagazuoi. Today I taught some beginners how to deal this slush snow the easiest. It was a nice beginning to get used to the current conditions on my first day skiing, it's a so-called win-win -situation 😉
That was great! I'm sure I can handle that. Maybe winter of 23/24 things may change for the better in "travel restrictions" and my wife and I will finally be able to visit. We definitely want to stay at the Hotel Ustaria Posta!! Keep up the great work! Kind of reminds me of when my dad owned the ski lodge in Aspen back in the 1970's and 1980's- my dad was very much involved with our hotel guests, more than just local information. My dad would have slalom races with video and would have Stephan Kaelin come once a week for equipment help for our guest and etc....Those were the best years. Seems like you guys have it perfect there!
@Ustaria Posta my dad admits his biggest bad financial decision was when he sold the lodge back in 1989. The old lodge actually got tor. Down early this month to make way for some modern piece of architectural abortion. I hope Alta Badia has kept the same over the last 50 years.

It's ironic that it was the warm charm of Aspen in the 1970's and 1980's that appealed to the mega wealthy and as soon as they get a foothold, they tear down othe old charming buildings to erect their God-aweful "monuments"....

Che tempismo questo video. Proprio questa mattina ho avuto una piccola discussione con mia moglie. Parcheggiamo l'auto al passo Campolongo ed io dico a mia moglie di non allontanarci troppo da quella zona perchè già immaginavo la ressa del Sella Ronda, cosa che puntualmente si è avverata. Io adoro la zona Cherz, a mio avviso è una delle più panoramiche e suggestive delle Dolomiti e raramente ci sono code agli impianti. Anche le piste non sono male, ma se proprio vogliamo trovarci un difetto, forse le seggiovie un po' datate.
Una delle poche volte che i mariti hanno ragione 😁😁 Secondo me é una fortuna che le seggiovie sono cosí ... visto che poi tutti preferiscono le altre. Altrimenti anche il Cherz diventerebbe impossibile da godere per poi finire al cono di bottiglia della seggiovia Masarei.

Una proposta per voi, organizzate un video su come arrivare ad Ortisei da Badia. Il Seceda è molto bello, come meta finale si affronterebbe "La Longia", la pista più lunga del Sellaronda. Il risultato potrebbe essere qualcosa come il video della vostra gita a Cortina.
😉👍👍 Questo video lo avevamo giá pronto al 70% lo scorso anno con il Giro completo anche all'Alpe di Siusi. Poi peró ... per qualche problema tecnico non sono riuscito a finirlo e quindi lo ripeteró a breve. Appena posso dedicare una giornata di sci completo con la family 😉👍.

Glad it was helpful. For sure the best park with jumps and kicks is Ciampei at the Piz Sorega 👍 You can leave the kid there, do the whole loop and pick it up (hopefully all in one piece) at the end of the skitrip 😁

Sí, uso sempre gli sci da scialpinismo (ne ho comunque qualche paio in piú). L'abitudine é nata da quando i bambini erano piccoli piccoli, dovendo portare 3 paia di sci almeno preferivo che un paio fosse leggero ... ed ecco perché sono rimasto con gli sci da alpinismo.

Grande giro...alla fine avete preso la scorciatoia per mancanza di tempo? Io avrei concluso prendendo la Bamby + la 17 nera (Gran Risa) o rossa (Altin)
No niente mancanza di tempo in quanto per questo giro ne rimane tanto. Volevo semplicemente descrivere un giro adatto a tutti. Per questo motivo abbiamo anche evitato il Vallon. Quindi anche per rientrare a La Villa il percorso piú adatto é la scorciatoia.
Mi piacerebbe un video dove spieghi come usare i mezzi pubblici per visitare i compensori sciistici così se uno non vuole fare lo skipass dolomiti Superski ma quello del singolo compensorio così da risparmiare
Gentilissimo Stefano, credimi che visto la differenza di prezzi esigua fra skipass dei comprensori e DolomitiSuperski conviene quest'ultimo. Ma la cosa é calcolata cosí giá alla base. I vari comprensori guadagnano di piú dai passaggi degli sciatori che usano il DSS che lo skipass del comprensorio. Per questo motivo viene spinto di piú il DSS.
Ho cominciato a sciare a 39 anni e non sono mai stato sulle Alpi Italiane, anche se Italiano vivente all' estero. Per andare esattamente li' che citta' devo cercare su google maps?

Che tempismo questo video. Proprio questa mattina ho avuto una piccola discussione con mia moglie. Parcheggiamo l'auto al passo Campolongo ed io dico a mia moglie di non allontanarci troppo da quella zona perchè già immaginavo la ressa del Sella Ronda, cosa che puntualmente si è avverata. Io adoro la zona Cherz, a mio avviso è una delle più panoramiche e suggestive delle Dolomiti e raramente ci sono code agli impianti. Anche le piste non sono male, ma se proprio vogliamo trovarci un difetto, forse le seggiovie un po' datate.
Una delle poche volte che i mariti hanno ragione 😁😁
Secondo me é una fortuna che le seggiovie sono cosí ... visto che poi tutti preferiscono le altre.
Altrimenti anche il Cherz diventerebbe impossibile da godere per poi finire al cono di bottiglia della seggiovia Masarei.

Questo video lo avevamo giá pronto al 70% lo scorso anno con il Giro completo anche all'Alpe di Siusi. Poi peró ... per qualche problema tecnico non sono riuscito a finirlo e quindi lo ripeteró a breve. Appena posso dedicare una giornata di sci completo con la family 😉👍.

Glad it was helpful. For sure the best park with jumps and kicks is Ciampei at the Piz Sorega 👍 You can leave the kid there, do the whole loop and pick it up (hopefully all in one piece) at the end of the skitrip 😁

Sí, uso sempre gli sci da scialpinismo (ne ho comunque qualche paio in piú). L'abitudine é nata da quando i bambini erano piccoli piccoli, dovendo portare 3 paia di sci almeno preferivo che un paio fosse leggero ... ed ecco perché sono rimasto con gli sci da alpinismo.

No niente mancanza di tempo in quanto per questo giro ne rimane tanto. Volevo semplicemente descrivere un giro adatto a tutti. Per questo motivo abbiamo anche evitato il Vallon. Quindi anche per rientrare a La Villa il percorso piú adatto é la scorciatoia.

Mi piacerebbe un video dove spieghi come usare i mezzi pubblici per visitare i compensori sciistici così se uno non vuole fare lo skipass dolomiti Superski ma quello del singolo compensorio così da risparmiare
Gentilissimo Stefano, credimi che visto la differenza di prezzi esigua fra skipass dei comprensori e DolomitiSuperski conviene quest'ultimo. Ma la cosa é calcolata cosí giá alla base. I vari comprensori guadagnano di piú dai passaggi degli sciatori che usano il DSS che lo skipass del comprensorio. Per questo motivo viene spinto di piú il DSS.
