We got to see the Bean Stock 2.0 at the Overland Expo in Pomona, CA (3/16/24). Quality is unmatched by competitors by far. The simplicity of this model fits us since we love the extra interior space by moving a cooking setup to side-mounted tables. We ordered ours with that option. Now we wait like overgrown kids waiting for Santa to bring our shiny new bike...except we will drive out to the North Pole ourselves on our sleigh (Subaru Outback Wilderness). We are looking at the bean Stalk 2.0 for our first teardrop trailer. I like everything about it. One of my questions is how hot does it get inside during the summer time. Is the Maxx fan enough to keep it cool for sleeping? We plan on traveling out west form NY. Also great review.
We have used ours in 100° temps and it was warm. We had the fan going and the doors open. If you are going for extended periods I would add the a/c unit.
I wonder if they can install an exterior outlet for a generator or shore power from campgrounds to connect to. That little battery is not going to do for a desktop gaming PC or game console to run. I'm not even suggesting to install an inverter, because some people may already have their own power station that can connect to a generator, shore power, and solar to charge from.
Nice video, question, is it Bean Stock or as the title of the video say, Bean Stalk? While I like the simplicity of the propane tank holders, I do believe D.O.T. requires a safety cable additionally, which would be simple to add.
@@anthonypanepinto9685 not much because when you get you gear loaded inside. But with the overalll weight being so low it is better to have the hitch weight. If you figure 10-15% hitch weight that is not much weight on the vehicle. Thanks for watching.
There is a ton of space for storage because the entire area that would be a galley is open space inside the trailer. You just need to use bins or a drawer unit or something.

The metal box I think had a locking latch. In the end if someone wants to steal your stuff they will and that just sucks. Thanks for watching.

I live in Oklahoma. It gets really hot. I couldn't imagine a camper without climate control. That would be my only draw back on it
