Those leaf plates you built is awesome. it shows that even though these cars are 40 years old (well we have had them in our country since 1983/1984), there is still development that can be done on them to make them even better..
I'd be interested in the spring plates once your R&D is done. Your moving along nicely for having other projects, "work" time and doing stuff by yourself.
Why didnt you just spin one tire and count How many times the pinion spun and you could have fig out ratio that way easier. If you would like help on samy builds I have jad alot and built alot yrs ago before everyone liked them. Let me know I'm in NJ and looking to move to pa
I was going to do that. I still wanted to know what shape everything was on the inside. It would of sucked to get it all done an take it wheeling an here the axle shaft birf was cracked or a Bearing was about to break.
@@DrZFabrication I here that. Let me know if ur looking for a little extra help. I'm the guy in fb that asked if u would sell the sidekick. I loved your 4dr one looking to start a build real soon. Something like ur doing now but stretched. Like the one on dirt everyday the blue one. Let me know.

Any update on those bolt plates being available?
I hope you beefed up the T case mount ,first thing that happens is , it twists....
We did not mess with that for the first trip. We ended up doing some small gussets on the stock arms for the second trip.
Sick plates!!! You gonna put shock mounts or swaybar mounts for stockish samis?
Shock mounts will be on the axle. No sway bar mounts.
Did you have to shim the output and input shaft of the transfer when reassembling?
Is it more whiny compared to stock?
I just put the original shims back in that came out. It doesn’t whine.
Why did your brother take over at 10:25?
Ahah.
Dr. Z What car's hydraulic system is it?
The power steering?
@@DrZFabrication yes
