Neil Fallon is a class act. Took my son (10 years old) to his very first show and after it was over, Neil leaned down to the security guy in front of us and handed him a pick and then pointed at my kid to give it to him. Made his night!!!

I DM'd their FB page to let them know, and that she asked that they played Prison Planet as that is her favorite song. During the Show, Neil mentioned that there were a few young fans there for their first concert, and that he expected everyone to take care of them. He mentioned that "this next one is a special request of one of those young fans" and they blazed into Prison Planet. Lydia was absolutely tickled. They handed out shirts, guitar picks and drum sticks to the young fans after rocking the Fillmore in Detroit. There's a reason why I have(12 years now) and will continue to see them every time they come to Michigan. The whole band gets mad respect.

Classic of Neil to stop and let security do their job. He didn't incite the crowd and create a mass beat down. I've bounced concerts and appreciate how well this was handed from the stage and by security. A big thumbs up to the band and a middle finger to the tough guy that punches women.
One thing you’ll notice if you go to more than one Clutch show is that Mr. Fallon IS IN CHARGE! He takes it (crowd safety) seriously without it effecting the overall performance. I’ve seen him basically say “ kids to the left so y’all mosh on the right” And that is EXACTLY what the hell happened. Clutch is comprised of good people who happen to make great music and I’m a PROUD GEARHEAD ⚙️
I was at an AIC show and the pit pushed me into a chick that punched me. I told her if she did it again that she would get decked. Her thinking she was untouchable as a woman punched me again amd thats when she was laid out....by my wife. Good times.
Seems to be a common thing I've seen for women to stand at the edge of the mosh pit tossing punches if anyone bumps into them. Same thing happened to me at a clutch show in ohio. I wanted to be equal opportunity but just couldn't. So I told her boyfriend to put the bitch on a leash or I'd be coming for him. He did not. He left the show bleeding and hanging on to her after she hit me the 3rd time. I escaped the crowd and bouncers by burying myself in a big fat guy, took off my shirt and put it on my head and went to the beer line for a while. Came back and enjoyed the rest of the show.

I was at Aragon Ballroom and 1978 watching rush and somebody threw a bottle or something towards Alex lifeson the band did nothing but their security grab this dude and took him over to the side and beat the s*** out of him and then they arrested him

True I'm an equalist myself. There are differences tho. There's more physically strong men than strong women and more physically vulnerable women compared to men (bone density, muscle mass, testosterone etc) so it's usually worse when men hit women compared to hitting other men. It's also bad when women hit men when they think they can't get hit back because of their gender. More common respect needs to be given based on being a human, not a specific gender.

I was also at Aragon Ballroom when the tubes played there and they were doing a song called I was a punk before you were a punk and we are watching this guy in a leather jacket with greasy hair work his way down the main aisle towards the stage and he pushes some guy and the guy blast him and he fell over bunch of chairs and security was there and he got back up and kept working his way to the stage and he pushed another dude and that dude hit him so hard I thought he was going to die and he got up and made it to the stage and fee waybill drug him up on stage and beat them up and security drag them off and the next morning my dad asked me weren't you at that concert where the queer guys play I think their name were the tubes and I said yeah Dad I was there and he said did you see somebody get the crap beat out of them and I said yeah they almost killed him and he said it was all a setup it was in the Chicago Tribune the next day they were all stuntman from LA it was incredible
