How can anyone talk about extraction shooter fatigue when there are barely any good ones and none of them improve this genre, there is so much that could be done.

I play Twisted Path. I definitely worry that there is a cash grab going on because of certain unfixed issues. I also worry that the devs are out of their depth. However, the game is updated frequently and I see improvement over time. The game is *definitely not finished*, which is to be expected of a game that has just released into Early Access. It's been available for some time on another platform and was in an even more unfinished state there. It has definitely improved in many areas over time; and some areas where there hasn't been improvement are justifiable as placeholder features that will be replaced by entirely new systems later. The AI has receieved definite improvements; it is definitely not in a great place right now, but it is in a state of obvious change over time, and there are locations where it works well. The fact that it works badly in some areas and not others could be a sign of some areas being improved, or of the devs being out of their depths. We'll find out. Your complaint about movement speed shows up a big problem the game has with new player onboarding. Personally I thought "This movement is very slow, but I have my gun out and I'm aiming it. What's the holster key?" and discovered how to move faster. Other players, such as yourself, might need more guidance. But of course, when is the right moment to create a tutorial for a game in the middle of development? The developers seem to have taken the negative reviews following the Steam release on board; just before Steam, they released a statement apologising that development on the second map and the new crafting system are not yet finished. Releasing those two features has been a development target and a major (invisible) focus of development. Having been slammed hard by players bouncing off the game, they've said that they're urgently investing time into QoL features (this has been published to the Discord and the Steam announcements page; further patch notes to come when the patch is finalised). Like I said, the game is incomplete. By all means wait for the end of Early Access. I enjoy the game as it is now; it is definitely better than your review suggests; but the devs' extreme failure to appreciate player onboarding is very real and it's not a failure of a new player to find the game's features, it's the game's failure in not explaining its features fully. As a player, I would love it if you could give the game another hour or two of your time, maybe ask a couple of questions in the Discord to help get past the poor onboarding, and get to know the game as it is a little better; specifically so that you can come back in a month or two and give a better, deeper analysis of whether the game has improved or not.
If you've gotten tons of hours out the game. It's been worth the cost. Cash grab is something that is released - doesn't work and then is abandoned instantly (That Day Before).
Based on fact that there’s only 2-3 functional and playable extraction shooters, one of which is managed so badly it’s basically a shitpost, id say the “fatigue”, if you can call it that, is pretty valid
same here. Imho SPT does it better than live EFT and I can very well live with not having human opponents, especially as I'm not able to invest the necessary time
I have logged just over 127.5 hours into the very addictive game of This Land Is My Land that you mentioned here and so glad you covered that game. Yes, it had some bugs as it was in early development and as a gamer and project coordinator I began keeping track of not only the bugs I was experiencing but also what others were experiencing as well and also what the community were asking to improve on the gameplay, I loved this game that much and being of the First Nations was so happy to see a game of this genre. I am glad you mentioned their excuses regarding not updating the game due to the war but were able to work on other projects and releases that were not affected. I so wished they would release this game to the modding community because of the incredible and different aspect of gaming that it is. Thank you for at least mentioning TLIML and hope that the developers return to this game for the improvements I had sent them on their Discord community channel. Fantastic channel by the way.
This game is made on Unity and not on Unreal Engine. So it's a little strange to listen to an expert when he doesn't really know what engine it was made on LOL
for anyone who is reading/watching this, and has even a slight interest in a wild west extraction shooter. Please look into Hunt: Showdown instead. I can promise you its a million times better than whatever this shit is. It has a viciously dedicated community, a new map and engine upgrade coming out in August, and has been around for years. Its dev cycle has been way better, and your money will be bettwr spent. If these devs are really that impacted by the war, then donate to the war and Ukraine via other means and charities. As far as a game goes tho, Hunt Showdown will simply be a better experience.
I tried Hunt it's a pure extraction shooter, not an extraction looter shooter. You don't accumulate items besides weapons. This is an extractor looter shooter with storage, crafting, quests, and eventually will have a homestead function similar to Tarkov's hideout. Hunt is a glorified deathmatch with bosses.
As someone who supports Ukraine in their bid for independence, that is not an excuse for scummy business decisions. I've seen at least two devs now that have used the fact they are based in Ukraine as an excuse for delivering a rushed and poor quality product, and using the ongoing war as justification for doing so. Your country being at war doesn't give you automatic brownie points when you deliver dogshit games.
Also I believe the company isn’t solely Ukrainian and may have different developing teams outside of Ukraine with twisted path being made by this Ukrainian group
Good vid dude. Fair criticism. Some corrections- Game is on unity not unreal. Later recruits have much better speeds along with food to buff. Holstering weapons also makes you move much faster. Map is 3x3km. Update from today from devs- QOL update based on feedback coming soon.
@@BigfryTV no problem yh they said Unity a while ago to us when asked directly. Btw it didn't seem to save my comment properly - according to Hangman (one of the devs) its the same studio but not the same dev team working on this game as the others. 2:36 that is smoke cloud coming out of that gun. Guns back in 1899 worked with black powder. Black powder creates a ton of smoke, look it up on YT, the smoke clouds are gigantic. Modern guns use a compound that has way less smoke but back in the day they didn't have the tech for it The game has a lot of potential. I do like modern guns but I love the old guns and this era is really untapped. Mostly extraction looter shooters are set in modern times, this is much more interesting And I don't think there's an extraction looter shooter fatigue but an early access extraction looter shooter fatigue. I just wanna play a game that's got content. Takes most of them years to get the game into a state where the content and mechanics are good enough to play
That cloud was what happens when you shoot a black powder gun of that time the smoke is so thick you can't see threw it for atleast 10-15 seconds irl, newer gun powders and fast burning powders dont do this but old school black powder does
He just doesn't get that guns back then were horribly unreliable and using subpar materials because that's what they had at the time... It was relatively 'new.' Even then, they took liberties in the game design since 'suppressors' didn't really exists until the early 1900s. This is based in 1899, and the 'suppressor' wasn't commercially viable/available until like 1902.
I played since December a good amount of time. And i can say in the first 10 Hours u figure out how things work and yeah they are jank. I guess it depends on what kind of player you are, if u are okay with the graphics and how the character moves. But it was also fun for me. I discovered later on the importance of the workshop and how important good ammo is. You discover later on as you progress in renown (at Lvl 5) that there are can be pretty good mercenaries, some of them have something like pain resistance or faster reloading. Food is there to buff yourself like the stims in tarkov. And yeah u cant run while wielding a weapon. And what i like to mention they are pretty active in communicating on discord, what i liked. There was a bug at ironmine, someone joined with me to cover where these bugs were comming from to help the developer. Felt like they really care for their game. The community is nice imo They abandoned "This Land is my Land" which is a fair point, this was something i discovered later on. But it's just my Opinion
To each their own i guess. Ive been enjoying this game alot. The first time i played it i wasnt sure id like it because it died alot but then i learned the map and started doing pretty good. They are releasing an update next week to tweak some of the biggest issues that people put in feedback about. I wouldnt write it off yet
I really enjoyed that level zero extraction or how it was called. Started out as the alien so wasnt really ready for that much darkness and creepiness playing as human.
i will say the one thing i did enjoy seeing in this game is proper representation of black powder weapons. plumes of smoke is main reason black powder had to go.
You might not have figured out but to run fast all you need to do is holster your weapons.... and then to go even faster you can even eat tabacco. So your complaint about being slow is probably because you haven't tried holstering your weapon. Also that smoke coming out the barrel of your gun can be changed by just using ammo that is smokeless.
So a huge update came out today that fixed most of the issues that were previously mentioned by players. People say it's really decent now. Maybe it's worth a second look?
Great video. I recently bought a 'Premium' MK11 with a nice looking box...and an online code for 2 bonus characters...About this game, I had some xp with Motion Capture and gotta admit it has quite fluid, accurate animations and movement and fight choreography, something that wasn't so obvious for the FPS games in the past. Late to the video but so far in the RTS community they have a good rep, Ultimate general is one of the classics in RTS as well as Ultimate admiral dreadnaught seeing this side of them is weird
i fully disagree that the time has passed on releasing a game in the exfil looter shooter space and i say this because the truth is there is only maybe 3 that i would even play as of now and the truth with in them 3 tarkov is the one i keep playing i would play gzw but for me it just doesnt run well even tho it should i have a decent rig its still am4 but its on the higher end of things for this position and even with fsr on im maxing out at 40 fps and thats not even taking into count that fsr makes it very hard to even see so i would say its unpoplayable just because of that change arena breakout is fun for a short while i spent the first week playing it and the last time i played it i had fun sure but i already have 14 million koen and my stash is completely packed full of loot so while i did enjoy the game i think it just needs more space in the maps more stuff to explore so i can get caught off guard from looting more often the way they set it up theres hot spots that everyone runs to and if your a decent player you run there and you wait for your chance to catch others off guard and then you have there gear and the loot you didnt even have keys to get and so there is definatly room for a well done built for the lower tier systems that isnt built to funnel you right to the hottest spots on the map for the fastest fights btw looter shooters are fun because sometimes you spent days building your money up so you can just look for pvp and then you loser alot of that money and then you go back to looting the lesss looted areas or take the scenic route and take your time maybe its because you are tryign to squeezxze some games in while the kids are home so you still have to be some what cognisent of your surroundings so going slower is your polaystyle tonight but the other guys are already in the zone and running to the place where theres 30 rooms that have a higher chance of having high tier loot in them and bringing the big boy guns to match that vibe and maybe the slower guy wants to after hes done looting up maybe try to catch on e of them gu8ys as hes picking up the last of the kills loot the huge ammouhnt of ways to play these games is the biggest reason i can keep playing them for multiple years when a game is built for that plus its built to be played on them lower end systems so the guys with higher tier systesm get really good fps thats the sweet spot im hoping arc raiders plays a bit more into the looting so the pvp is secondary to the reason for being out and about maybe the more you play the stuff to loot you can build some of them bots to then send out and loot for you warframe comes to mind on how later in the game you unlock the ship missions where once youve made it fasr enough you start doing these missions where your on your ship shooting other ships and so on but still looting up them kills
Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts is a fairly ok game but it really shows that the war is just being used as a convenient excuse. The game receives relatively regular updates, including a recent multi-player update that not only is extremely unpolished, you have to pay 15 USD to access it. Kinda seems like you said, their projects aren't paying out like they think they should be, so let's just crank out game after game
What ? "Early Acess" and "Cash Grab" in the same sentence ?? NO WAY... Anyway, like I say to every Early Access game I come across : 'Kay...see you in 5 years...if you're still there".
Dude this review is fucking spot on. I am in their discord and their fanboys are having a fit, well done good sir. I am going to subscribe in hopes that you will continue to pulverize these incompetent game developers who push games to an EA state without fundamental bugs being ironed out.
BigFry, this stuff pisses me off! Games like a “Western Extraction Shooter” and even the survival game This Land is My Land would be cool as hell had an actual studio made it. Yet here we have incompetent companies taking the name and game idea and completely wasting it! The ideas of these types of games are actually cool and I’m sure you’d admit that, but with Steam allowing this kind of crap we’ll never be able to enjoy it if they don’t get enough money in their pockets to motivate them to make it good. Making a game is like taking care of a child in a way. Everyone can be a Dev, but it takes a special type of person to actually make a game good. Keep fighting the good fight man!
Ngl, I enjoyed "This land.." and I still do enjoy "Twisted path.." to a certain amount, I fully expected the games to not be perfect, especially the AI is incredibly lackluster. But I stuck with the devs and I believed in them, and wanted to support them through hard times. But I really believed they were putting all their effort into this game, and would eventually come back to This Land.. but seeing how they were developing 2 other games at the same time, I am really starting to question my support for this game company. Hopefully they'll update the games now they got more money, but I'm probably just huffing copium..
The problem with extraction shooters is a couple of things… 1. it’s too exclusive, meaning it’s either always on PC only (no crossplay) or stuck in beta/rumored releases. 2. The player base divided between skilled issue (pve only, casual noobs) and non skilled issue (pvpve legit players). The devs don’t know who to cater to. And 3. BRs, milsims and survival PvPvE games is more readily available and lots of content. I think dmz spoiled the casuals so if the devs make a legit extraction shooter with realistic capabilities such as inventory system, backpack, looting, gear, weapons etc. casuals can’t wrap their brains around it since the learning curve might be more difficult.
Why are they releasing it so early in development ? Are they fully financed for the "18-24" months of dev time? those two questions you ask yourself before buying into any early acess.
It’s odd cause most extraction shooters and even other video games are developing a twisted path to renown. I think we are the ones being played here. Whose renown is it?
I'd suggest that's the same across the game industry. CoD just keeps releasing the same thing year over year. CS:GO and R6:Siege are the same genre. There's a million battle royale's out there. Extraction shooters are just another FPS genre to add to the pile of overdone genres. Arguably though, Extraction shooter are much fresher as they really started to become popular after PUBG. It's hard to be innovative at this point, everything is copying each other to some extent.
It's a bit of a shame really, cause Game Labs has actually produced some legitimately good games in the past, but I feel like these days the studio lacks any sense of focus or direction.
Im TOTALLY BROKE at level 5 now. Only know how to make tool handles and gun powder. All the free recruits are beyond crappy, some don't even have guns . Extractions are comically bad and impossible to reach. If anyone has tips to make money or knows what I'm doing wrong plz comment
I'm just so confused we actually have 2 extraction shooters and both of them will ruin anyone who is trying to start playing today Idk how that would be considered genre fatigue most of these games aren't even released or available for anyone other then content creators
Also they tried to abandon ultimate admiral dreadnought but there was so much backlash after the 1.0 release because the game wasnt finished and still isnt over a year after its 1.0 patch that they were forced to keep patching it....yet even now the game is still not finished...the campaign which is the main feature of the game slows down to a crawl, the ai makes completely terrible ship designs, the turn based nature of the campaign works against it being a strategy game as most of what happens in the campaign is outwidth your control as an example, if a Submarine attacks your fleet, you have no way of ensuring that submarine gets sunk, and the ai can keep slowing your game down with constant submarine attacks bc whether or not you sink them is a complete dice roll
Honestly I tried to like level zero but it just doesn’t do it for me. I feel like I’m shooting tooth pick from the pistols and there is no umf on impact. It’s just all around trash to me
If you live in Ukraine and tell somebody in the West "oh, can't work right now, cause of the war" nobody will question that. It's as simple as that. We live in a day and age where discourse is dying because you're not allowed to question things which are considered sensitive topics. Do I think these guys were being bombed at their offices? Not really, did they hear from a friend of a friend about office bombing? Maybe.
It sucks that using early access as a way to gauge interest is kind of broken; if you release something that's so far from what it should be, and no one buys it, you decide to kill the project. So what otherwise could have been a great game never got to get there because you pushed something that's bare bones at best. Really wanted twisted path to be something great, and it could, but the devs have to choose the hard road... the twisted path.. as it were. Sigh
@@Nevario1 there are many cases of devs putting out projects in early access to see how people respond. If positive, they keep working, invest more and develop the project, if there's a negative reaction, they at times, lose interest or switch to something else. Meaning a project that people don't immediately like may not see the development course that a project people are really in to will. It's all up to them though. I'm a big supporter of this particular project, I really like it, personally, they are still working on it, despite the overwhelming negative reviews & I really hope they continue to do so. I think this game could become something awesome.
this is like a small studio that has way too many games in development while also running an mmo. Ultimate Admiral Dreadnoughts was a disappointment, they came out of early access but it feels the same, every update breaks the savegames and then they try and quickly get some money via multiplayer dlc before they drop support. This is gonna go the same way. I understand that they are in a tough spot but then why work on so many games at the same time and pissing off your entire audience instead of working on one and making money that way. They basically have the only age of sail mmo but that also has stagnant support and a lot of p2w and people arent happy about it.
Maybe these devs are getting some good ole fashioned US government cash injection for their war effort 😅 Only explanation for how they fund all these mid games.
I have friends in the Ukraine, they had to give up ther jobs to go fight and a some lost there lives ! So why are these people not off fighting or making drones or being medics? If it was the best game in the world I would not buy it on the fact alone there of military age and not helping there country fight for there freedom. Pray for the people of the Ukraine and the World. Peace
Instead of making a single player game, with multiplayer, co-op, 16 maps, several game modes, customisable characters. Now you buy a game, full price, 1 map, 1 mode, pay 2 win mechanics, nonstop skins being shoved in the game currency, it's cancer. It's unreal to me that young kids think they are getting a good deal. This game looks garbage. Like a cheap take on Hunt Showdown.
So it's actually funny... this "game labs" dev... actually makes some really decent historical games.... The ultimate admiral and general games are decent.... but they don't finish games. Some of them are good but unfinished. People even said in the "this land is my land" reviews that the game was pretty good and they really enjoyed it..... but not finished.
This Land is My Land was developed by the same company but a different dev team. So, sending ire to this dev team does nothing to the ones who were developing/still slowly working on This Land is My Land.

Based on fact that there’s only 2-3 functional and playable extraction shooters, one of which is managed so badly it’s basically a shitpost, id say the “fatigue”, if you can call it that, is pretty valid
honestly the SPT mod for tarkov is super cool. Been playing non stop and not even touching other games
same here. Imho SPT does it better than live EFT and I can very well live with not having human opponents, especially as I'm not able to invest the necessary time
@@manu070380 the fun doubles when u have a buddy to play with! using FIKA mod :)
To be honest Ultimate Admiral Dreadnought is a really good game, there are few games where you can build your ship and take it into battle.
Have you tried from the depths?
for anyone who is reading/watching this, and has even a slight interest in a wild west extraction shooter.
Hunt Showdown its just the best extraction shooter for me!
If you're not satisfied, it's better not to bother. This is already bad. Don't do it.
Ultimate General American Revolution was out in early access on their website so I’m pretty sure they just bundled the two at the same time
Also I believe the company isn’t solely Ukrainian and may have different developing teams outside of Ukraine with twisted path being made by this Ukrainian group
Good vid dude. Fair criticism.
Some corrections-
Game is on unity not unreal.
Later recruits have much better speeds along with food to buff. Holstering weapons also makes you move much faster.
Map is 3x3km.
Update from today from devs- QOL update based on feedback coming soon.
Interesting about the Unreal - Unity thing. I could have sworn I read multiple times that it was on Unreal.
@@BigfryTV no problem yh they said Unity a while ago to us when asked directly.
Btw it didn't seem to save my comment properly - according to Hangman (one of the devs) its the same studio but not the same dev team working on this game as the others. For example its Draku's first game (dev for this).
2:36 that is smoke cloud coming out of that gun. Guns back in 1899 worked with black powder. Black powder creates a ton of smoke, look it up on YT, the smoke clouds are gigantic. Modern guns use a compound that has way less smoke but back in the day they didn't have the tech for it
The game has a lot of potential. I do like modern guns but I love the old guns and this era is really untapped. Mostly extraction looter shooters are set in modern times, this is much more interesting
And I don't think there's an extraction looter shooter fatigue but an early access extraction looter shooter fatigue. I just wanna play a game that's got content. Takes most of them years to get the game into a state where the content and mechanics are good enough to play
Numerous Ukrainian dev teams have been doing this where they stop development due to the war but start pushing out new games.
source?
@@olic7266cheenosh?
That cloud was what happens when you shoot a black powder gun of that time the smoke is so thick you can't see threw it for atleast 10-15 seconds irl, newer gun powders and fast burning powders dont do this but old school black powder does
He just doesn't get that guns back then were horribly unreliable and using subpar materials because that's what they had at the time... It was relatively 'new.' Even then, they took liberties in the game design since 'suppressors' didn't really exists until the early 1900s. This is based in 1899, and the 'suppressor' wasn't commercially viable/available until like 1902.
just watch war of rights when you shoot because then you can't see anything and the smoke is more real.
The community is nice imo
They abandoned "This Land is my Land" which is a fair point, this was something i discovered later on.

That's redundant. You can just say "early access game"; the cash grab is implied.
Sad cause their first game was so good. If theyd just expanded on that theyd be fine.
Since i played This land is my land i totally expected something sus... :D
This game is very good, I'm having fun playing this. need more development but is very good.
I really enjoyed that level zero extraction or how it was called. Started out as the alien so wasnt really ready for that much darkness and creepiness playing as human.
You call it a cash grab but Kotton was loving it.
It's literally what people wanted Hunt to be lol.
This was really good and funny man. Subscribed. I think I’m gonna buy it for the laughs lol
extraction shooter fatigue? not nearly.. for so many years it was just tarkov.. now theres competition. let it fuckin roll
i will say the one thing i did enjoy seeing in this game is proper representation of black powder weapons. plumes of smoke is main reason black powder had to go.
This game has a potential. I really hope they won't leave it like the rest.
Graphics look like they are from the old Call of Juarez games...
Yea I hate that I payed 19.99 for a Wild West walking sim before it went to steam
There are a bunch of extraction shooters right now, but the vast majority of them are crap, half baked or just missing something.
Kudos to the devs. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)

I played this game a bit and one important thing at least in my play was the trade with other players which was essentialy broken. good thing i just got into these games, not burnt out at all! :D Still waiting for the #1 - Marathon
Can we just have a Cowboy styled Battle Royale with the style of Red Dead Redemption and gameplay of PUBG?
This is the kind of game where if it was more developed, had more features/systems, had a larger player base and most importantly was actually fun to play, then it could be really cool.
I’m all about fun janky games. But it actually has to be fun, and be a game
that's a black powder gun.... just like musket. And their ultimate general games are surprisingly decent.
Well, welcome to the extraction shooter fatigue, by yours truly crafting and survival game fatigue.
NO WAY...
Anyway, like I say to every Early Access game I come across :
'Kay...see you in 5 years...if you're still there".
Dahm he just shit on my favorite game R.I.P
I love the setting and style of game but this needs ALOT of work and it’s unlikely it will get completed but I wish them the best
I was waiting for you to talk about this game, thanks
Dude this review is fucking spot on. I am in their discord and their fanboys are having a fit, well done good sir. I am going to subscribe in hopes that you will continue to pulverize these incompetent game developers who push games to an EA state without fundamental bugs being ironed out.
Its the latest hype train to make an extraction shootet. Nice to see a unique one, pity it's ass
Looks like Wish/Temu Hunt: Showdown with the walking speed of “over encumbered” from Fallout.
Hopefully they'll update the games now they got more money, but I'm probably just huffing copium..
just play hunt showdown it's goated!
You should do an updated video on Vigor 😊
The problem with extraction shooters is a couple of things… 1. it’s too exclusive, meaning it’s either always on PC only (no crossplay) or stuck in beta/rumored releases. 2. The player base divided between skilled issue (pve only, casual noobs) and non skilled issue (pvpve legit players). The devs don’t know who to cater to. And 3. BRs, milsims and survival PvPvE games is more readily available and lots of content. I think dmz spoiled the casuals so if the devs make a legit extraction shooter with realistic capabilities such as inventory system, backpack, looting, gear, weapons etc. casuals can’t wrap their brains around it since the learning curve might be more difficult.
oh no .... a crosshair? -.- ... "immersive" my ass
I don't even play FPS anymore and that's all I used to play. I'm burnt out.
They just keeping copying each other and worse than previous ones
Only the surface of extraction shooter
I'd suggest that's the same across the game industry. CoD just keeps releasing the same thing year over year. CS:GO and R6:Siege are the same genre. There's a million battle royale's out there. Extraction shooters are just another FPS genre to add to the pile of overdone genres. Arguably though, Extraction shooter are much fresher as they really started to become popular after PUBG.
I think if a game is good, people will play it. It doesn't matter if there's 12 other games already in the same genre. It's hard to be innovative at this point, everything is copying each other to some extent.
lol "Heat" all over again
It's a bit of a shame really, cause Game Labs has actually produced some legitimately good games in the past, but I feel like these days the studio lacks any sense of focus or direction.
i was hoping for some hunt showdown competition. but this didnt work.
The battle royal effect.
Throw it in the bin with exfil, l33t, level zero, and yes even gzw
HE WASNT WRONG!!
Twisted path to renown is about a year into EA and has seen no improvement
8 months 7 devs
Honestly I tried to like level zero but it just doesn’t do it for me. I feel like I’m shooting tooth pick from the pistols and there is no umf on impact. It’s just all around trash to me
If you live in Ukraine and tell somebody in the West "oh, can't work right now, cause of the war" nobody will question that.
It's as simple as that.
We live in a day and age where discourse is dying because you're not allowed to question things which are considered sensitive topics. Do I think these guys were being bombed at their offices? Not really, did they hear from a friend of a friend about office bombing? Maybe.
just give me a coop GAMMA -esque game and I wont see daylight for at least 6 months
stalker GAMMA? the best free experience possible! Im hyped for the new stalker
Twisted indeed
I honestly was excited for this! seems like a very junky game. staying with Hunt Showdown.
It sucks that using early access as a way to gauge interest is kind of broken; if you release something that's so far from what it should be, and no one buys it, you decide to kill the project. So what otherwise could have been a great game never got to get there because you pushed something that's bare bones at best. Really wanted twisted path to be something great, and it could, but the devs have to choose the hard road... the twisted path.. as it were. Sigh
The game is still in development? what are you talking about? It's not abandoned.
@@Nevario1 and that's not a rule, or how it is, it's just a common scenario that I hope does not happen with this title.

this is like a small studio that has way too many games in development while also running an mmo.
Bought it and played for 15 mins then contact the customer support who was happy to refund me.
Maybe these devs are getting some good ole fashioned US government cash injection for their war effort 😅 Only explanation for how they fund all these mid games.
