What a wonderful tribute video to one of the best actors to ever grace the silver screen! It's impossible to pick a favorite movie because every one of them was equally as great. I remember how sad I was when I heard he passed away. It was horrible and him being so young, just totally unexpected. If there were ever one actor that could miraculously be brought back to us, I would wish it to be John Candy. I have missed him since the day he left. Thank you, Chris, for such a wonderful look into his life!
@flocosta thank you so much for checking it out Flo!!! Absolutely means alot and I agree with everything you said. Scott on tape had the chance to meet him and I wish I would have had that chance. John seemed like such a genuine, funny, gidted talent. Appreciate you watching and hope you have a wonderful weekend!!!! Chris

@patriciahall2223 very cool that you live right near there. I agree, just love Candy and could just imagine him walking down the street, going to school, the theater, there was a barber a couple doors down from the theater that used to recall cutting Johns hair.....yes, SCTV was classic. Such a huge loss for all of us that he left so soon. Really appreciate you checking out the video and sharing that info, love hearing from people. And thx for the positive feedback. Ttys, Chris
I was a teenager in my 19 working for a company called Cliffside. I was working on Avenue Road just before BAY ST I was using a jackhammer Breaking up the road when I felt a tap on my shoulder it was John, Candy and Michael Keaton asking if they could take a picture using the jackhammer. of course, I said yes, and I gave him the Jackhammer Michael Keaton Took the picture, then John Candy asked Michael Keaton if he could take a picture of me and John Candy he put his hand on my shoulder both of us holding the jackhammer.they both left one hour later John Candy return with the box of donuts he was a nice person
