I love the way D100 Dungeon in its own way brings the best rules of D&D, 4AD, DCC and Dungeon World into 1 game system. And now D100 Dungeon has way to play it with multiple players. Wish I could see many many more UA-cam playthroughs of D100 Dungeon.

The 4AD expansions and higher level game play gets crazy fun. I've spoken with Andrea the publisher and he has confirmed they have many books in the pipeline, eventually one every month.

Thanks for the video. I have been playing 4ad for awhile now, its one of my favorite games, but doesnt hold up well on a lunch break. I never heard of d100 until now and it sounds like what I'm looking for inbetween my 4ad sessions. Thanks, will definitely give it a go.

I owned Four Against Darkness and i so much love it. Havn't try D100 dungeon though. My first game of FAD took me a lot of hours because i did play it on a 8 1/2" x 11" grid sheet and to understand the book and where to look at. But now with a 20 x 28 grid, it take me around an hour to complete a dungeon.

I just picked up D100 I started with four against Darkness so far I love the 100 has almost the same feel of four against Darkness but it's a little bit more free, story-wise I love playing Cairn
It's more of a RPG but I can infuse that with D100, specially when it comes to using the three stats to do something as long as I roll below the stat.

Hello from Quebec. Great 'short' reviews. I just started to play 4AD yesterday. My interest got picked on reddit when I heard that the game designer had to leave Ukraine... I tried the game, loved it and bought 8 of his books (official adventures & supplements). I have added D100 Dungeons on my next game to try.

One thing I didn't realize about D100 Dungeon until after purchasing: The author doesn't allow you to print anything from the PDF. So be forewarned.
Fortunately I had ordered a print-on-demand version at the same time, but not everyone did so before the revelation.
I saw the disclamer on drivethru rpg so that saved me
I believe he has since updated that and you can now have it printed as he released the print lock on the PDF. Which is awesome as I like to have mine spiral bound and printed on card stock. Cost me about $10 to have it printed and bound on card stock at Office Max
@@vanbeekbr - Thanks! Even though I own the D100 Dungeon core book on DTRPG, there is no download link. It just says, "You Own This" (paraphrasing) but no D/L and it's not showing in My Library. I got the physical book at the same time, of course. Guess he pulled it from DTRPG, or is .. revising it all?

I've just found out about Four Against Darkness for the first time... great little game. I ran it solo... now I'm thinking to run it as a light RPG for my boys, and build up a little story as we play along with the basic game. Will definitely have to check out D100 as well!

Hey Rob, have you ever taken a look at Ironsworn? It looks along the same lines as D100 and 4AD.

I've been playing the D100 Dungeon campaign from the first expansion over the last few days, I wonder whether that was made in response to comments about lack of a story? Haven't tried 4AD, is it worth a shot even though D100 is scratching every itch at the moment?

I printed d100 out and put it in page protectors with book tabs due to all the chart flipping.

I've come to learn that I need a story to play through. Even with games that have minis, etc, if they just have random dungeon crawls with no narrative campaign - then I feel like I'm just playing for the sake of playing. It doesn't really like a game to me at that point, just an exercise.

Well, isn't there a reason for them to be in the dungeon? You can always come up with some back story right?

The base 4AD has no story. Only the expansions do..which are not necessary to play the base game.
