I was dehydrated once. And I almost passed out and it was weird. Everything went pitch white and I couldn’t see I was blind! And then all I could hear was muffled voices of people talking. And then there was a loud ringing and I could hear my heart beating through my ears! It was so scary it lasted about six minutes

  • @XxXShevampXxX
    @XxXShevampXxX 6 років тому +427

It's a scary feeling, that's for sure. The first time it happened to me was after a big blood draw for some tests. The nurse was right in front of me though and they had that smelly stuff they put under your nose to help you regain consciousness. When I came to, my entire body was literally drenched in sweat, to the point I thought I had actually peed on myself (I didn't lol). The second time it happened was in a gas station bathroom. I was having some really severe stomach problems at the time and the just got so bad that I actually passed out. A gas station bathroom isn't exactly the ideal place to lose consciousness, trust me on that one. The doctor's just said it was from the extreme pain causing my blood pressure to bottom out suddenly. I woke up drenched that time too so maybe that's something everyone experiences when they faint. It's pretty scary, especially if you're someone uncomfortable with feeling out of control.

    • @MrJerrytheSlime
      @MrJerrytheSlime 5 років тому +10

XxXShevampXxX I agree it’s scary. For some reason I’ve fainted a couple time but it was when I would get a shot and even then I think it’s just a certain shot because I’ve never fainted for any other shots in the past. I can’t stand when I don’t have control over my body so every time I wake up I freak out from passing out. I feel like I make it worse when I get that shot and then it affects my arm weirdly in a way it kinda scares which causes my sudden rise in blood pressure.

my class went to the school’s chapel to pray. then i heard one of my classmates fall. my instant thought was, “i think he accidentally fell while kneeling.” but when i turned and looked at his face, his eyes’ pupils weren’t visible and he made a noise. the sister quickly went to him, checked his heartbeat, and called the nurse from her walkie-talkie. we ended up praying outside the chapel while my classmate was taken care of. when we went back to our classroom, the sister explained that this wasn’t the first time for him to pass out. she said the cause was he was overheated.
i feel so bad for this guy because this wasn’t the first time. he once passed out during mass.

Passed out once while I was walking. Hadn’t drank water or eaten in a day and ran nearly six miles that morning. I’ve had a few episodes of the same thing. It always starts with feeling so absolutely sick I feel like I’m dying. I feel like I need to sit down. My vision starts getting out of focus and dark and I feel dizzy. My eyes feel like they’re going to explode and my ears immediately start burning as if they’re on fire. Pressure builds in my ears and my hearing begins to fade. My face burns up and next thing I know I’m dreaming. I heard yelling in my sleep and woke up with my battle buddies yelling for help and I had no clue what was happening. I do remember being kind of angry that I was awoken because I had thought I was actually sleeping. The next ten to fifteen minutes are me going in and out of the same process, feeling unimaginably nauseous. The next day I was talking with my friend who had initially helped me. He told me he saw me just collapse and begin twitching, he thought I was having a seizure so he opened my mouth in fear of me swallowing my tongue. Scary stuff!

I remember one day. I was playing with my friends. Because I run with my head down. It's more likely for me too faint. Anyways. We were playing it. I was running away from my best friend. Who was it. He then got me. I started to feel light headed. My hands were going hot. My eyesight going blury.
"What's happening to Me? Am I dying..? Why am I seeing colours?" Then I fell to the ground unconscious
"Bro listen to Me!" I remember my friend said. "Teacher! Teacher! My friend passed out!
All I heard were people going silent. Stomping feet.
    "Get the paramedic!"
Finally. I was awake. I was at home, my mum was there beside me. Crying. When she saw me awake. She hugged me tight. And gave me a cup of hot chocolate.
I hope I never pass out again.

He even states that nothing really happens in the few seconds your out, and everyone is different, so you can't really generalize what they experience. However, we can medically describe what happens during the process of passing out, and that's what he has done and meant by the title. Not to be rude, really, I just wanted to clarify. I fainted today for the first time. I got up to hug my dad after pausing my UA-cam video. I passed out while hugging him my parents told me. I remember hearing and seeing the UA-cam video I was just watching before blackness filled my view and I heard my dad say something and my mom saying "I think she fainted". I opened my eyes to see my parents looking at me concerned. I had no idea if I was dreaming or not since I remembered the video I was watching, but then I was like "maybe the UA-cam video was a dream but how did I get here on the floor?" Once I was carried onto the couch I remembered exactly what I was doing. I was hugging my dad. My older brother saw the whole thing too. I think he was more concerned then my parents.

Same happened to me. It happened in 3rd grade tho ao the door handle carved up a deep and huge hole on my forehead. You could almost see the skull.
Naturally I covered the hole with my hands. It felt realøy wet, so I decided to check for myself of there was any blood.
I was shocked to find oit my whole hand was red from blood. I couldnt feel anything but my heartbeat. It felt like it was in my head.
I walked to my classroom (which was only a couple of meters away), to see the wound in the mirror. The last thing I remember was turning my head around to see the wound. And all of a sudden all was black.

I passed out in second grade here’s my story .
It was a hot day and of course that meant recess !
Once we were done all our work we went outside and it was pretty hot but I did not mind
The horrible thing is teachers were allowed to bring there water bottles outside but kids aren’t allowed to 🙄
But once we went back inside i was SWEATING and my legs were hurting I thought I just needed to sit down bc I had a lot of energy back then and I liked to run ! So few minutes later I started felling dizzy and seeing black and I felt like I had to go to sleep
And I fell over my AMAZING bffs helped me up and told the teacher I was passing out and the teacher told them to tell the nurse that I was passing out but there little 2nd grade body’s told the teacher that I was dying 😂 the nurse ran to the hallway (I forgot to mention we were getting drinks from the water fountain) and she came and took me to the nurse office and we got water and the ambulance was already there 🤣 and I was fine but I rlly hate that school for making kids suffer they should of been sued

A lot of public schools are like that actually have no idea why. When I was in elementary they would not let you go back to the cafeteria if you forgot your jacket in there. Also once they let you outside they wouldn't let you go back inside unless you had to use the bathroom.

I passed out twice recently (give or take about a week ago) my mom was suspicious of me having cannabis. I had been caught with it once and my family made the largest ordeal about it. To keep short, many events that proceeded were a bit rough for me to the point of being, what many call, "scared straight". It's been 3 years over, and with this quarantine going on, I guess that I'm behaving the same as when I was smoking. I.E. keeping to myself in my room, not talking much to my family (as it seems we've exhausted all topics), and only coming out for food and exercise. As I come to the kitchen to make myself some breakfast tacos, I notice my mother there too. We chat a bit and the conversation led to her asking if I have been smoking again. I tell her truthfully that I wasn't. Though we don't bring it up much, I get extremely nervous and stressed when speaking upon this topic with her, can't help it. Even more with me just waking up; feeling vulnerable in a way. My reaction to her asking is probably what queued her to ask again, but more pressingly and followed by a description of my "behavior". As she spoke, I began to feel light-headed and a bit like I was maybe about to throw up. All of a sudden I'm on the ground; not knowing why I'm down, not knowing where I was, and not knowing what was going on. As I come back into consciousness, I try to ask my mom those questions. After a couple of seconds, I remember what's happening. Her crying and yelling me even more scared. I felt a goosebumping sensation and, what do you know, I'm out again. Same confusion getting up but now my sister is in the room calming down my mother. My mother tried to interrogate me again. I had finally decided to sit down as to not fall again (really hurt my right knee). Her reason to press on was that "a sober person shouldn't just pass out randomly" also claiming that my pupils were large and that I had to explain the "truth" (As if I were using other drugs). She's calmed down a bit more after searching my room thoroughly and finding nothing. We're not speaking much yet, but now I hope to show her this to calm her down.

I get extremely light headed when I get stressed, anxious, mad or scared. My head goes numb, my vision blurs and I can’t balance very well. Sometimes I feel like I’ll pass out during that.
Note: I don’t drink, smoke or use drugs and I haven’t done any of that for over a year. I have psychiatric damage from a previous overdose so that’s probably why. The overdose was not a typical overdose; I took a lot of max. legal dose lithium. The fact I survived and I’m not on dialysis still shocks me to this day. I’m Including this info because I’ve had to explain this to many people. This is just how my brain reacts and I can’t control that. It’s part of my disabilities and that can never be changed… there is no cure and there’s no treatment to lessen it. One time I _briefly_ passed out.
    STORYTIME!
I had broken my elbow in a gymnastics accident and had surgery to repair the bone since it was a serious break. A few days after the surgery, I needed to shower. The doctors advised me to not take a full on shower without help. My mother decided to give me a sponge bath, it would be easier for us both.
As she was doing it, I felt super cold and started to feel kind of dizzy. my stomach hurt a bit and I didn’t think much of it.
Very soon after I started feeling bad, the dizziness got worse. I started panicking a little and immediately told my mom. She had me sit down on the bath ledge, but sitting down didn’t help.
So she stood me back up and as soon as I got up, my vision started being weird. Things were slowly going dark and my vision was static. You know how a TV goes static when there’s no signal? Yeah, that’s what my vision was, no joke. I could hear the static sound too. I’m not kidding.
She took my arms and slowly walked me to my bedroom. I walked for maybe 2 seconds before it all went dark and I went limp. I didn’t fall, my mother held me up. I quickly woke up as my passing out was very brief, and got into my bedroom and laid down. I felt awful. My head and stomach was hurting.
After awhile of laying down, I felt okay again. I don’t know what caused me to pass out, maybe the water was too cold or the water was quickly evaporating off of me since I wasn’t submerged in water because of my mom giving me a sponge bath. Maybe it had something to do with the surgery? No clue, but I know that it was NOT fun.

I once had a seizure because of an injection I received for my hives.
It honestly hurt so much where the injection was and I complained about it going/getting into the car and while my mom was driving us home. Then suddenly I felt really sleepy, I said that.
The whole time I was speaking to my mom telling her, "It really hurts, it really hurts....I feel sleepy...." And then I closed my eyes and succumbed to it. I honestly thought I was just suddenly sleepy because I had not slept the night before because the hives were so bad and I had rode a 4 hour bus ride earlier to get back home from college to deal with this illness at home. I never had an allergy reaction before so I didn't know what to do and rode back home, classes had already ended for the semester so it was fine.
When I succumbed to sleeping, everything was dark and kinda heavy. But then I could hear my mom screaming my name over and over again. I then suddenly woke up, it was like a fresh breath into my lungs and kept repeating, "what? what? I'm okay!" and she was still driving us (I don't know how she didn't serve the car off the road) but she was looking at me scared and said I was convulsing and I just had a seizure.
I looked at my little sister in the back seat, she just stared at me and was scared too.
I no longer had the pain from the injection but I felt so weak. So to prevent myself from passing out I downed some gatorade I had and scarfed down a candybar.
It was quite an experience. It's really not scary, just so peaceful. I seriously thought it was just me going to sleep. :(

Depends on the cause of passing out.
When I passed out from low blood pressure after standing too long, my vision went to black dots, to completely black, but I was still standing and conscious. My legs felt weak, so I gave in to them trying to collapse, was out for about 2 seconds, and I hit the deck.
I have a heart condition called sinus node dysfunction - my heart can go too fast and too slow - and when I’ve passed out because of it, I suddenly lose consciousness and hit the deck. I’m generally out for about 15 seconds.

My experience is that the first thing I noticed was that I was light-headed, and then slowly ny vision starts to turn redish rather than white. Yes, red and it slowly turns to black until that's all I could see. The sound was becoming more muffled and my body slowly starts to get tingles until I was numb and my breath was very shallow. I suddenly felt this weird wave, my vision was distorted my legs went numb, I felt sick to my stomach. I felt very light headed. Last thing I could remember was taking my gloves off and leaning forward over then bench and my friends asking if I am okay. When I woke up I was lying on the ground and my teacher was there trying to give me water, I later found out that he saw my body language had changed, and he caught me when I fell backwards. and the rest of the classroom was empty because
My other teacher had guided the other students into the classroom next door. I am pretty sure I have blood pressure issues which would explain my circumstance. I just know that this is going to be something that I will look back on and laugh about someday, even though this is probably one of the most embarrassing events I have ever yet experienced.

I just got my wisdom teeth taken out and afterwards while sitting on the couch I suddenly got really dizzy, the next thing I remember my boyfriend was shaking me asking me if I was okay and if he needed to call 911 😭 when I came to I had no idea what was going on, I felt very hot and nauseous. It took a little while to feel normal. lol I guess I passed out from lack of food (not allowed to eat 12 hours before surgery) all the medicine in my system and from the pain. It was very scary. Especially for my boyfriend 😂 he said my eyes were open the whole time, but I was totally unconscious.

    Never again.

I've never lost consciousness in my life until about 3 minutes after being stung by a bee (was out for about 5 seconds, and disoriented for the following 10 seconds).
Pretty sure it was that rise in blood pressure followed by a drop, probably from an adrenaline dump because I woke up hot and covered in sweat.

It's the weirdest feeling ever. I've passed out twice. The first time was the day after I had my wisdom teeth removed so I didn't have much to eat and my blood sugar was too low. I was standing there and had the worst nauseous feeling and my heart was pounding so weird and slow. You can't focus either its like you get confused. The next time it happened my period was on and I had a bad cold. I was showering in very hot water to try to feel better and by the time I remembered I was experiencing the symptoms from the first time I had already passed out. Luckily I didn't hit my head when I fell. Glad it doesn't happen anymore.

I have a couple stories. My parents always underfed me because they didn't want me to get fat. We had this thing where if I didn't get all chores done by a certain time in the morning before school, we didn't get breakfast. This happened often. I almost passed out due to low blood sugar once. I didn't get to eat dinner the night before because I "was in trouble". The next morning I almost passed out because of how little food I had eaten on the last 12 hours. I also recently got a navel piercing, a nose piercing, and a tattoo in the same night. I sent eaten much that day, and after rieciving much trauma I almost passed out from low blood pressure, as my body thought It was being attacked. After eating some food i was fine.

I passed out today. I shaved under my throat, hooked the little birthmark and it started bleeding, I started to panic because I hate seeing blood and maybe after 15-20 seconds I regained consciousness and saw myself lying on the floor. Thank to God I don't have any serious injury, just one little scratch on elbow.

2:20 Ooh this is what happens to me! I have blacked out when getting up too fast a few times. I also feel light-headed and have to grab onto the nearest surface to avoid fainting at least once a week. I've also fainted due to painfull period cramps a few times. I just thought it was normal since it happens to me a lot but I guess not lol

I passed out when doing my difficult GREAT project... There are so many things on my bed. I woke up at 4:00 am. 2 hours before school. There are sharp pencils under my leg and there's NO WAY I could sleep like that. Idk what happened to me. I can't even remember that I'm lying on my bed. So, I then thought about what happened last night but I'm sure, I can't sleep without praying. Did I passed out?

I was in a movie theater today and I felt really hot and light headed so I went to walk outside and felt horrible so I went to go to the bathroom because it was closer and was going to sit down and use wet paper towels to cool my head down. I saw 3 parts of my life I saw me leaving the theater room then I couldn't see anything not even darkness and then I woke up again in the middle of the hallway kept going but I couldn't walk I was going back and forth with no balance and then I blacked out again woke up a second later and saw my head slam on the bathroom door frame and land on the floor luckily I caught myself before I hit the ground. But it was such a weird feeling suddenly going blind but still hearing the faint voices of people.

I’ve passed out before and had many other times where I felt like I was going to. I know another reason it happens is from your knees locking up. My doctor told me to sit down, have water or Gatorade, and a snack (preferably sugar) and this has helped every time.

It was a few days ago. I decided to go to a nightclub with my colleagues, but the problem was that I hadn't eaten for hours. We had fun for a while and I decided to sit down and take a rest, because I was up for like an hour. As soon as I got off the chair, my vision got blurred and I didn't know where I was. The only thing that I remember are my friends getting me out of the place. Thank God, there were heartful people who helped me and I wasn't hospitalised. I don't wish anybody to experience such a thing!

some advice from an ex band student, if you're going to be out in the heat make sure you don't eat anything with milk prior, far as I remember it'll curdle in your stomach and make you sick. if your class doesn't have them invest in an extra large water bottle, those bucket style ones, you'll probably drain it at least twice daily during the summer heat

Bobby Games If you were standing in the same spot for a while, it may be because you locked your knees, which after too long can cut off blood flow to the brain.

I do one thing to pass out
1 step: I sit and hyperventilate deeply
2 step: stand up after you feel dizzy and hold your breath.
You should pass out after like 5 to 10s or less
I forgot to say that you kinda need to sit for a while so just get your popcorn and wait until you think its time.

Once I was in 4th grade, and we were watching a video about the heart. During it, I felt sick and lightheaded. Afterwards, I asked our teacher to go to the nurse. I got up from my desk, walked a few steps, and passed out. I still remember it, and I'm still embarrassed about it to this day.

My friend and I literally had a 5 minute argument about whether or not dirt and soil were the same things.....
    also,
    "Dust evaporates in water!!"
    My friend, 2019
According to her, *dust* can _not only_ evaporate, but does so while submerged in water......all of the people at my table and the table next to us looked at her with a very confused expression on our faces.
Also sometimes I just stand up and then almost fall over because I was light-headed and dizzy (like the one time I forgot how I got from the kitchen to the living room and was confused for a second lol)

watching this because i fainted while i was out cycling today and i think it was due to dehydration. i went to cycle alone without drinking any water before i left my house. halfway, my legs were really tired and i was sweating like crazy. my heart rate was really fast too so i stopped my bike under the shade and sat on my bike with my legs on the ground. suddenly, my vision became so blurry that i felt like i was going to collapse anytime. knowing that, i stood up and got off the bike and just left the bike leaning onto a fence. at this moment, i felt really dizzy and dehydrated so i grabbed the fence and leaned on it so that i won’t collapse on the ground. the next moment i found myself on the ground. i don’t even know how that happened. it was so quick and after collapsing i just sat on the ground with my head between my knees. there was someone walking towards me so i tried my best to stand up but again my vision was still blurry and i couldn’t see a thing. i could not even cycle anymore so i tried to walk back home with my bike. halfway the walk i realised i dropped my glasses while collapsing earlier so i dragged the bike back to the place i fainted and tried to find the glasses... and found myself sitting on the ground again because my body could no longer take it... lesson learnt.. next time i’m gonna make sure to drink water before i cycle or bring along a water bottle.

Passed out today, because I didn't eat for more than a day. I was alright this morning but when I got to school my stomach started hurting but I brushed it off until we had a flag raising, while the teacher was talking my vision got blurry and suddenly it felt like I went asleep and my body just felt so light. I felt a time skip until someone "woke" me up and it was just black and I heard muffled voices
