This is not a car youtube channel, and this is not a full test but ...let me just share 3 days of experience in 3 different driving modes, when driving BMW 330e.
FINAL RESULTS for BMW 330e:
Day1 - 33 km: Hybrid Mode, battery empty
City drive in traffic, B Roads, usual daily drive
consumption: 10.6l / 100km
Day2 - 14.9 km: Sport Mode, battery full charge
B Roads, dynamic and sporty drive
consumption about 13l / 100km
Day3 - 26.8 km: Hybrid Eco Mode, battery charged
Daily commute in City, B Roads and Highway
consumption: 0.6l / 100km
use of car navigation, getting full score for driving style
BMW 330e plugin Hxbrid Touring XDrive M Sport
all-electric range of up to 55 km (34 miles) WLTP
12.0 kWh battery (gross) and 10.4 kWh (usable/net)
0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 6.2 seconds
top speed of 214 km/h (133 mph)
all-wheel drive
charging from 0 to 80%: 2.4 h at 3.7 kW (16 A / 230 V)
system output: 185 kW (215 kW in a XtraBoost mode) and 420 Nm
a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine (135 kW/184 hp)

Great video, do you recommend Hybrid Eco Pro mode as the default driving mode ? Or would switching betrween Hybrid & Eco Pro be better depending on type of journey?
Thank you. 😀 For normal drive Eco Pro is just fine. Very relaxed and comfortable car in that mode. I am not car expert, this is exception on my channel😀

Thanks for the great video. Do you perhaps know the average consumption on a trip of 400 km in hybrid mode + navigation, starting with a full battery. And I'm interested in the following situation, for example: You leave home in hybrid mode, after 10 km in electric mode you need to overtake a truck, is the gasoline engine completely cold? Does the gasoline engine heat up while driving on electricity?
Sorry for my late reply, but to me the car was not very efficient once battery is empty. I would go for 6 cylinder or fully electric probably.
On part 3 (Eco mode) do you use adaptive cruise control?
No cruise control, but it uses radar to coast when no car in front or regenerative braking when car is in front or you get close to road crossing. You feel difference when remove your foot from the pedal.
Good review! What was the real world full battery range?
About 50km real world, eco pro mode
So does the combustion engine and the electric motor not work in combination?
They do, when you push the pedal for more power and for sure in extra boost in sport mode for maximum performance.
Will get my new company car mid of January. I cannot await...

which is better for efficiency, ecopro or all electric if you know you have enough charge to do all electric on your journey?
indeed not the best effiecency when in ecopro which is hybrid mode, this car is grerat for daily commute on electriy only and then weekend longer drivers with extra power to enjoy

Ive just taken delivery of of my g21 330e x drive… and I’ve noticed when the fuel tank is full, the max miles range is 250miles (including the fully charged battery)
Maybe I’m been naive, but this seems very low?
Any advice from 330e owners will be appreciated
I did not check the full tank range. After battery is empty you can expect about 10 liters per 100km, based on this fact you can estimate the real full range
it is low for me too, i;ve just recevied mine from a Jaguar wirth a much largewr tank and 600 mile diesel range, how are you getting on with it?
@@rayygun having lived with it since December, I can get up to 330 Miles if long journey.:: but average is 230 - 260 from full tank.
It does have a small fuel tank 35ltr so kinda makes sense
But the car is unbelievable
Do you regret buying the car now? For longer journeys you suggest getting a fuel or full ev
not bought the car, just tested, I think hybrid is double trouble. Got one EV and one diesel for now and happy with the options.
Can you do eco pro but about 80-100km trip?
Probably max arround 60 km, easy driving.

After 3 Months my average consumption is 3l/100km

@@PrintCloud correct. My work at the store is only 5km from my home. So I use mostly the electric capacity. Twice a week I drive a distance on the highway-autostrade and that needs the petrol engine with an average consumption 10-12l/100km
I got same values, about 10 litres for highway
Hello what the max range, driving without worry about the consumption???
I'm interested to buy or the 30e or the 30i my fear about the 30e is the low KMS range. Only 40l of capacity. In highways I normaly drive at 140km/h to 160km/h
Max EV range about 40-50 km, not highway, highway would be half
