My mom his selling her TT for a more practical daily car. This car taught me to drive (i know right) and has been with us through some shit, and it took the place of two other great audis. We will no longer have an audi in the house for the first time since around 2010, when i was about in 2nd or 3rd grade. I will miss all the good times our audi's have given us and the weird bond I made with this car. I will probably be back at this video to listen to that comforting startup revving i grew to understand as the sound of home. Thank you for this video.

Aus 2.0 Litern Hubraum 310 PS zu holen ist schon Wahnsinn und war vor nicht allzu langer Zeit undenkbar. Finde die Kombination Audi TT mit 310 PS sehr stimmig. Der TTRS soll ja über 400 PS leisten und wird damit schon ein echter Porsche-Konkurrent. Der 5-Zylinder ist ein echtes Alleinstellungsmerkmal.
i appreciate your description as that Fart sound is really putting me off but now i will test drive one and hopefully you are right about it sounding good in real life as all videos it does sound like a dam fart! lol
I have driven one and you get a fart (not as much at this TTS obviously) when you shift gear using the paddle. You get the most sound when you accelerate very much and quickly shift gear up at about 3500/4000 RPM. Sadly, not much sound when downgrading.

Allergings ist der S3 genauso schnell, klingt fast genauso gut und hat nicht nur mehr Platz, sondern meiner Meinung nach auch das bessere und ausgewogenere Fahrwerk....ruhiger und komfortabler, auch leiser. Daher plädiere ich heute weiterhin zum S3 als Limo..:)

DonOibinho Also beim A3/S3 gibt es ja Diesel-mäßig keine Alternative, daher lautet meine Antwortet, definitiv JA. Der Mehrverbrauch gegenüber einem 1.4 TFSI mit 150 PS ist moderat und die Leistung spielt in einer eigenen Liga, Richtung alter RS3. Beim 3er BMW oder auch A4 gibt es natürlich jeweils einen tollen 6-Zylinder Diesel und Benziner, da ist das Rennen deutlich enger, im Falle des BMW hat der Diesel sogar mehr Leistung und Drehmoment. Ein 335xd spielt kostentechnisch natürlich aber auch in der gleichen Liga wie der Benziner und lohnt sich erst ab 20k im Jahr, und klingt von außen lange nicht so dreckig wie der 335i (Option auf Performance Abgasanlage nicht zu vergessen)....kommt also immer auf das Angebot an...Ich fahre 40k km im Jahr mit dem S3 und bin außerordentlich zufrieden.
Funny. When it is still within the garage, you can hear the wastegate mechanism ringing ... it's a shame that AUDI does not get this fixed. My TTS has the same issue, the ringing sounds even worse (see my video). 65K€ sportscar sounds like a bag of screws ....
i want it to sound good so bad because i want one... but its just doesnt. my 5 cylinder volvo sounds 10x better. ugh i might actually change my choice of next car because all i can find is disappointing exhaust videos
It's got an alright sound. But coming from my Jaguar and my Ferrari, it's very subdued. I'd need an aftermarket exhaust to oepn it up as one of the first buys after purchase on one of these. Love the cars overall though, very nice design and good performance.
Color, always something to discuss ;) - I like the "bauhaus" touch of the 2 audi grey tones. A bit like Dieter Rams worked on the design...Wouldn't color a BMWs or Mercedes, or even not an Audi A6 - but, taking the interior design language of the TT(S) I must admit - this color is a masterpiece of design especially for this car :D (and yes I fully agree, we like boring, just have a look at our boring top speed on the Autobahn and the very boring 911 GT3 RS. You have to visit us ;)

The Acceleration in this cars is unreal. I've had mine for 3 months now. Love it.

With some cars we can do that as we drive them longer, with just 200 km and video shooting it's usually not very reliable to talk about consumption.

It is a bit faster, but the difference isn't that big compared to the S3. Surprisingly the S3 feels faster at higher speeds.

Der TTS war schon immer ein 4-Zylinder.....der TTRS hatte 5 und wird auch wieder mit 5 kommen.

If you have a 5 cilinder Volvo, why are you looking for a 4 cilinder tt? You can buy a 5 cilinder tt. It's name is tt rs. That's the sound for you.
