I am a Federal Skilled Worker - Outland, in past 4 years my work experience is of 3 years and 1 year of it is gap, due to economic recession and being laid off during the COVID Pandemic. As an Express Entry Candidate, when I make my profile and put my data and record, will this be a problem and disadvantage to have a gap year in my profile? I have total 3 plus years of experience, but will it be an issue or show the gap year in my profile? I have heard from some people that having a gaps in employment and especially 1 year gap will be a problem for a Federal Skilled Worker - Outland Candidate and IRCC does not give preference to such FSW Outland candidates. What options do I have? Looking forward to your guidance on this matter, please help.

There isn't any. If u try to opt in again, it will tell you have already done it.

My ex husband who has multiple theft charges, driving without insurance, charged but not convicted yet for 2 counts of assault and threat of bodily harm/ domestic violence, failure to appear in court, failed to complete the terms of his conditional discharge, and at the moment has 2 bench warrant in Ontario and Montreal. He got the PR because of me and after we separated, he renewed his PR and is not under review. I feel like he must be so lucky to even get PR in the first place. The fact that he has not been deported and PR renewal has not been declined is mind boggling to me.
when he had been convicted he already hold PR card or he took it after consideration of immigration department?
@vadimzhuravlev3814 it was a year before having PR (during application process) Then while waiting PR, he got convicted for assault and possession of stolen vehicle. It is a miracle that he is still here on PR.

2. Someone with PCC issued in 2021. But never left Canada after 2018, still needs new indian PCC for PR?
For your 2nd question, you can apply with the same PCC that you got in 2021 if you obtained it through BLS, and you never went back to India and stayed for more than 6 months.

dui will not get you out of canada automaticlly . it depends on circumastance of the case . how serious it is .
It will no matter the circumstance. If you get convicted it's 99% end of the chapter for at least 5 years. Avoid a conviction at all costs.
