I agree with Harry, I think some sun beds are really good but there also have to be beach parts without. Last year I was kinda confused about the „empty beach“. I am looking forward to see what changed in autumn.
We missed them suddenly last year, we went two days after each other to La Oliva beach, day 1 they were there day 2 they were all gone ! We went back to our hotel as we need a bed, so yes we want them back for the next time we will be back in Corralejo! Keep up the good work, enjoy your vids.
We used to love sitting at galera beach listening to Harry sing and then David ruin the vibe with his alan partridge dj sessions .😂 , as for sunbeds , yes I agree the beaches need them , nothing worse than being sand blasted whilst lay on the sand , going back to the hotel looking like a doughnut , also I understand some people prefer to lie on the sand too , so each to his own , oh and Harry have you learnt Harry styles sign of the times yet ???? Hoping ro hear you rock it when we're back in june .

I think a few sun beds is a great idea. The sun is so deceiving because of the wind, my sister and I both burned in march. It will definitely make the beach experience more enjoyable. Wish we were there now.
I haven’t been over since the pandemic, one of the reasons but not the only one is when they took the beds away. I loved the vibe down there at the beach bars. Coming over on Saturday I will definitely come and say hi if I see you around. Regards Simon.
We have missed the Galera being open as we enjoyed sitting there listening to you sing so hopefully it will re open soon & also disappointed that the benches were removed by the Marquesina in March as that’s a nice area to sit & relax. Look forward to being back at the end of September.
I really missed the Beach Bars at Grandes Playas this year. We used to enjoy a morning walk from the town, around the coastal path and across the Dunes. We used to stop at a tiny Bar which wasnt too far from the old Kite Surfing place for a couple of drinks, then walk onwards to the main Beach for lunch. On a positive note, we did discover Savanna Beach and Punta Elena on the coastal path which are both great little spots 🥗🍻🏖️
I agree with Harry: there needs to be some areas with sunbeds and beach bars but I believe the majority of the Corralejo sea front should be as nature wanted it. The litter problem is also a valid point more beach furniture brings more litter. I wonder if the local government are taking brown envelopes 😆 as it seems strange that Wakiki has so many beach tables etc and nobody else can have any! My mum is 60+ y.o. have got bad back and now issue with knee and really struggles without sun bed. I don't need beach bar but considering how large corralejo beaches are and how wide sun beds did not spoil the nature of them. Without sun beds back we won't be able to go back at all. Team bring back sun beds asap!
Fuerteventura is one of my best holiday places. I went last year with my girl and was gutted when we got a taxi to the best beach next too the RIU hotels, to find that the beach bar and sunbeds had gone.!! Will they also be returning to this beach by next May 2024. As for the litter problem, I agree and people should be more responsible and take the rubbish away with them and throw away in the nearest bin... Lets face it, they carried the bags down to the beach so surely they can carry it away.. More litter bins help..

Sorry I’ve only just heard about this so is the Wikki bar and restaurant open as I love the Sombreros they do. And yes it’s great to be on a sun bed and just go up to a beach bar and get a Tinto Verano or 4. I was really disappointed when they took away the bar down on Olivia beach as it was ideal and had toilets a few years back.
Hi there! Yes we would certainly like the beach bars back and also a few sunbeds on some parts of some beaches! Hate seeing lines and lines of them though. We get a sun bed as a treat, not very often. But if you aren't comfortable sitting on the sand and you want to relax on the beach, yes you will want a sun bed understandably. That will be us sooooon Janette and Tom 😂😂
I hope they are back by the 14th June I am bringing my partner there for his birthday and we can’t lay on the sand due to dodgy injured knees, lol. I love the area and came back in 2019 with my daughter and used sunbeds there.
Ile start an argument lmao 🤣 firstly it was probably me that said on fb they don’t want tourists on account of no sunbeds on the beach and the smelly seaweed 🤮lol Anyway as to the sunbeds debate as much as I get that people want it to look natural for someone who has been going corralejo for 9 years I miss the sunbeds as I’ve a chronic back condition plus have had a dodgy Mole so lying on sand all day with no brolly isn’t an option for me and me loving the beach I miss not spending hours on it .. anyway that’s my opinion 😂 see u in 4 weeks hopefully the sunbeds will be back in time ..oh and Harry we miss u singing outside galerra beach sat and listened to you many times let’s hope you’ll be back singing there soon 🤞 will give u both a yell out in June if we see you both 😜
I would'nt want to see the beaches over-run with them. Maybe have them in certain areas. To be honest, I haven't noticed any difference in the vibe of Corralejo. I cant wait to be there in 3 weeks.🙂

Hi guys well the beds a couple of years you could get 2 beds and an umbrella for 12 euros I'm here now in July and the hotel on the wiki beack are charging 10 euros a sun bed and 8 euro an umbrella so somebody is making a killing its a disgrace and I won't be coming back next year ivebeen coming 20 years 😢

I have heard that there is an mayoral election in May and if the present incumbent is dislodged the ban on sunbeds will be rescinded.However that is only hearsay. As for my position on the debate.Well the Galera Beach Bar has a world class view.However I cannot argue against Captain Canarias as he lives the beach environment on a daily basis.So put me down as an abstention.
Every time we come to Corralejo we spend several hours each week picking up plastic rubbish from the foreshore, so for me nature is best with limited sunbeds and definitely no bars on the beach, sorry but you asked!
The good lord provided us with a golden sand to get comfortable on, yet we choose to defy the lord by hiring sun beds, making money for the sunbed company. Oh I’d rather have no sun beds. I love the natural rustic look of the beaches. I love the terraces and the live music though . Oh I don’t cause anymore trouble now covid is over 😂😂 I used to love fighting over that blag virus. Bloody hell don’t get me started 😂😂 I’m mellowing in my old age 😂😂
