David Coverdale is a true gentleman. I had the honor to spend an evening with him and friends. Whitesnake was at it's peak and David was just a humble, funny and so polite.
I've met many famous musicians and singers and David is at the top, hands down. David Coverdale is a classy man.
Saw Whitesnake about 8 years ago north of Toronto and I never realized how funny and charming David was during his live shows.
I always thought he would be this self indulgent lead singer type. He's really humble and a total english gentleman. Amazing singer of coarse, and the band was also excellent.
A real Gentleman, and sweet grandfather !!! And beatiful man!!!!!!

I've met Plant, and there was no egotistical goings on there. He's amazingly down to earth -- a very nice guy.
Always loved David but this interview makes me love him even more. Awesome guy and singer. One of the best voices ever.
What an adorable interviewer and of course, her Grandfather is quite the gentleman and a sweet family man, too.
I have always heard that Coverdale was a true gentleman and all-around "good bloke." This confirms that.
P.S. He also has great teeth...and hair. Not bad for an over 60.

That is so true. I saw an article about Cher. It is more than I thought possible. People start to look really weird when they become addicted to plastic surgery. I have heard that it becomes addictive, like the way tattoos become for some people. Peace gotham.

I love this! Coverdale is the quintessential Englishman. These British rockers were heroes for me, the natural affinity for blues, rock and passionate performance. Such a sensitive and educated interview - thank you Miss Interviewer, Georgina!
Out of all the musicians in the whole world, Dave Coverdale is the one person I’d spend a day with. I wouldn’t want autographs, or him to tell me everything about Whitesnake (maybe a few things), but I’d have like coffee and ask him normal questions. He’s such a very peaceful and very calm man. I wish I have a grandfather like that!
My daughter (10 years old) watched this with me. She is a new Whitesnake fan now too. Still looking great David!

I think Mr. Coverdale is fascinating and such an iconic figure, not just in his music but also in life. I love listening to him. A great storyteller which translates to his art form. Great to see him with family.

having raised 4 sons and now my daughter who is the age of his granddaughter there is something between a mature man and a young girl that is trulybeautiful. To show a girl how a mature classy man acts and treats a girl with respect and love is so important for her self esteem. Always liked the class David showed. .

This is so sweet. I met David many many many moons ago in Los Angeles around 1988 (?), and he was sweet then too. He was an unusually thoughtful and kind person and spoke about his loved ones then at the time with real sincerity. We had quite a long conversation that always stuck w me. I'm so happy he's so happy and his family is just beautiful. A sweet smart soul.
Middlesbrough Art College is still there on Green Lane and Roman Road, and I love that the accent persists. It just does.
Place where he was born (me too) is still there too although it's a posh house now lol.

I watched this interview the other day and it keeps resurfacing in my head. Coverdale and his granddaughter for that mater are so amazing and enlightening. Listening to them makes you feel hopeful.
