I'm a Mopar man but this is probably one of the most beautiful Ford cars I've ever seen. My brother who is a die-hard Ford man and owns multiple Ford's & Mercury's sweet ride. One of my absolute favorite forge is the 1957 Fairlane retractable with Continental kit.
A beauty from the batcave, colour gourgeus like a 💎 Diamond lake sparkling water, wow what a car, i love this baby 🦇 🦇 thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 😊😊😊😊😊😊
This looks like a Ford made for the Canadian market. The taillights on this Wagon are Mercury taillights. The name Parklane is a Mercury model but used on the Canadian Fords. Even the interior dash is Mercury.
Now that’s what you call📱📞☎️ like 👍🏾 the Nature Boy Rick Flare would say “Styling and Profiling”. Now that’s another Antique, Classic and Vintage Collectible I would add to my collection. I would bring it out for a definite Cruise for a entire week and weekends, that’s when all of the Big 3 really, really, really, really, and I mean really had it going on back in the day along with the 60’s, and 70’s. I would definitely👍🏾💯💯👍🏾 choose that Fabulous 50’s Ford Parklane Wagon over Today’s new Rides including the SUV’s they build, make and manufacture today. Talk about being put down to SHAME. Sincerely Yours Truly Your Brother👨🏾👦🏾 from another Mother 👩🏽 Ivan I J P. S. They just don’t Create, Build, Make and Manufacture Rides like 👍🏾 that anymore Jay. Keep up the great work in finding and locating definite peaces of Americana Art Work just like 👍🏾 that ok👍🏾👌✅ Jay.
My family had one when i was a kid, but in two tone green I had to sit in the very back and those metal strips hurt your fanny if you didn't sit just right and if the car sat in the sun those things would get so hot. We lived in central Florida. and we finally got an AC car it was a 1964 Belair wagon my parents bought with the third back facing seat. It still got hot back there.
In 1956 Mercury was already offering a Park Lane model. I doubt Ford would have called this a " Park Lane". The taillights are from.a Mercury wagon. I have never seen one of these. Something's fishy unless this is a modified Canadian car.

Made in The USA by Union Workers! The 1950's were the best years for America! Love the chrome and windows! Tires are awesome!
This is one of the best cars I've seen so far. Workmanship is OUTSTANDING.Why would someone want to sell a car like this
Beautiful car. I like the original sounding exhaust. I believe the Mercury taillights came on this particular wagon from the factory.
The Mercury lights are not factory. Standard ford taillights were on the Parklane.
That is one beautiful wagon😊
Beautiful 56, the best year Ford ever made. Need to line up the steering wheel, it off center a little bit.
Look How Beautiful ❤ this Vehicle Is, I Love the Color scheme.
Dream Station Wagon for me 🤗😈🩵
Gorgeous Automobile !! 🏆🏆

Wow, this is nice even for today, but back in '56, I bet that you were the talk of the town if you brought this home from the dealership!

That would be such a cool car to travel the country in. For that, would need to add seatbelts and A/C though.
Fabulous car 🚗

The car has Mercury taillights and 55 Ford eyebrows over the headlights.
I believe sir those tail lites are 55 or 56 Mercury I'm pretty sure.
Yes they are, from the Mercury wagons.
Do you still have the unit
What are the dots on the doors above the chrome trim?
That is the Ford Crest, similar to the one on the hood
Henry's Nomad.
Ein kanadischer Ford mit Mercuryteilen?.
Exhaust tips are too long IMO....nice looking car.
