@@505PRE yes i did, my advice is to buy an external harddrive and transfer everything to it, hook it to series x or s and transfer all. i had no problems using this method. my game progress was still there, i didnt have to start over.
So I tried to transfer my games over to my new xbox series x from my x1x, but after plugging in the external hard drive (HDD) into my series x, it registered my hard drive, but not the games that were on it. First off, please forgive my lack of understanding as I am a new user of Xbox. I have the limited edition call of duty 1TB Xbox one. I’ve had it for years. I thought 1TB Would be a monstrous amount of Storage but I can only have 9-12 games stored on it. So I just purchased the Xbox series X For a disgustingly obscene amount of money as I didn’t want to wait. It was told it was faster everything…wellllll. Right now I have logged in and completed the set up but all of my games are gone. I purchased and downloaded cyberpunk discs, my call of duty discs , some hunting and downloaded some games through game pass. Nothing is there. I listened to your tutorial and I think you said I had to go on the old Xbox and select backup and system transfer and then have the new Xbox also open at the same time to transfer? I only have one tv and no other means to have both consoles running at once. Is there a way to move all my games from Xbox one to Xbox series x without having them running simultaneously? I haven’t even tried to set up my Hubbys account cause I’m getting lost and frustrated :( Also, I tried playing cyber punk and all of my games that I had a disc for and Xbox one and now this new Xbox are asking me to load the discs. Update: It did not sadly, some of my games did not get downloaded after I shut down xbox one (the games that weren't already downloaded at that time). Hi. I'm upgrading from my Xbox 1S to the Halo Xbox series X. Can I still use my external HDD from the 1S? When I format it upon plugging the HDD into the 1X will it wipe my data (installed games etc)
To answer your question, no. You can transfer your external HDD from your 1S straight to plug and play on the Halo Series X. I did exactly the same! HOWEVER.. Be prepared to reinstall every game that has 4k capabilities. Example; Maneater, among many other games, had a 4k upgrade and the installation stopped every time it was in queue. It would not install. What you need to do is reformat the HDD through the Settings TAB on your series X. Which deletes and clears all of your games on the device (game saves through the cloud will remain) I had to do this with all 3 external HDDs. That's about 15TB of games! I had to reformat all of them. You can imagine how long it took to reinstall all of the content. Im still missing some games in my library because I didn't make a list. Good Luck and enjoy the Halo Series X console. It's an amazing piece of art!

But I purchased the sx version of wwe2k22 and the difference is the clarity and controls are much better 👌 😉 but unfortunately I had to re-download everything but I noticed if I download from the same creators, all the wrestling moves came within them the same way I gave it to them the first time from the xbox one version . It took me two weeks to recreate my universe but it was worth it for the quality alone.

During the transfer process… all my programs have “Installation stopped” right below the game title, all of them. Any idea what I did wrong?
