This kind of surprised me. It is always good to have a ground game, including takedowns and BJJ. Not too hopeful for Rountree, but this should be a great fight. Thanks for the interview Michael..awesome as always.

Khalil is right, he's a striker you cant think that with just a couple of months of grappling you could go and submit someone as strong as Pereira, even 2 years ago against Adesanya he attempted 3 TD failing all of them and only when Alex tried a bad TD and Adesanya reversed it he was able to take him to the ground... Im pretty sure he worked on grappling since that day too

All these fighters keep saying in the buildup that they're going to stand and strike with Pereira and not wrestle at all, but every time, they end up getting knocked out. It’s like a pattern at this point. Jan Błachowicz is the only one who wrestled him and managed to make it through the whole fight. Honestly, saying your game plan is to strike with Pereira might as well be admitting you're planning to lose.
