I had one of those brass/glass sofa tables in the 80s. Who knew they would be desirable again?
You could absolutely refurbish and use that treddle Singer sewing machine. There's a very active market in old models and especially for folks who live off-the-grid, they are very marketable. Those with the inner workings totally rusted out can be used decoratively, but many can be used/dismantled for parts and old machines are refurbished and put into use all the time.

Hi Denise! Like you, I love thrifting! Many items in my home are thrift store finds. Just wanted to share with you...about two years ago I was watching HGTV and mentioned to my son that they had replaced all of the "decorating shows" with "home buying" shows. My son suggested that I check out UA-cam...I came across one of your videos first and I have been a fan every since! You have inspired me in many ways...one of which was to become a content creator! :-) I'm new on this journey but you are an awesome example for me to follow! YOU ARE THE GODESS OF THE HOUSE....!! No...I mean it..!!! I watched A LOT of videos and yours are the easiest to watch and emulate. Also, you give sources and everything. I just want to find a way to keep the house clean!!!!! Thrifting is the way to go for an upscale look. People used to think my place looked expensive, but t wasn't at all! It just takes time and a little imagination. I've had to scale down, but someday I'll be back, thrifting a beautiful home again. Love your channel!

I need advice: I recently lost a family member and now we have an abundance of clothing items in good condition, china and other items that someone will find interesting. How do I go about getting these items out? Who should I contact? I thought about Goodwill but not sure who to turn to.

I used to collect dishes. No more. You have an insane amount of kitchen stuff. I found I didn't use most of it. Now I have 4 of each of a dish set of 8 and a few pieces if bakeware, and 8 glasses

Im ALWAYS So Wow'ed by the Decor youre able to Find for Such GREAT Prices!!! Now Candice Olson Thats my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE DESIGNER. Ive been Watching her for Years. I can't Wait to See What you do with those 2 GORGEOUS PIECES!!! I have a?? I recently Purchased 2 Amazing Lamps they're in Great condition but I want to Shine them up a Bit more and Dont really know what I should use. Watching this I Noticed you talking about the Lamp Shades & Re painting them. I Need 2 for those Lamps but Cerulean Velvet is hard to Find. I wouldn't mind Painting 2 Drum Shades (I've Done my Research) but Im Not Sure if I should buy 2 and Try to Find the Material and Cover or Paint them... Any Advice??? Thank you love! Hummmm....that's a hard one. I never painted a lamp shade before. A lamp base yes. Your right! Cerulean Velvet is hard to Find. Then try to find the material first. I'm sure someone will have it. Buy two and try to recover them if you cannot find the replacement material. Good luck and let me know how it works out for you. ~xo
Sophie from My Great Challenge channel painted a lamp shade on one of her videos. She used a linen type paint and it covered really well. The original shade was black.

I love going to flea market, Goodwill and Thrifting. I also love the store hahaha. But you can find idd real treasure, its just how you look at it... My husband sees junk and i see treaure hahaha, but when i put it in the decor he is realy impressed. Zilver, crystal, thea cups, decor and special plates and dishes for dinners party's are my things to look for...
