I noticed that everything in that first thriftshop has been washed and polished, and the prices are still OK. What a find! I would go back there often! Thank you for sharing your life with us. Happy Easter!
Yes! I love that 😊 I also like to find items that I really love and will enjoy looking at in my home. It’s so exciting when you’re on the hunt for something and finally find it at a thrift store or on Marketplace. And at a great price too 😃
That wood piece is a 70s monkey pod Lotus serving set. Those bowls are leaves that hook to the large dish. Usually there are 6 small and 6 large bowls.I have one with shell inlay. Beautiful piece.
That is a secretary desk... learnt that from other thrift influencers here on UA-cam, I wish I could find one, would be the perfect piece to tuck away all devices at the end of a day. Loved the video and the finds💕
Thank you for taking us along. I enjoy going even though there is very little I need For my sofa, I used bed pillow shams and just tucked the extra in,
Did you go back for the scalloped plate? It is the Savannah Clear pattern from Anchor Hocking. Beautiful collection to start as you come across pieces.
Your home is beautiful! I really enjoy your videos, as I also enjoy spending my time thrifting. Currently working on my bathroom....which is proving tricky!
I do feel it's good to branch out and try different colors you're comfortable with. Spring does bring out the beautiful colors and flowers. I would have grabbed some of those items your Grandmother had I love those type if things to layer in decor plus the good memories.
Your apartment is just stunning! So much character, but all so functional! This video inspired me, moving into a new home soon and want to bring this cozy, warm feeling to it.
That wood piece ar 9:10 is valuable if all there! The petals fit into the base and it’s a serving piece. People grab a petal and fill it with snacks for whatever. I would have died to have found one in the wild and for that price!!
That 1 piece of furniture that you weren't sure the name of it's called A secretary. My mother has one as well. They're beautiful! That was a good price for that.I mean amazing.Just sand it and restain it nice find!!!!!
You have the best thrift stores out there or maybe just have great taste and show us the great stuff. The thing about out the Thrifty is by the time you get home and think about things when you go back they are gone 😂😂😂
If you will go back.and get those channel crystal.candle sticks I'll buy them from you for a profit. I just bought some kind of short liquor glasses that are channeled like that and these would go perfect with them. PLEASE.
Hello beautiful are you talking about the two tall crystal candle holders? I’ll check on them next time I’m there. I’m in Northern California how about yourself?
Loved this video! It's so true, it's important to be intentional when thrifting. It's easy to see all of these things but it's not really meaningful to just buy it all. You have created a beautiful home for you and your daughters
Originally it’s from IKEA, but I purchased it from a family on offer up about eight years ago and it has held up so great. it’s a couch that folds out into a bed but we just keep it as a bed because my daughters won’t have it any other way lol
I think I bought mine at Walmart. I bought plates, saucers, bowls. I, also, have salad bowl, and punch bowl with cups. I didn’t buy coffee cups but they do have them.
That set of Noritake fine china just kills me to be sold. I see more and more china all the time on Facebook Market Place being sold. I have my Noritake china, Asian pattern since my bridal registry. That is back in the day when you were engaged, it was a big deal to pick your china, crystal patterns. Mine is 12 place setting of 5 with all the side dishes. It is 48 years old and still special. I guess no one wants anything with gold or silver trim.
how can you have a channel and not know what a secretary desk highly sought after since working from home also has a vintage vibe also going thrifting on a shoestring budget, not any fun
@@candancewilliams2520 um who’s budget is shoestring? What does having a channel have anything to do with not knowing the technical term for a piece of furniture like that? English is my 3rd language that may be one of the reasons.
Definitely a secretary desk.
In England they are called Bureaus
I noticed that everything in that first thriftshop has been washed and polished, and the prices are still OK. What a find! I would go back there often! Thank you for sharing your life with us. Happy Easter!
Yes I totally agree! Happy Easter to you and yours.
12:55 that's a candy dish. And the desk is called a secretary. Usually there is a glass cabinet on top where you can display your favorite pieces.
Thank you for the information. I see those often at thrift stores.
I loved those pink compote/parfait bowls.
Yes same weren’t they just beautiful
I bought two large off white sweaters at the thrift store and used them to cover my huge couch cushions. 😊
The pink glassware is often depression glass.
Wow what a great idea you are so creative.
The one that said China cabinet is a Secretary or a writing desk. Places for papers and envelopes, etc.
Yes! I love that 😊 I also like to find items that I really love and will enjoy looking at in my home. It’s so exciting when you’re on the hunt for something and finally find it at a thrift store or on Marketplace. And at a great price too 😃
Yes definitely. Living in a small space I had to take a step back and make sure everything I brought in my home served a purpose.
I love the girlie look too pink is a elegant color for me
Yes I’m starting to love it again.
That wood piece is a 70s monkey pod Lotus serving set. Those bowls are leaves that hook to the large dish. Usually there are 6 small and 6 large bowls.I have one with shell inlay. Beautiful piece.
Thanks for the info 😊 that sounds beautiful set up
I bought one of those at a garage sale for .50 cents and still have and use it.
I call the furniture piece a secretary desk. Wish my local stores carried them! That was a great price for one. ❤
I agree that was a beautiful one and can’t beat that price.
That is a secretary desk... learnt that from other thrift influencers here on UA-cam, I wish I could find one, would be the perfect piece to tuck away all devices at the end of a day. Loved the video and the finds💕

That sounds like a great idea. Sometimes it’s just fun to go and peacefully walk up and down the aisles.

So many beautiful things for the dining room but like you I have a dining table that's used for everything 😮
Yes same it really limits what I can have on it.
It's a "secretary." =) They are so beautiful. I have my late grandmother's. =)
That’s so special
I too feel the pastels😊 I'm usually a bigger green girl. Guess spring does that to us😊
I do feel it's good to branch out and try different colors you're comfortable with. Spring does bring out the beautiful colors and flowers. I would have grabbed some of those items your Grandmother had I love those type if things to layer in decor plus the good memories.
Yes I totally agree! Especially when the price is right. Happy Easter 😊

Thank you so much 😊 cozy is what we are all about here.
I like the couch area. Very cozy!
I’d style the wall with a full length mirror (silver) but hang it horizontal. Good finds!!!
Thank you 😊 I thought of that or a gallery wall.
That wood piece ar 9:10 is valuable if all there! The petals fit into the base and it’s a serving piece. People grab a petal and fill it with snacks for whatever. I would have died to have found one in the wild and for that price!!

Hello beautiful
are you talking about the two tall crystal candle holders? I’ll check on them next time I’m there. I’m in Northern California how about yourself?
That’s the bad thing about watching people’s thrift videos 😂, I always spot things I want…but nobody ever hears me yelling I want that ! lol!
Me too. Those candlesticks were gorgeous!!!
Those yellow pillows and pot were so cute. You should have gotten them!
Yes I wish I did. I’ll be going back.
May you have a blessed Easter🐤🐥🐣i love your video's. 🙏
Thank you 😊 happy Easter to you as well
I believe that it is a secretary desk.
Great Video...

The Penninton planter was probably Ty Penni ngton from designing . I found a couple of pillows by him at GW for $1.99 and they are $30 used online.
That’s awesome love finding great deals like that!
The second store wasn’t bad either! I would have gotten those pillow cases!
Yes I kinda wish I got them too!
Yes!! Pink rules!
We call it a secretary here .. the desk
It is a desk./ SECRETARY 😊
I was thinking that. Happy Easter
I have 5 sons so not too much pink in our home.lol
Wow that’s amazing 😊 my sister has 3 boys and her whole house is pink!
Is this Arizona? I saw a tassel throw just like it!
No I’m in California
Where did you get your comfy looking couch?
Originally it’s from IKEA, but I purchased it from a family on offer up about eight years ago and it has held up so great. it’s a couch that folds out into a bed but we just keep it as a bed because my daughters won’t have it any other way lol
I'm a new subby where are you all from? I'm at the jerseyshore 😊
Thanks for subbing! We are in Northern California
I actually have a large set of those plates you didn’t get for $5. They are not old you can buy them in stores now. Not too expensive.
Really what store do they sell it at
I think I bought mine at Walmart. I bought plates, saucers, bowls. I, also, have salad bowl, and punch bowl with cups. I didn’t buy coffee cups but they do have them.

Wow that amazing congratulations that is truly special.
Does the thrift store you went too do they have a website
I’m not sure that was my first time there.
Is this your only source of income? If not, when do you work and what do you do?
How is that relevant seeing how that's her personal business.
That piece is called a secretary.
Thank you
Where is the first thrift store?
It is in the Arcade area in Northern California
Secretariett
Secretary desk
Thank you
I don’t like the marker on the items do you!
I really don’t like it because if people accidentally rub it off they won’t sell it to you till the next day when they reprice it.
its a bureau
Go to shien or temo
