God for some reason I love the loop between Anticipation and Assault. For some reason it's the perfect quiet before the storm. Everything goes silent, and all you hear before the first shots of the Assault start flying is someone's IPod they dropped, still playing a simple beat... And then all Hell breaks loose.
I have no idea how Gustavo keeps doing it, but damn what an amazing track. As you said, absolutely great "level to soundtrack" adaptation, and it's just so... groovy, and while clearly getting inspiration from some past PD tracks, as some parts reminded me of Phoney Money, the overall stealth "tempo" (not sure if it's the right term to use here) of White Collar Crime, still managing to sound great and unmistakably "Gustavo". Thanks for uploading it! Hopefully once PD3 1 year anniversary hits, they will release on streaming services all of PD3 OST so far
Honestly, Stealth 1 to 3 is like the Heister is sneaking around the Police Department in silence, but from 4 to 5 is like they found a police uniform and is using do walk around more freely, disguised as a *Boy in Blue* , and the transition from 3 to 4 is the moment they found the uniform. Makes me wish disguising as a cop was part of the Stealth Route or a Favor (or a secret thing we could do) that we could use to have more freedom in stealth. Would be fun
I feel like gustavo mightve watched fight club before making this track because a lot of elements (especially of the stealth portion) reminds me of the dust brothers work on the fight club soundtrack
Coming back here from the future, it really feels like this update was the turning point that set us on the way back up. Dont get me wrong, Syntax Error was a good update, but the price point was a tad too high. With all subsequent DLC bundles sitting at $12, it feels a bit more fair to us as players while still getting the team the funds they need for development. Gonna miss the dirt-cheap PD2 dlcs but hey, if this can turn the game around, Im okay with a slightly higher price point.
It takes ages for Assault to finally sound like an assault and not the Anticipation, and then it's almost instantly goes back to the slow pace in the ASSAULT phase -_-
Your life has to be so sad to bitch around in places not intended for it. grr how dare people like music!!!! payday 3 is terrible how dare people enjoy it!!!! den of wolves is right there you sad being.
we are so blue, boys
This soundtrack surely didn't leave my BOYS blue ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Gustavo is an unstoppable cook with how he always delivers banger after banger
Gustavo automatically unlocked the blue crystal weapon charm because the game already knows he’s THE cook
The groove in stealth phase 4 and control fucks ungodly hard holy, the bass sounds so juicy
That first section of control os grooovy, excelent track
holy moly its the poison brew
It's actually Hatsune Miku
@@loganreed23 i thought it was residue?
Its actually pots and brews
im addicted to the assault section goes so hard oh my god

according to this artwork, they had to kick Chains from the lobby to bring Clover instead
Dang!! Not throwing shades at Chain but i think they did this because Clover was one of the best characters in the franshise
@@christiamcruz7454 heh, not throwing "shade"
He was in a pickle at that moment so Joy and Pearl had to go help him while the rest of them went to go get Vlad’s gold.
He got arrested for trying to pass a fake 20 and then died of a fentanyl overdose
Solo gamemode portrait backstory:
Ok but Gustavo is perfect to fill the hole Simon left
nah
yah
Can't wait to see what Simon's been cooking tho. Sure it's gonna blow my eardrums, positively.
yah
Gustavo had a lot to live up to what Simon did, and he did it well. I’d love to see the two work on a song together.

Groovy track, Gustavo always delivers, love the Control phase
"What is wrong with you, why are you Blue?!"
boys in blue
handsome gru
cocktail brew
no one knew
lets go dude
haha boom
magic broom
13:12favorite now
This has that signature Payday OST feel to it in Assault, that alot of the tracks in PD2 from 2016-2018 had imo
I keep coming back to this, HOW has this man not run out of ingredients yet, he does not stop cooking
13:14 MY BALLS ARE PULSATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This gives me a lot of No rest for the Wicked vibes
7:16 that cartoony metal hit sound is the least expected thing to hear here
I like how it has hip hop vibes cause Bronx, duh.
"very basic implementation, but tasteful nonetheless"
@@flooku987Brotha we get it you don't like Gustavo, stop being a lil submissive short-looking people
half way of assault is so fucking good holy shit, i hope they soon release this soundtrack on youtube or spotify.
Gustavo picked up right where Viklund left off, still cooking bangers
We all forget about Carl...
Gustavo CANNOT miss
I’m getting MAJOR splatoon vibes from this and I love it
for some reason it has the police station vibe
Literally the best thing from payday 3
If they ever made bank heist movie like heat, Gustavo has to be the soundtrack guy
I’ve been away from home and haven’t played this yet but holy shit this loud music slaps hard as fuck
Payday 3 took inspiration from enter the sandman 6:50 and i am all for it :)
it actually does seem like it and I am all for it B)
Balls in blue!
Ok, this is now my favourite PD3 assault theme ever.
Pls Ovk, put jukebox in-game to play this in every map ❤
Pls release soundtrack on spotify
I beat this heist solo mask-off recently, and the stealth soundtrack made me feel like Pink Panther. It's so good🔥
sounds like a mix of something wicked this way comes and evil eye. makes sense given it's the payday gang doing the assaulting this time
This is like if Nitro Fun were asked to score Doom Eternal

do NOT replace "oys" with "alls"; worst mistake of my life
terrified, I’m gonna need some therapy after this
lol
BALLS IN BLUE!!!!! OH MY GOD
Ngl, I read "allas" which resulted in Ballas in Blue and I was gonna throw a fit.
Officer balls
This is peak
GUSTAVO SET THE FUCKING SERVERS ON FIRE WITH THIS ONE
Another amazing track
y know what, screw it, spin the track on back, and lets get funky...
**GALS IN **-MAGENTA-** PURPLE**
BACK2BACK, TIGER!
AMCAR in blue
I really love this song, but I especially like the part at 13:36
I feel like gustavo mightve watched fight club before making this track because a lot of elements (especially of the stealth portion) reminds me of the dust brothers work on the fight club soundtrack
12:54 best drop ever
If New York had a theme
13:38 THE SIREN IS JUST MUAH CHEFS KISS
GUSTAVO IS THE ONLY THING TEMPTING ME TO HIT THE PURCHASE BUTTON ON THIS GAME
the guitar riffs sound like something Tom Morello would make
Got to say the artwork of the game is really good as the game it self 💯
5:41 OMAGA OMAGA Saints Row 3 vibes!!!
Bro is the new ist guy lol, tysm❤
Gustavo is amazing. I got serious DMC vibes at around 13:00.
11:25 isnt that a motif for another track? Could swear I heard it before
edit: it sounded like that one part from death wish to me
Three Way Deal but awesome
Its like a reinterpretation of Jokes on you/them for pd3 , absolutr babger
I can't believe that boys are actually blue.
wish they would drop this on spotify
I can't listen to assault version of this without Beastie Boys, Limp Bizkit and others after beta (real) version
The track should be called "Back in Blue"
poison brew
I think it should be the 1.25 Speed version of it trust me just give it a listen
Balls are blue.
12:10-12:31 splatoon ahh beat
Clover looks way better in the Cover art than in-game. I want my money back.
she is free tho-

the record scratching or whatever effect sounds too loud. the main part is kinda tiresome and mid but 13:13 is god-tier.

BPM isn't what determines how extreme a song is.
nah all of the assault wave slaps, people glaze the halfway point too much
We have Simon Viklund at home.
hey, reddit is on the right, there is no gold here
