EXCELLENT Information regards to Car Rental and 3rd Party Liability. I am so glad to find you as you really do a good job with researching your topics. You are by far the best You Tuber for Puerto Vallarta life. I appreciate your demeanour too…you talk like a real person…and don’t have the stupid antics and face impressions (Kinetic) like the open gob, etc. Thank you and now a Subscriber.
the prices at Veico are insane... even if the insurance is included. these are like the kind of prices I pay in Hawaii. even the other 2 more local companies you suggested are on the high side. I just tried each of the sites and Sixt was by far the best and it says it includes the 3rd party insurance so that looks like the choice for me when I need to rent a car. a lot of travel youtube channels I have been watching show that a bus is the cheapest way to get to Saylulita or Boca de Tomatlan so not as convenient as a taxi or uber but way cheaper! I am coming there in July for an extended stay. I rented a place by the Mirador de la Cruz for my first month so I am thinking I will need to take a taxi for getting groceries and other shopping rather than carrying bags up the steep hills... should be interesting!
Thanks for the insightful comments and precious information. Normally if I go to Mismaloya I grab the orange bus at corner Basilio and Constitution, just in front the XOXO shop. They have buses every 20 min.or so.
Street parking is free but it’s hard to find any during the winter months/high season. There are 3 big parking garages available 2 in the centro area and one in the romantic zone. There is a person who collects the payment so you can pay with bills or coins
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much. How is parking, especially in downtown area? Can I park on the street? Are there time limits, or payments needed?
@@VallartaLife Thanks for the advice! Super excited to go next week. I think we'll just use uber since we only have 3 full days, and probably won't have time to go anywhere far.
You probably need a van to transport the scooter plus your luggage. There are 3 taxi companies that do transportation from the airport to your place. Or you can book private transportation with other companies
Does your cell phone work going from U.S to Puerto Vallarta? Also the first time you went & rented a car, did you just use Google maps to help get around?
Hi, I'm planning to go to PV around July, I'm going alone, I want to be able to go to clubs, restaurants - walking distance. I heard romantic zone is best for this. Is it correct?
I haven’t taken that route so I can’t confirm. I know if you take the toll routes are the safest way to go anywhere. We have driven from Texas all the way to Puerto Vallarta with no problem. Hope this helps.
Thanks for all your videos!!! Going to PVR in 3 days and your videos are helping me alot!!

Yes that’s a great option too. Thank you for sharing ✨
Great Job fellow VRA family love the intro 👍👍
Thank You 😊
How about parking there? Easy to find parking spots there in Centro? Need coins to pay for parking there or free parking anywhere there?
Street parking is free but it’s hard to find any during the winter months/high season. There are 3 big parking garages available 2 in the centro area and one in the romantic zone. There is a person who collects the payment so you can pay with bills or coins
QUESTION?!?! Are you able to hire someone outside the airport that drives you around during your stay? like your personal driver
Yes you will have to search online for a private driver. I personally don’t know anyone
This is exactly what I needed. Thank you very much. How is parking, especially in downtown area? Can I park on the street? Are there time limits, or payments needed?
Parking on the streets in Downtown and Romantic Zone are a bit tricky. There are 2 main parking garages with plenty of parking also.
@@VallartaLife Thanks for the advice! Super excited to go next week. I think we'll just use uber since we only have 3 full days, and probably won't have time to go anywhere far.
@@loloi - You don’t need a car and even the taxis can’t get parking.
@@sherunswithscissors yeah, we ended up just walking and ubering, it's so much cheaper.
Super helpful thanks 🙏!!
Thank You
What is the best transfer to B&B from airport? Traveling with foldable EV scooter. We just need transfer to and from airport. Thanks.

Just sixt is the airport the other one is not
Great video! What part of town do you recommend if you are visiting with children?
Centro/downtown or south of PV
Does your cell phone work going from U.S to Puerto Vallarta? Also the first time you went & rented a car, did you just use Google maps to help get around?
very helpful ty
If you brought your vehicle from the USA, what paperwork or permits do you need to drive your car in Mexico legally?
You must get a permit at the aduana’s border before you enter to Mexico
How's the insurance deposit?
One way to punt a mita uber is $20 usd why rent a car and take time and stress
Hi, I'm planning to go to PV around July, I'm going alone, I want to be able to go to clubs, restaurants - walking distance. I heard romantic zone is best for this. Is it correct?
Romantic zone or downtown are centrally located to most of those things
