One that I was expecting was loose-fit clothing. Incorporating this into my summer wardrobe has been huge. Keeping in mind the style of many men in the Middle East (loose fit + flowy; light fabric color) who are pros at heat has been a good example of what to shoot for. This is also a bit easier to incorporate into today’s fashion with cuts trending away from slim fits and towards more spacious clothes.

Definitely agree about adding color, to your, already established style. It slowly opens up your eyes to new possibilities with your style. 5 years ago, I would have never worn pink or purple. Now, I've learned that they actually compliment my complexion. It all started with baby steps, tho...
I actually take in a good portion of the advice that you give on this channel. I'm in my "OG Years" currently. But...I stay in cargo shorts during the Summer months. That's just something that won't change for me. I like the look. Always have. Always will.
@d1inonly. I haven't worn cargo shorts in a while, but when you go to the Polo Ralph Lauren site, and see how they have the models styling them, the cargos look cool as heck!

Be happy and wear what makes you feel good and comfortable in your own skin. I refuse to be dictated to on what to and not to wear. Life is too short to be controlled by media on what you should look and appear like for others approval. Just exude confidence and feel good about you.

Thanks O.G. I'm getting away from cargo shorts this summer. I've grabbed some flat fronts recently & I'm ready for vacation. The wife loves the change.
Thanks Jeff. I always struggle in the summer as far as clothes and footwear and end up with those faithful dumb reach options that really aren't best suited. Thankfully I've got the fragrances sorted out this year, although I do tend to layer citruses on a couple of sprays of an awesome sandalwood one I have because it makes them last longer.
Found your channel a few weeks back. I like the O.G Swag too. You remind me of is a big brother who looks out for you. My real big older brother when I was in my teens long ago taught me as well expressed upon me the element of dressing and style by always dressing well when he stepped out. An important lesson that has lasted the rest of my life and govern my wardrobe. I’m always ever learning and I think why when your channel was recommended I immediately saw it. I do need more summer versality, Chinos and Shorts in my wardrobe set. But I also know where to get some too at P.Fredricks, so it’s an easy fix for me with styles I like.
Going to be hard to give up my flip flops as I live in GA and they’re very convenient and I’m a sandals guy but I’ll definitely give it a go. Great video as always!
Hey Jeff good video, but as an OG myself I wear chinos,white breathable Nike’s, polo top, socks to keep the feet cool and a bucket hat. I keep a small cooler in the car with ice bottles of water. As a New Yorker now living in SC I know about humidity. And yes I tortoise shell sun glasses in the car to use as I drive. There is one thing you forgot to stress even more this time of year, take a shower 3x a day to stay fresh around that special lady ✊🏾. Now you can “ Hop” on that my Brother. ✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾

Hey Jeff, would you consider Issey Miyake a summer fragrance. Its a classic I've been wearing for years. Your videos have put me on the path of switching up the fragrance in the summer.
No style tip is absolute. Something may work for one person and not so well for another. Don't be afraid to experiment and see what works for your style and body type (:
