Nice cars of the past. This is what we should be driving anywhere in town today. Gas at the price today would be grate. We DON'T need all the power that some cars have. Just simple cars. It would go between point a and b and back home. But with the jerks of today will still be stupid.
Despite it's appearance, the Bond Bug really isn't a micro car. Living in Northern Britain you still see them around sometimes and they're about the size of a 90s renault clio
The "Mi-Val Tipo MO Mivalino" (6:39) is actually a Messerschmitt KR 175, predecessor to the Messerschmitt KR 200 (4:40). Both were designed by Fritz Fend. It was pretty basic: the windscreen wiper had to be operated by hand and an electric starter was an optional extra.
The Trojan was essentially a Heinkel Kabine built in the UK under licence by Trojan who were formally a van and car manufacturer whose vehicles sales tailed off. They needed something else to do so took on the Heinkel during the 3-wheeler boom years.

Fabulous little machines. I owned two from new. Both two-strokes (cheap to run) and 350 cc motorcycle engines (even cheaper). Trouble is kept getting squashed by hedgehogs.....
Re 0.58 BMW Isetta when I was born my dad owned one. I'd travel behind front seats, just over the motor. Once had an astonishing flat tire: 1 long nail caught both back wheels at same time. Now, what's that tent at the rear; neve seen one like that. Thanks for posting Cheers from Buenos Aires, Argentina
They are so so so beautiful I would love to have one of them . Any one from the video .one day I'll get the money I'll chill with one of those 👍 thanks for the vid
I had 3 Messerschmitt KR200s back in the day....70/gallon. No reverse gear.... To go in reverse you had to stop the engine and turn the ignition key in the opposite direction to spin the engine in reverse.
in the early 70s I owed a Isetta 300cc with a single cylinder 4 stroke engine, they are not what they seem ,they were very slow under powed, mine was very unreliable frequently broke down, why they were ever made is beyond me, I use to get spares from Bee Hive Motors New Eltham Kent, and Continental Motor Spare Penge South London, and you needed them happy days.
Lets not be so eurocentric. There are a few South American models that would be right at home in this video i.e. the Isard 400. How about an American entry? the Metropolitan? Maybe it is a little big, but compared to other cars of the same period, the Metro was tiny.
Wickedly awesome

Some of the cutest cars I've ever seen! I wonder if Jay Leno has any of these in his collection?

Even if I had to pull start my ride every morning, I’d prefer one of them little cars over my mustang even
Too difficult to decide on just one! Ok, one of each please!!! Love them all!!!!!
Agreed! Too fun!

Some are cute, some are ugly, some look like cartoons.
Great video.

I absolutely love this, thanks for posting 😊
My Pleasure! Thanks geespar1!
I drove one from London to Jugoslavia in 1967!
That is awesome! What an adventure!
Great video didn't realise there were so many different models, thanks again!
I love it! I'm 6ft 2, 230 pounds so for me this is the world's coolest Hot Wheels collection.
I had a scootacar - brilliant!

It is good to see something different & nor follow the majority. Thumbs up.
a lot of Messerschmitt & Isetta variants ... Nothing wrong with that !

The past shows us how we can save the planet. We don't need SUVs :-).
Rear vision is somewhat restricted in that Isetta pickup at 0:55. And if anything heavy was loaded into the cargo area it would tip over on corners.

That's awesome! At least you didn't have to get out and turn it around by hand!
Super 🎉🙏
Molto bello!!
MESSERSMITT!!!; Pude ver uno en San Miguel, BsAs, Argentina
Both the Messerschmitt and Heinkel Kabinenroller had been unarmed, you could not shoot down planes ;-)

Very Good.
Uau carros fixes 🏅👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hay uno que se repite. Faltan el Dornier y el Zundap
Crossley?
Autobianchi Biancina?
Good and clasik
You forgot to include "NSU Prinz" and "King Midget" . The King Midget was 100% AMERICAN made!
How about an electric 2CV?
Que buen gusto
🖐️🤞👍🇲🇽
Ok you forgot the Crosley
If I owned one of those Messerschmitt cars I would put a couple dozen fake bullet holes on it....
Faltou o Dinarg. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Nash Metropolitan? Fairthorpe Atom?
These are smaller!
My 1960 Mini doesn't look so small now.
What?!?! No King Midgets??? Travesty!!
👍👍👏👏
Thank you nadar!
.....funny how the words “death” and “trap” just popped into my brain.... not sure why .... mmmmm
🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻
... And Then That Ford old.
You showed us one Peel twice, but managed to miss out the Peel P50, which holds the record of being the smallest production car ever made.
No berkeley microcar shame.

What the hell were some people thinking when they designed these cars! Some are just butt ugly.....
I think they are adorable!!! To each their own I guess...
