Those may be why you thought it was longer, the remix is old enough and of decent enough quality to be believed as official and the original song was kinda forgettable.

The Grand Finale always feels amazing as one of those rare times where Mario, Luigi and Bowser Put everything in as a team. Even if Bowser didnt realize it was them inside him.. The idea of Nekrozma at full strength facing zero 2 is pretty dope.
Zero Two probably wins because he's as fast as kirby who is faster than light speed. And that also means the crystal bullets are significantly faster than light prob and he can tank a bunch of those.

Mad Monster Mansion and Rush Hour aren't technically boss themes but man do they still fit well in this compilation (MMM for its more frantic pace and Rush Hour for the context of what's happening when the theme plays)
MMM is a stage theme, but i think Rush hour is both stage theme and Empress' boss theme. because from what i see, Empress is the boss and the stage is changed just enough to make it more challenging.

my favs were unbroken, zero two and rush hour because when the themes get deeper it is so cool to hear their voices get more louder and quicker of singing and then when the theme gets slower it can feel so relax for unbroken

The Grand Finale always feels amazing as one of those rare times where Mario, Luigi and Bowser Put everything in as a team. Even if Bowser didnt realize it was them inside him..
