"I've tamed my death!" That's such a raw, accurate, and horrifying line knowing that Miraidon killed the original professor and now his "Replica" is currently commanding it.
It's a clever double meaning. He tamed death, meaning that even though he's died, he lives on. Death was a monster now tamed. He tamed death, that being the Iron Serpent that threatened him. Death was a monster now tamed.
It's also another clever meaning to the fact that he said "I've" as in a future tense because he's in the future with the other future Pokémon. In the AI Sada cover, she said "I tamed my death," meaning she just tamed the very creature that killed her, while here, AI Turo said "I've tamed my death" meaning he already tamed the creature he knew would kill him
My personal favourite lines are: "From the wounds a fool would carelessly tear into the biomes of our home wreak destruction with the fury of unknown" and my absolute favorite line has to be "Stand up to a foolish dream long overblown". The cadence of these lines and the speed they are delivered are just Chef's kiss
The fact that in 1:25 Iron Bundle is the only one with skull-shaped eyes implies that it's the only robot programmed to kill (or the only one who WANTS to kill), no, not Mecha Godzilla or a Hydra It's the BURD that wants you dead
I was suprised when I found out in game when I was looking for shiny iron jugulis (I found it and it is still on my team and has been for a year, its name is hydroidon) that none of the robotic hydras attacked me, but the bird did?!
If you put the both versions at the same time, it sounds so epic, like a duo and small parts of difference of the lyrics to fit their version, best cover of the year on playing both at the same time.

Probably my favourite line in both of these is "Where irrelevant, inferior ones die". Sada's "Where the ones who aren't selected die" already hit hard, and obviously it's at least somewhat a reference to natural selection. But Turo doesn't call them "The ones who aren't selected", they're the "irrelevant, inferior ones". Either that or the entire end sequence, these were both extraordinarily made.
Makes sense considering their designs. Sada, with the cavewoman design, would have more primal instincts. Turo, with his robotic design, would be more sophisticated.

Both singers of Sara and Turo are absolutely perfect Sara has a primal fire in each word but yet a mother's care when the "Real" personality of the AI is breaking through its control While Turo has a menacing tone (imo) especially when Miriadon is released, but yet his "real" personality holds calm and knowledge of a professor Just wow... well done, just well done everyone whos involved

My noble and regal counterpart!! Tom's voice captures the sleek and smooth version of Violet so well! I love hearing the difference in the lyrics between the two, Juno you're incredible! This was such a big project you spear-headed.
I love the details of the singing and the swapping between Turo and the Ai. When he sings,"Lay your blade down and" and it going into Turo singing, "See the pain that the future's spawn will bring." And that so much of his lyrics have double meanings. As in, the ai is saying to give up in the face of the future's power while Turo is saying to see the horrible power that the futuristic pokemon have that will tear apart the region. I also love the difference between Turo's singing, which is more calm and cold, feeling like a machine understanding its goal with only small glimpses of emotion and Sada's singing, which feels more wild like a beast.
I think like ironically it's the opposite. Turo through Paradise protocol is the one calling for the end of Paldea and the AI Turo calls for Julianna to stop him. The AI genuinely became a better person than its creator. "Was keeping the machine running all the professor cared about?"

Im gonna be honest, the story fits more with Violet's version than Scarlet's version. Sada uses so many hi-tech things, time machines, AI, robots, to prove that the past is superior? In that case, Turo is more correct because he uses the future to prove the future is 'better'
Well, when you really think about it, Sada was only trying to prove that past BIOLOGY was better, not technology. She knew that she had to invent a brand new type of technology to bring the past to the present. In my mind, she was trying to recreate these extinct Pokémon in their most natural state, unlike the failure of an excuse of other scientists in other regions as far as the study of extinct Pokémon is concerned. Mega Evolution, from Kalos, (if regional geography in Pokémon is similar to our world) which is very close to Paldea and Galar, proves that what Cinnabar Island did to Aerodactyl is not it's original, natural form. Sada was probably disgusted by that, so she decided to do the same thing in a different way, I.e. inventing a new technology. Professor Sada would've gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for us meddling kids and our stupid dogs. All jokes aside, she most likely would've gotten the Pokémon equivalent to a Noble Peace prize if she had succeeded.

I love how in Scarlet's version, the pokemon team was much more "ancient", with Tinkaton that just bonks things and Spidops who's just a spider Meanwhile this team is more modern. With Quaquaval, Gardevoir and Squack being human-like pokemon, and then rotom, lokix and revavroom being machine-like pokemon.
I think it needs to be said... Both versions of this song are absolutely amazing, and I love the passion you put into the artwork, like how Juliana's team has a Gardevoir sent out to battle Iron Valiant and the skulls in Iron Bundle's "eyes" are absolutely beautiful! I can't wait to hear more of the amazing songs you lyricize in the future!

I have my issues with Scarlet and Violet, but the story and especially the final battle is not one of them. Thank you everyone who worked so hard to put out both of these amazing covers! The moments when the AI Professor comes back to lucidity briefly and everything calms down in the lyrics might have to be my favorite part. I reminds me of Dialga’s Fight to the Finish when we get to see Dialga’s inner monologue briefly, before returning to the mad lord of time. Or Arven accusing the machine that’s trying to kill all of us of “cheating” and scolding it for not acting like an adult. That’s also pretty great. I was tempted to comment this on both videos, but I don’t know if that would come off as spammy or not, so I’m just commenting this here since I played Violet and can’t think of anything else to say on the other video.
I just love when he says "Yet these feeble spawn of men resist me, with their bonds to lesser species!" It honestly fits because the Paradox mons are more powerful than their regular forms. Account to Sada and Turo, of course.

Not sure if it's just me it feels like temporarily in both versions after they say "YOU ARE NOT GETTING IN MY WAY" that they temporarily go towards the opposite game, with Turo having more aggressive tone and Sada having a more Calm yet Cold tone, then after magnum opus they revert to the game they are part of

This…sent CHILLS down my spine. I even teared up a bit… It’s not very often that lyrical covers of video game songs do that to me. Both versions of this are insanely well-made!! I absolutely LOVE Sada’s enraged tone and Turo’s nobility, how both shared a lot of lines, and how you could see their original AI break through when encouraging the player. It made both versions of this cover sound so different, yet so similar all at once! Again, I absolutely LOVE how you handled this song.
This makes me so much happier to have bought violet, I can feel the bonds I’ve forged, Fwoco, Comeback, (the name of my lycanroc I feel bad for not remembering), Ramos, TinkaTiffany, Arthur, how great our journey was, and together, at the end, a bond forged in iron and snacks, Carl, to bring down Ai Turo
Both versions are amazing ! Also, you can feel that the Arven storyline and the ending are where all of the game's budget went. They're so epic compared to the rest of the game !

It's funny how much soul this AI got huh. Dude poured his entire mechanical heart in this. I've always thought this fight was really interesting from a character standpoint. The human professor through Paradise Protocol, intend for their ambitions to be reached no matter how much damage to Paldea will be done and how much danger it would put their son in. Meanwhile, the AI, the artificial professor, wishes for nothing more than to stop this madness. They are horrified at what their original was doing and the lack of care for all the consequences the professor showed. It was beautifully reflected in those songs. Great job.

The story is very good (by Pokémon standards), the game is still fun and unique in the series, and several of the characters are incredible. Despite the issues that plague Scarlet and Violet, I think that it's one of Pokémon's finest stories. It's about a Professor who is so obsessed with an impossible dream that he/she will destroy the entire world's ecosystem for something that is just ridiculous. It's like Maxie and Archie's desire to dry up the oceans/flood the land, there's no way to make it sound like a good idea. Period. But what makes Scarlet and Violet so much more intense is that the Professor's dream quite literally killed them. All that was left of their madness was a robot that recognized the evil that they were planning, but was completely incapable of stopping it, so the robot reached out to the one person who could stop it... The one person who didn't want to help... The Professor's long ignored son, Arven.

Hearing the two versions together is a great experience. Even you can spot the differences between each other. I wonder if Juno will do a combined version.
Love the difference in tone between AI Sade and AI Turo. Sada sounds almost confident or cocky, while Turo sounds furious. This is especially obvious once Koraidon/Miraidon is released and the Paradise Protection Protocol takes over, where you can almost hear the smile in Sadas voice and Turo basically shouts the lyrics, and the respective art for the two where Sada smiles and Turo is clearly angry. Though in the part at 4:06, to me, it sounds like the roles have reversed, with Sada sounding angrier and Turo sounding more cocky. I'm taking this from another commenter, but Sada also sounds much more emotional than Turo who sounds calmer.
I cannot stop listening to this. It's seriously just candy for my ears. The AI Professor theme is one of my absolute favorite themes in Pokemon and it's just perfectly elevated here.
I just beat Pokemon violet not to long ago, and i gotta say, this really matches the atmosphere that is given, not only that, its awesome to hear the clash between the Ai and the Paradise Protection Protocol, as Ai Turo tries to keep the children's spirits up, even though they are facing unknown creatures, and then dealing with their pokeballs being locked and unable to fight, facing down certain death, and narrowly coming out victorious. (Poor Arven cant catch a break)
nobody has said that the line 'crumble neat a child's thumb' can be understood as the player's actions. you use your thumbs to use controlers and defeate him, and since the target audiance of pokemon is childrens, it make sense.
I like Violet better than Scarlet because of this part of the game, the Future paradox pokemon fit so much more than the Ancient ones. They're much more at home with the actual futureistic time machine and setting of the fight, and are interesting to see contrasting the serene nature of Area Zero.
The way Tom manages to mix the smooth, flowing baritone of the opening with guttural ranting later down the line is SO GOOD Absolutely loved both of these, with the gripping drama, and impeccable lyrics and vocals all around
Absolutely amazing Juno, the protocol section, especially the beginning just sends a shiver down my spine. And getting both versions is a great surprise. Keep up the amazing work and can’t wait to see what else you get done!

I've wwtched this version and Sada's version multiple times now and I cant stop replaying either coz their both so good. Also the art here is rather amusing to me coz imagine having these futuristic and advanced robo-Pokemon and then losing to a possessed lawnmower and a bird with a pompadour. No shade on Rotom Mower and Squakabilly but the scenario just seems so amusing to me XD

Yeah, the way that AI Turo's singing is colder and less aggressive than AI Sada's really makes the sheer desperation in the "This is too much, you must run" bit and the subsequent fury that much more impactful. For Sada, it's just more of the same, but with Turo it gives the vibe that the cold, robotic facade has been dropped in favour of giving voice to the original Turo's madness and the hatred he would likely have for you if he were here in person.

Sada's was more primal in voice and motherly when caring...a good analogy to her pokemon being the primal versions. Turo's lyrics are much more cold and menacing with a calm and professor like intervention which is fitting for the metal pokemon of the future.
I agree that Turo’s is done really well but Sada’s has so much passion and rage that fits the primal aspect. And the way she growls Koraidon’s name is so good

The amount of potential these 2 battles have for insanely incredible animations (either the anime or just animation in general) is insane Like for the AI turo battle he could be controlling the paradoxs and making the same movements and not even saying his moves out loud While sada could be riding on all of hers and controlling them by putting some sort of chip on them to control the paradoxs in the same way as turo Like theres so much potential and i really hope the pokemon company capitalizes on it

I love the details of the singing and the swapping between Turo and the Ai.
When he sings,"Lay your blade down and" and it going into Turo singing, "See the pain that the future's spawn will bring." And that so much of his lyrics have double meanings. As in, the ai is saying to give up in the face of the future's power while Turo is saying to see the horrible power that the futuristic pokemon have that will tear apart the region.
I also love the difference between Turo's singing, which is more calm and cold, feeling like a machine understanding its goal with only small glimpses of emotion and Sada's singing, which feels more wild like a beast.
I think like ironically it's the opposite. Turo through Paradise protocol is the one calling for the end of Paldea and the AI Turo calls for Julianna to stop him. The AI genuinely became a better person than its creator. "Was keeping the machine running all the professor cared about?"

AI Turo's fear as he tells the group to run is so layered. It sounds like he's genuinely scared not only for the kids but for what will happen to himself. And, I mean if crystals were coming out of my body, I'd be terrified too.

Well, when you really think about it, Sada was only trying to prove that past BIOLOGY was better, not technology. She knew that she had to invent a brand new type of technology to bring the past to the present.
In my mind, she was trying to recreate these extinct Pokémon in their most natural state, unlike the failure of an excuse of other scientists in other regions as far as the study of extinct Pokémon is concerned.
Mega Evolution, from Kalos, (if regional geography in Pokémon is similar to our world) which is very close to Paldea and Galar, proves that what Cinnabar Island did to Aerodactyl is not it's original, natural form. Sada was probably disgusted by that, so she decided to do the same thing in a different way, I.e. inventing a new technology.
Professor Sada would've gotten away with it, too, if it wasn't for us meddling kids and our stupid dogs.
All jokes aside, she most likely would've gotten the Pokémon equivalent to a Noble Peace prize if she had succeeded.

I love how in Scarlet's version, the pokemon team was much more "ancient", with Tinkaton that just bonks things and Spidops who's just a spider
Meanwhile this team is more modern. With Quaquaval, Gardevoir and Squack being human-like pokemon, and then rotom, lokix and revavroom being machine-like pokemon.
Revavroom is a wonderful inclusion in both versions, essentially presenting both the wheel and the engine

The moments when the AI Professor comes back to lucidity briefly and everything calms down in the lyrics might have to be my favorite part. I reminds me of Dialga’s Fight to the Finish when we get to see Dialga’s inner monologue briefly, before returning to the mad lord of time.
Or Arven accusing the machine that’s trying to kill all of us of “cheating” and scolding it for not acting like an adult. That’s also pretty great.
I was tempted to comment this on both videos, but I don’t know if that would come off as spammy or not, so I’m just commenting this here since I played Violet and can’t think of anything else to say on the other video.

I absolutely LOVE Sada’s enraged tone and Turo’s nobility, how both shared a lot of lines, and how you could see their original AI break through when encouraging the player. It made both versions of this cover sound so different, yet so similar all at once!

It's funny how much soul this AI got huh. Dude poured his entire mechanical heart in this. I've always thought this fight was really interesting from a character standpoint. The human professor through Paradise Protocol, intend for their ambitions to be reached no matter how much damage to Paldea will be done and how much danger it would put their son in. Meanwhile, the AI, the artificial professor, wishes for nothing more than to stop this madness. They are horrified at what their original was doing and the lack of care for all the consequences the professor showed. It was beautifully reflected in those songs. Great job.

Despite the issues that plague Scarlet and Violet, I think that it's one of Pokémon's finest stories.
It's about a Professor who is so obsessed with an impossible dream that he/she will destroy the entire world's ecosystem for something that is just ridiculous.
It's like Maxie and Archie's desire to dry up the oceans/flood the land, there's no way to make it sound like a good idea. Period.
But what makes Scarlet and Violet so much more intense is that the Professor's dream quite literally killed them. All that was left of their madness was a robot that recognized the evil that they were planning, but was completely incapable of stopping it, so the robot reached out to the one person who could stop it... The one person who didn't want to help... The Professor's long ignored son, Arven.
I love the difference between Turo and Sada, how Sada talks about stopping bloodshed, while Turo speaks about causing it. Truly a masterpiece!

Love the difference in tone between AI Sade and AI Turo.
Sada sounds almost confident or cocky, while Turo sounds furious. This is especially obvious once Koraidon/Miraidon is released and the Paradise Protection Protocol takes over, where you can almost hear the smile in Sadas voice and Turo basically shouts the lyrics, and the respective art for the two where Sada smiles and Turo is clearly angry.
Though in the part at 4:06, to me, it sounds like the roles have reversed, with Sada sounding angrier and Turo sounding more cocky.
I'm taking this from another commenter, but Sada also sounds much more emotional than Turo who sounds calmer.
The fact you can hear the fear in toros’s voice really shows that he thought we would loss and all would fall love the detail to that.

I just beat Pokemon violet not to long ago, and i gotta say, this really matches the atmosphere that is given, not only that, its awesome to hear the clash between the Ai and the Paradise Protection Protocol, as Ai Turo tries to keep the children's spirits up, even though they are facing unknown creatures, and then dealing with their pokeballs being locked and unable to fight, facing down certain death, and narrowly coming out victorious. (Poor Arven cant catch a break)
nobody has said that the line 'crumble neat a child's thumb' can be understood as the player's actions. you use your thumbs to use controlers and defeate him, and since the target audiance of pokemon is childrens, it make sense.
I like Violet better than Scarlet because of this part of the game, the Future paradox pokemon fit so much more than the Ancient ones. They're much more at home with the actual futureistic time machine and setting of the fight, and are interesting to see contrasting the serene nature of Area Zero.
The way Tom manages to mix the smooth, flowing baritone of the opening with guttural ranting later down the line is SO GOOD

I prefer this one over Sada’s so much. Mainly because of the second part. He sounds completely insane and inhuman, as he should.
Yeah, the way that AI Turo's singing is colder and less aggressive than AI Sada's really makes the sheer desperation in the "This is too much, you must run" bit and the subsequent fury that much more impactful. For Sada, it's just more of the same, but with Turo it gives the vibe that the cold, robotic facade has been dropped in favour of giving voice to the original Turo's madness and the hatred he would likely have for you if he were here in person.
AI Turo is aggressive only during 8 lines but overall he's calmer than AI Sada as said in another comment

Sada's was more primal in voice and motherly when caring...a good analogy to her pokemon being the primal versions. Turo's lyrics are much more cold and menacing with a calm and professor like intervention which is fitting for the metal pokemon of the future.
