fantastic drummer with an amazing sounding kit in a kick ass metal band! Love that Drumeo decided to put a little technical death metal flavor in the mix. Ash is a fantastic choice.
If you look at the most replayed thing on UA-cam you can see how this video is being watched by drummers. I've never seen so many peaks and valleys on it, looks like people are learning parts to me.
ash pearsons drumming really suits the music and the guitar being played. he knows how to compliment the other instruments which makes for very good listening
Killer job Ash! And also let's not forget Phil and his amazing contribution to this band. This song being one of them. I hope we get to hear him play drums again.
I've always been a Tama/Zildjian/Remo kind of guy but the more I hear certain drummers play Sabian/Evans, I'm def open to trying them out. The problem is you can watch 10 diff drummers play the same hi-hats and they may all sound totally diff. It's still great to he able to just search whatever you're interested in on UA-cam to get a sample of the sound. When I first started playing over 20 years ago we had to look in the magazines or online to read what our favorite drummers played and then take a chance and order those cymbals. The local music stores never really carried much for drums and didn't really allow us to actually play the cymbals to see if we wanted to spend $300.
You should watch Phil Dubois, Revocation's original drummer. His performance of Scorched Earth Policy and The Blackest Reaches is what got me into Revocation and now I love them, especially the Deathless album, which the two songs I mentioned before are on
0:46-1:06 (and every time this motive returns) am I the only one that hears a second snare hit in the second measure, following what the guitar is doing? I feel like it should be there! Especially with a snare sound that good, haha
All the time when are we when it's right for us all to click track the warthog residence frequency bpm needs to be worked out these a formula for this .... I know it's going to work I need some help sonically get on this train you know where I'm coming from . I'm going to talk to someone from mega music explain concept and may he might be able to help me or know of persons that can help to make it become a reality for all of us to enjoy and most importantly make the world better place faith people faith is the word for this morning 🌄 ✨️ 🙏 God bless all. MetalSkinz I still miss 3 inches
Love the groove between the notes even tho it’s technical on the surface He still gives an amazing feel to song Great performance for sure 👍👍
Deathless is my favorite Revocation album. Love everything they've dine up to this point but Deathless is fantastic.

That is seriously one of the best sounding snares I've ever heard. Besides Portnoy's snare on A Change of Seasons
I totally agree, such a nice dull crack. Damn.
+Chris Goetchius Looks like a Sonor Benny Greb signature.. It''s a hell of a snare
+Chris Goetchius I really didnt like portnoy's snare on that track. I thought it was tuned a bit too high, i think that every time i hear the track.
Ahhh man i cant get enough of it!
+gh0stn0tez It's a Sonor Benny Greb signature snare
ash pearsons drumming really suits the music and the guitar being played. he knows how to compliment the other instruments which makes for very good listening

Shit! Kit sound: 10/10, really great overall consistency of the sounds. Power, velocity, groove! Congrats :)
The half-time groove in 5 at 4:49 is amazing
Feels like pantera
Spot on! One of the best sounding metal kits I've heard in a long time. Tasteful fills and precise groove, really awesome!
Phil Dubois did such a phenomenal job in Revocation, big shoes to fill but Ash pulled it off
Sick drumming Ash. I was on the fence about getting one of those Benny Greb snares, but now I have too. It sounds so good.
Outstanding!
Great sound
Great sound Mr. Ash!! Congratulations DRUMEO the variety of rhythms in the videos .

Daddy Tama's gonna get mad for you for using those eliminators! ;)
...and that Sonor snare^^
Dam … that dudes kit sounds amazing that snares fucking top notch
First double bass drum kit on Drumeo? Holy smokes, that kit is nice!
That was sick, kit sounds wicked and those Sabians sound phat as,superb job Ash,very smooth and fluent👌
I love how he even grabs the cymbal again to keep it from hitting the guy fixing the mic and then laughs about it hahaha
I come here just to hear ash solo in the break. He is a beast!!!!
Anyone else notice the Sonor Benny Greb signature snare?
Is that what snare it is ?
Wow. I'm not usually that into metal, but this I really liked.

Those solos during the instrumentals should be in the actual song 💯
Very talented Ash Pearson
Ash killlling it again. Stoke for Billy!!
Phil is so underrated
Kit sounds amazing!! Great job!👍
love that crashride sound.
0:46-1:06 (and every time this motive returns) am I the only one that hears a second snare hit in the second measure, following what the guitar is doing? I feel like it should be there! Especially with a snare sound that good, haha
what, like in the alex rudinger cover?
This is my favorite song from that a!bum.
You should try and get Josh Steffen on to talk about double bass techniques or something. It would be really cool
They have way more qualified instructors. I love Josh, don't get me wrong, but this guy alone is more qualified.
Ofcoarse their qualified. I'm just saying that it would be cool since he's been playing for like nearly 30 years, he may have some good tips to share
I don't know how ya'll usually go about picking guests to have on the channel, but I'd love to see Dan Carle on here sometime.
That was insane. Snare sound is incredible. Need to know whats the HHX crash on your left ?
This what I'm talking about that's why metal good classical the same hard passes complexity on time in time anywhere in time

+Drumeo I knew that was a Paragon china. Forgot how good they sounded.
+BurnThePope0514 all of those paragons seem to sound good. too bad the costs are astronomical.
+BurnThePope0514 Indeed, Sabian really makes the best chinas imo. The Paragon, AA Holy and the HHX X-treme are all amazing.
+kodiak wild Truth man, I was stoked when they first released them (huge Peart fan) than I saw the price. Ouch.
Very nice work!
If I'm not mistaken, these are maple shells? They look more like birch to me! But if I'm right, that finish is only available for maple.
+Rastard12345
My guess, Bubinga Birch
Great performance!
Amazing!!!! Nice Work!!!!
looks like Chris adler with short hair lol
Wooo go Ash!!!
You guys Should try to get Nils fjellström on here for sure (ex-Aeon, ex-Dark Funeral, the Wretched End, Myrkskog

Since after Alex and Phil left , Ash made it the better result to be in the band .
fearless!
This sounds amazing holy shit. Whoever did the sound here please clone yourself.
I wish I had your talent
In what shoes Ash plays? (brand?)
+Przemo Chojnacki Would love to know too?
+John Paul Wooltorton Ah, quick search and the shoes are by a company called DB shoes.
+John Paul Wooltorton DB shoes is a chain of stores and not a brand name shoes
+Przemo Chojnacki Ah man, my bad. Google 'dB Groove shoes.' :)
+John Paul Wooltorton it is ... thanks a lot :)

Full bujía..!
Jared falk is sitting next to him
we need Shane Gaalaas on Drumeo.

Benny Adler
I miss 3 inches of blood, saw them 10 times in Ontario lol
Заебись!!!
I prefer the Alex Rüdinger's version, but still a nice performance tho !
Same.
Rudingers version has a lot of stuff that isn't even in the song lol

+John R. or purposely staying at the top of the pocket at times
