Awesome! I knew these guys during my Sunnyside years in at WVU in the 90s. I saw them at least once a month at the Music Garden and Nyabinghi Dance Hall (before they were banned because the bassist defiled the pinball machine). We even hosted a few of their after parties in our apt. above Dr. John's Lounge.
Good guys, great music.

Everyone knows that the Muppets' 'Animal' was based on a combo of Bonham, Baker, and Moon. I think this is the first instance I've seen where a human based himself on a puppet. (It works.)

Probably the best drummer love I have ever seen. Just amazing. I don't think I have seen many drummers as connected with the kit as Rob. In many ways he reminds me of Jon Bonham, except he is about a million times better.

Rob as many other drummers are song writers.
Rich Mullins wrote a hell of a lot of the music and I suspect he arranged it all. The stuff post Rich Mullins is not on the same level and the arrangements are not ideal for instrumental music.

Unfortunately he is no more a member of the band. But the new drummer kicks ass too. I've seen them at hellfest festival last surmmer. The bass man was not on stage... Anyway it was unbelivable to see what kind of music the two others were able to perform !
Rich (bass) & Rob (drums) were irreplaceable !! I mean you can substitute...but there really is NO SUBSTITUTE !!
So kick ass!!! just ran across them on youtube a few years ago... kick ass sound, bad ass music. what ever happened with that Jonny guy? much much much better listening to a tight jam without the annoying excuse for singing on top. He was like the turd topping on something perfect.... this band really jams!! fn right.. having a gay singer in the past was the only flaw...
I hear ya. I believe that Rich Mullins (bass for K2B) met Daniel in rehab in LA...and Daniel's uncle is Ray Davies from The Kinks...so they were probably hoping for his famous family's influence to help them out. Daniel's band was called Year Long Disaster and Rich played bass. I saw them open for Clutch and they were pretty good. I don't know what happened since.
I just wanna know how many drugs the rest of the band had to take in order to become convinced that it was a good idea to let an amazing drummer and performer like Rob Oswald go!

Without Rob Oswald this band goes no further for me. Love the music, but the Rob vibe is missing and means time to move on.

I believe its a sabian aax 22 in this video. he played a 24 also but it looks a bit smaller than the bass drum in this.

Great band. If you don't have a singer people just bypass and don't realize what they are missing.
Just had to add that I find so many bands with songs that sound awesome but the singer destroys it and I just stop listening.
